Jean smiled as she worked on Joyce's baby book, gently rocking the bassinet with her telekinesis. She pasted in pictures of Joyce, with little paragraphs about Joyce rolling over for the first time, and sitting up, and the first time she crawled. She would be 9 months old in 2 days, and was starting to crawl all over the place.
"Hey Scott," Jean said, as he walked into their little suite of rooms.
"Yeah?"
"What do you think about having another one soon?" And even though she couldn't see his eyes, his expression was priceless.
"I think we should wait a little longer," Scott said, gently. "I mean, Joyce isn't even a year old yet."
"Alright. But I definitely was a couple more."
"Oh so do I, I just don't want them too close together." Scott kissed Jean;s cheek before scooping up his daughter and sitting down next to Jean on the sofa. They just enjoyed being a family for a little while.
