Julie, Rogue and Shannon
Matt threw a dart at the dart board.
"Nice shot," Joelle approved.
"Thanks."
Matt took down the darts and handed them to Joelle, just as his skin changed colour.
"Darn," Matt said.
He pulled away quickly (nearly dropping the darts in the process) and stuck his tongue out in concentration. He was not going to let his stupid power ruin his evening.
"Good evenin' y'all," Rogue said, walking in with Shannon and Julie.
What was that he was saying about his evening being ruined?
"Hi girls," Joelle smiled.
"Stay away," warned Matt, stepping back further into the corner of the room.
"Hey, hey," Joelle scolded. "Stop getting yourself stressed. Try to relax!"
She shook her head.
"He wouldn't have such problems controlling his power if he didn't get so stressed."
"Hey!"
"Well, it's true. Learn to relax!"
"We haven't interupted anything important have we?" Shannon asked tentatively.
"No, no," Joelle replied. "All is good. Matt was just kicking my butt at darts."
"Darts are fun," Rogue nodded.
"Or maybe..." Joelle considered, "Matt thinks I'm better at darts than I think I am, and he's been getting stressed about me beating him..."
The girls giggled. Matt glared and stuck his tongue out at her.
"Yes, that's right," Joelle teased. "Act like the 5 year old you truly are."
