Daniel Radcliffe was trying in vain to film a scene for "Harry POtter and the Goblet of Fire," but her just couldn't concentrate.
"Sorry Mike, I have to take another break."
"Dan, Listen, we'll break early, and you and Tom can go check that school out for the weekend. Just to see what's what. I can't keep losing my leads because they're mutating," Mike Newell, the director said. And Dan grudgingly agreed. A couple hours later Dan and Tom teleported into Xavier's School for Gifted Children.
"Do you know where we're supposed to go?" Tom asked.
"Nope," Dan replied, "I've never been here before." The two looked for somebody they might ask for help.
Hilary and Bree
Hilary was walking through the school with Bree, the two chatting and laughing animatedly.
"I'm tipping that we should just jig off Storm's class," Bree said to the younger mutant.
"But... yeah, ok."
Hilary stopped for a moment and smiled.
"Daniel?"
Daniel
"Hil? I didn't know you went here," Daniel said. "YOu know Tom, right?" Tom waved to Hilary.
"We've just been forced into mutant-palooza," Tom said, wrinkling his nose.
Hilary and Bree
Hilary hugged Daniel briefly.
"Yeah I came a few days ago. And hey Tom. Guys, this is Bree."
Bree smiled and waved.
Daniel, Frankie and Jean
"HEy guys!" Frankie said, hopping over as Dan and Hilary were hugging, and he shot Tom a conspiratous look. Tom grinned back.
"Four movie stars?" Scot said quietly as he and Jean walked up to the new students.
"Hello, Dan and Tom, correct?" The two boys nodded. "I'm Jean Grey- Summers and this is my husband Scott, we're two of the teachers here. I see you already know a few people here?"
"Just Frankie and Hilary," Dan said.
"Well, why don't you look around, and we can get you settled into your room later."
"Alright," the two Brits agreed.
Bree and Hilary
"I'm gonna go shopping. I'll catch you all later," Bree said, flouncing off.
Hilary walked ahead with Daniel, chatting animatedly to him.
"Aren't you meant to be filming or something?"
Daniel and Frankie
"YEah. Tom and I are probably going to be coming and going. We have to learn control, according to the director, because it doesn't work if Harry hears voices in the fourth film." Dan said, with a somber grin.
"That worked fine for the second film, but Mike thought it more helpful if Dan was able to concentrate, and if I didn't send things flying about all the time." Tom said.
"So does anybody know their way around yet?" Dan asked.
"I know where the caf is," Frankie said, "ANd I don't know about you, but I'm starved."
"I"m hungry," Tom said.
"Tom, you're always hungry I swear, you could eat in your sleep."
Bobby and Hilary
"Why not, take a crazy chance! Why not, do a crazy dance!" Bobby sang as he spotted Hilary, completing the chorus with a series of hip twists and kicks.
"I swear, I might just have to kill him," Hilary said, rolling her eyes.
"That little voice in my head," Bobby started, then stopped.
"Oooh, we have a Harry and a Malfoy."
Frankie and Daniel
"Who's the nutcase?" Tom asked.
"That would be Bobby Drake. He has no life," Frankie said, poking Bobby in the head and turning his hair green with his atom manipulation.
"Fun fun fun." Dan said, laughing. "Food now."
"Excellent! American pizza! England has a lot of wonderful things, but good pizza it does not have." Tom and Dan loaded their plates up with about four or 5 slices each.
Hilary and Bobby
Hilary grabbed some food and sat down next to Daniel.
Bobby made a rather large "Whooo whooo" noise.
"Yes, Bobby?" Hilary asked.
"Nothing, practicing my train impression," he replied.
Frankie and Martha
"Told you," Frankie said, "Insano dorkus boy." He whapped Bobby upside the head. "Be nice in front of the proper English gentleman," Frankie said, which forced Dan to snort soda out his nose.
"Nice, is that your power?" Martha asked, sitting down next to them. "Spewing liquids through your nasal cavity?" Tom looked like he was about to die of laughter.
"Next interview," Tom warned, "I'm telling all of the press how Harry Potter sprayed cola out his nose in front of pretty girls." The comment caused Martha to blush.
