Sabre & Priss
Sabre opened a portal into the house, stepping through silently. Priss's nostrils twitched as she looked around.
"It stinks of despair."
"But with new life," Sabre corrected.
They looked at the corner where Bets was slowly rising to her feet over her puppies.
"Down, puppy," Sabre warned.
Bets snarled and then howled loudly.
"F*cking hell!"
Clarissa rolled out of bed, sleepy eyes opening as she grabbed for her knives and ran out the door in her pajamas.
"BEE!"
Sabre tutted and sprang for her. They went down in a tangle of limbs, then Clarissa hit a wall with a groan and a curse. Sabre grabbed her and she flipped them both, flinging him into a couch and breaking it.
"Childish as always, my brother," Priss noted coldly as Sabre and Clarissa bit and scratched and tussled on the floor, neither one able to gain an upper hand.
"Let us get what is ours and leave. No one ever mentioned anything about fighting or bedding the help."
Jason
Bee appeared from the back door to find Riss and Sabre practically all over each other.
Frowning slightly, he pulled them apart with his force fields.
"What's going on?" he demanded in his deep voice.
Sabre, Priss & Mouse
Sabre grinned, blood running down one side of his face and eye blackened as he blew a kiss at Clarissa. She curled her lip at him in disgust.
"Bets howled. Woke me up, I came out and he jumped me."
"Ach, but ye are so jumpable, lass," Sabre teased.
Priss frowned and rebuked Sabre sharply in Egyptian. He snarled back, before looking up.
"We're here to take what's ours, mortal."
Mouse came out of her bedroom, eyes wide.
"Sabre? Priss?"
"Sleep and forget," Priss said, flicking her fingers towards Mouse.
The girl's face went slack, eyes closed as she slowly slumped to the floor.
Jason
Bee created a small force field to help Mouse to the ground softly as he folded his arms.
"And where would ye be taking her?"
Sabre, Keltie & Priss
"Somewhere she will be safe, ye daftie," Sabre said.
"Fionbach! Ye back?" Keltie said, as she came out of the nursery, Finn in her arms.
"And these be the ones then?"
Sabre and Priss moved to look at the baby. Finn cooed, wings beating slightly and reaching for Priss's long white hair.
"Aye, these be the ones," Priss said softly.
"Found, art thou, child of flame."
Sabre nodded slowly.
"Pack ye stuff, Keltie. Get the bairns ready to go."
Jason
Bee nodded, watching the exchange between them.
"Technically, if they leave Tulsa - which it looks like they're doing - we don't need to know their whereabouts," he said to Riss.
"Good luck to you then."
Sabre, Keltie & Priss
Sabre went with Keltie to pack the Three up and also Mouse's belongings. What they thought she would need.
"Thou dost realise we are taking our Claimed with us?" Priss said softly, looking at Mouse.
Jason
"Quite," Bee insisted.
"Care for a beverage before you leave?"
Priss
Priss inclined her head gracefully.
"That would be pleasant, thank thee. Dost thou have tea?"
Clarissa rubbed her sore arm and glared balefully at the white haired woman.
Jason
"We do," Bee nodded.
He began to head for the kitchen.
"Milk? Sugar?"
Priss & Sabre
"We have left out responsibilites lapse with this poor child," Priss sighed as she followed him.
"I do not have anything in my tea, I thank thee."
Sabre came back out of the bedroom, stacking things together on the ground.
Clarissa glared at him and he chuckled darkly.
"Oh, lass, so beautiful, yet so unforgiving."
"Stay away from me."
"Ah, my heart is wounded by thy cruelty."
He put a hand over his heart and pouted at her. She just glared.
Jason
Bee put the kettle on and got her tea ready.
"Anything for your brother out there?" he raised an eyebrow.
Priss & Sabre
"I think the less people talk to him, the better."
Priss looked over her shoulder.
"Sabre, leave the poor girl alone."
Clarissa bared her teeth. These people rubbed her the wrong way entirely.
"She can take care of herself," Sabre said, eyes still on Clarissa.
"Even when she's wearing just her sleep wear."
Clariss growled and left the room, back rigid with indignation. Sabre wolf whistled after her.
"F*ck you."
"I'd rather f*ck you, lass."
"Bloody well get lost and f*cking die."
Jason
Bee chuckled as he settled to wait for the kettle to boil.
"Nevermind Riss. She has a hard time taking a joke."
Sabre & Priss
"I have a hard time with strange guys feeling me up while throwing me into walls!" Clarissa corrected him loudly from her bedroom.
