AJ
AJ chewed her bottom lip as she sat on the edge of the bath.
She wasn't ready for this. And she knew he wasn't either. What the heck had gone wrong? And where?
She groaned and scratched her head before getting up to wash her face.
Of course she had to tell him. Of course she had to.
Of course...
Sighing, she decided she had to do something about it before she drew blood on her lip.
She left the bathroom and listened for Noah's guitar. Hearing him in the bedroom, she made her way toward it and stoo din the doorway to listen.
Noah
"On your knees, such a tease
And bitter sweet, you're not what I need..."
Noah stopped and looked up, then smiled at AJ.
"Hello stranger."
AJ
AJ folded her arms with a smile and leant her head against the doorframe.
"Ha. Ha," she retorted.
"It's not my fault I'm sick. In fact, it's quite yours."
Noah
"Yeah, my cooking's a little dodge. But I can just whip something else up tonight."
Noah rested his guitar against the wall and got up, walking over to AJ.
"You ok?"
AJ
"I think so," AJ sighed, wrapping her arms around his waist and leaning her head on his shoulder.
"Me and... someone else. Other than you."
Noah
Noah kissed her forehead.
"Wait... are you telling me... are you..."
AJ
"Apparently."
She leant up and kissed him before he could say anything else.
"Guess you're going to be someone else's daddy from now on, too," she chuckled.
Noah
"Dude, that is cool!"
Noah laughed and kissed AJ again.
"But scary in a way. Wanna do something to celebrate?"
AJ
"Hmm... like what?" she hugged him again.
"Although a baby shower would be good. So we don't have to buy anything for it."
Noah
"Yeah, let's mooch presents from our friends," Noah said, grinning.
"Did... did you wanna tell your parents?"
AJ
AJ's face fell for a moment.
"I'm not interested in another arguement," she insisted.
"Maybe we can just tell your Dad. Eventually they'll find out one way or another."
Noah
"Yeah, this is totally up to you."
Noah led her into their living room.
"We could go on a road trip, just before you get too pregnant to do that sort of thing?"
AJ
AJ grinned.
"I'd love that. Maybe before your tour starts?"
Then she hesitated.
"Oh great. It's due on tour."
Noah
"Not an issue. Adz is a teleporter, so there's no major drama," Noah said.
He wrapped his arms around her waist.
"So, road tripping with the mates? Hey, you know what? Why don't we get Adz to port some of your mates over and we can all road trip. Or we can trip in Perth."
AJ
"I've been everywhere in Perth. It's not that big a place."
AJ hesitated, then looked up.
"Unless we go across the Nullarbor. That could take about a week."
Noah
"That sounds distinctly frightening."
Noah chuckled.
"So we wanna do that? Coz I'll give the others a buzz."
AJ
"Since when have I ever refused a road trip?" AJ grinned, rubbing her nose against his before backing off.
"I hope Tash and that aren't busy."
Noah
Noah pointed to the phone then the computer.
"Go for it. Call, MSN whatever. I'll message the others."
AJ
AJ ruffled his hair, and then went to sit at the computer and log onto the internet.
No one was online, so she started sending emails.
"Damn American time difference..."
Noah
Noah grinned and went off to message his friends.