Bobby and Hilary
"Gross, Malcom touched me. Now I'm gonna have to go bathe."
Bobby grumbled and left the caf, heading for the medlabs to hang out with Hank and Joss.
Hilary laughed.
"Tom, don't tease little Harry."
Daniel and Martha
Dan stuck his tongue out at Hilary for calling him little. and Tom pouted. They were in they're "Act stupid, it's a pretty girl!" Phase that every teenaged boy goes through.
"So, what's your power?" MArtha asked Tom.
"Well, I'm a hybrid, half alien. I've always been able to teleport, but recently I've become telekinetic. I don't have any atom manipulation, though."
"ANd I have, like, telepathy and dreamwalking or dreamseeing," Dan said. BUt what ever it is, I can't seem to shut it off, and I constantly have stuff in my head that I don't want there." Dan made a face.
"WEll, I'm sure Jean or the Professor can help you learn how to block it all out," Martha reassured.
"What about you?" Tom asked.
"Weather control." Martha said.
"wicked cool," declared Tom.
Hilary
Hilary finished her lunch and took a sip of her drink.
"Ok, I feel like watching more movies than any one person can handle. Who wants to join me? Dan, Tom?"
Daniel and Martha
"Count me in," Tom said. "Just as long as we don't have to watch the Lizzie Mcguire movie. Emma's made us watch it, like, four times."
"I'm in, as long as we DON'T watch Harry Potter."
"I've never seen that," Martha said. "What is it?" Dan and Tom looked at her like she had three heads.
"Did you grow up in a barn or something?" Tom asked.
"Not exactly. i grew up Amish."
Hilary
"Ugh, I hate watching myself on screen."
Hilary started to lead them to the rec room.
"I was thinking of some scary sorts of movies."
Daniel and Frankie
"WE all hate watching ourselves on screen," Frankie said. "Although, I was pretty cool in Cody Banks."
"Natalie was way better than Cody. Cody was a major doofus," Dan said, which caused Frankie to give him a noogie.
Hilary
Hilary laughed and nodded.
"Yeah, Natalie was cool."
Tom
"Was that a fun role to play?" Tom asked Hilary. "As much as I love playing the good guy, Draco is definitely the most fun role to play. He's such a cheeky little bastard," Tom said, laughing.
Hilary
"Yeah, it was heaps of fun. It was better than playing Lizzie, anyway. Lizzie always does the same kind of things, but Natalie was cool."
Hilary settled down next to Dan.
Frankie, Tom and Daniel
"What to watch, what to watch," Frankie said, musing. "Hmmm, ANna and the King looks interesting." Tom threw a book at Frankie's head. "Or not. How about Velvet Goldmine?"
"That has Ewan MacGregor in it, right?" Dan asked.
"Yeah. The music in it is great." Frankie said.
Hilary
Hilary shrugged.
"Go for it. I don't care - Oh! I'm vibrating."
She stood up and pulled her cell phone out, then left the room to take her call.
Frankie, Tom and Daniel
Frankie waggled his eyebrows. He and Tom turned to Dan.
"You gonna ask her out already or what?" he asked the blushing Brit.
"None o' your business," Dan mumbled, causing others to laugh.
Hilary
Hilary came back into the room, phone against her ear, a smile on her face.
"Adam Lamberg, call me Lizzie again and I'll kick you so hard!"
She lowered the phone.
"Guys, you wanna party? Adam's having a party, to celebrate... well nothing really. So, wanna go?"
Daniel, Tom and Frankie
"Sounds good to me," Dan said.
"Me too," Tom agreed, "What time?"
"Parties are always good," Frankie stated.
Hilary
"What time, fat head?" Hilary asked.
She paused and then nodded.
"Dress what? Yeah, why not. Haven't in awhile. Yeah, I love you too," she said in a sarcastic tone before hanging up.
"At about 6. So I need to go and get ready."
Hilary flipped her phone in her hands, then slid it into her back pocket.
"Well, I'm gonna go get slutty. I'll see you babes later."
With a final wink, mainly at Dan, Hilary left the room, blonde hair swishing.