Sabre grinned.
"Aye, but what can I say? I like a lass with some moxy, nice tits and a good right hook."
"Bratling child," Priss murmured.
"Aye, but ye love me."
"Doubtful, highly doubtful."
Jason
"And she wonders why she can never keep a steady boyfriend," Bee said under his breath as the kettle finally boiled.
He made up a couple of mugs of tea, and handed one to Priss.
Sabre & Priss
Clarissa tugged a shirt on over her head.
"Most men don't have enough balls to keep up with me, that's why."
Sabre grinned, hearing the telepathic conversation and sliding into it smoothly.
"Bet I would, lass. Care to give it a go?"
"GET OUT!"
Clarissa slammed down shields and booted him back out into his own mind. Sabre laughed loudly while Priss shook her head. She sipped from the tea slowly.
"He's not related to I, truly. I think Mother picked him up from a midden."
Jason
Bee chuckled and sipped from his own tea.
"So can you tell us where we're going? Or need we not worry?"
Priss & Sabre
"Thou needst not concern thyself," Priss said gently.
Sabre went to Mouse and lifted her gently, one hand running through her hair. Her eyes remained closed, face peaceful in repose.
"Think not too cruelly of us when you remember everything, Mouseling. We do it for your own good."
Jason
Bee nodded.
"Ok. I'll call Steel and let him know what's happened."
Sabre & Priss
"Steel, is it?"
Sabre looked at Bee as he gently laid Mouse on the floor again.
"Steel's the name of the boss man," Clarissa said as she came out of her room.
Sabre grinned at her, getting to his feet.
"So, Clarisssssa..."
"It's Riss to you," she snapped at him.
"But Clarissa be such the prettier name, much like your fine self," Sabre said flirtatiously.
"Sabre..." Priss sighed.
"Whyfor dost thou persist in this tomfoolery?"
"Because she be pretty and fiery, and I be bored and lonesome," Sabre said.
"We don't have time for it."
"Ah, Priss, see this is where we differ. I firmly believe there's always time for this."
Jason
Bee shrugged.
"I'll be back in a moment."
He grabbed the cordless phone from the counter and stepped out of the room to call Steel.
Keltie, Priss, Melisande & Sabre
Keltie came back in and gave Melisande to Priss, who cooed at the little girl softly.
"Such eyes...like fire."
Melisande stared back calmly, mind questing for Priss's.
The cat chuckled softly, carefully turning Melisande's tendrils back into herself.
"Ah, ah, little one. Thou shouldst not enter another's mind uninvited. It is quite rude."
Golden eyes just stared back.
Keltie came back with Jason in one arm and Flynn in the other.
"Sabre, there be a few things left."
"I'll get them," Sabre said, going past Clarissa.
He smacked her ass and she jumped, eyes glaring at him as she clapped a hand to her offended body part.
"Don't touch me."
"But I want to."
"Grrr..."
She moved across the room.
Jason & Kirk
"Do you know where they're taking her?" Kirk frowned.
"Nah, I don't. And they're not going to say. Just know that she's with them, ok?"
"But they're definately leaving Tulsa?"
"Yeah, I'd say so."
"Ok," Kirk rubbed his nose, "thanks for letting me know. If you hear anything else, call me."
"I will Steel. Ah... what do you want me and Riss to do?"
Kirk hesitated.
"Collect up the rest of her belongings and clear out the house. Take whatever you can over to the Hanson home - not Taylor's apartment. After that, come back to the labs."
"Ok. See you in a few hours."
They hung up, and Bee returned to the kitchen.
Sabre
"So...we just let them take her and the kiddies?" Clarissa asked, raising an eyebrow at Bee.
"Don't ye trust us?" Sabre asked.
Clarissa snorted.
"I don't trust you at all."
"Fair mortal wounded am I..."
Jason
Bee nodded.
"Once she leaves Tulsa it's not Steel's problem," he shrugged, "and we're in the clear."
Priss & Sabre
"I see," Priss murmured.
"Sabre, we leave now."
"Aye, sister mine."
Sabre bowed slightly to Priss, then turned and grabbed Clarissa by the shoulders, giving her a bruising kiss before the group blinked out, along with the assorted belongings. Clarissa blinked in shock, then growled.
"I'm going to kill him."
Jason
"Nah, you don't want to," Bee shook his head.
He took a deep breath, then put his mug down again.
"Orders from Steel. Clean out the house and take whatevers left over to the Hanson house. The main one. After that, we've gotta meet him back at the tech lab. I think he has another job for us already."
