"Why are we doing this again?" Rachel asked, still unable to stop thinking about her new pregnancy.
"Because, this way, if we pass, no more home-schooling, no worrying about life getting in the way of school and vice-versa. We can focus on whatever we want, and go to college or uni whenever we feel like it," Jess reminded her.
"Oh yeah, I knew there was a reason," she said, laughing, as the two best friends went in to take their GED test, to get their high school diplomas without actually finishing high school. After the test, they both felt pretty good about it.
"I so aced this," Jess said, grinning. "Let's get smoothies to celebrate."
"We both aced it, I'm sure. Definitely in a smoothie mood. Providing I can keep it down." They high-fived in celebration of doing well on the test, and went off to the mall to celebrate some more.
