Kirk & Chloe
"Someone tell me why I even bother? Please? Anyone?" Kirk almost growled.
"It's not your fault, and it certainly isn't the fault of anyone here," Chloe tried to calm him down before handing him a head set.
"But you'd better get on the phone to Isaac and Zac."
"And what the hell am I going to say to them?" Kirk demanded.
"They'll understand. Just tell them to pull into a motel for a few days or something. This must be killing them more than it's killing you."
"Oh I am not sure about that. Taylor's not the only one there remember."
"We'll get Chris back. Just call them."
Kirk deliberated for a moment, before telling Cathy to send the call through to Isaac's cell phone.
Isaac and Zac
The music cut out as Isaac's phone rang. Zac, who was leaning against the window, glanced over with mild interest as it answered.
"Hello?" Isaac asked cheerfully.
The brothers had been rather bored latey. The phone - oooh distraction.
Kirk
"Sorry to be the barer of bad news yet again guys," Kirk mentally kicked himself, "but you might want to pull into a nearby motel or something and set up for a few days."
He scratched his nose.
"It seems there are magick users on their side this time, and they've been leading us around in circles. However, I do believe they are somewhere near where you are now. And I will definitely let you know as soon as I hear anything."
Isaac and Zac
"What?" Zac exploded. "I can't believe this!"
"Zac, clam down -" Isaac began.
"I hate magic users."
"Says you who has one for a son and a nanny."
"Hey, you're the one who's been doing all the driving for the past few days."
"Yes, and do you see me chucking a spaz?"
"No, and I can't understand why."
"Because when you go up against the big guys you have to expect a few hiccups."
"Hiccup! Hiccup! Ike, we're been driving around in circles!"
"Yes, I know this," Isaac shook his head and sighed. "Thanks for the advice, Steel. Call us as soon as you have anything more."
Kirk
"I don't blame you Zac. I hate most of them too. And I will certainly let you guys know as soon as I hear anything. Take it easy," Kirk insisted, "hopefully it won't be too long."
Isaac and Zac
"Thanks, Steel," Isaac said again.
They hung up and Isaac started looking around for a motel they could stay at.
"This sucks!" Zac glowered.
"Get no argument out of me."
