"Oli!" Duke shouted.
He ran across the lawn and gave his older brother a hug.
"Whoa," Oliver grinned. "Hey, Duke, how are you?"
"Gooooood!"
"Oli?" Rowena called. "Duke, get off your brother so he can come in, and I can get a look at him."
Duke grinned, grabbed Oliver's arm and dragged him inside, Oliver laughing all the way.
"So, I'm guessing you missed me?"
"You've been gone forever!"
"Not quite forever."
"Close enough," Rowena said, appearing in the door way.
"Hi Mum," Oliver smiled as she looked him up and down.
"You've grown," she said.
"Really? I was just thinking the same thing about Duke."
Duke promptly flexed his arms and laughed evilly.
"I am mighty man! Dun, dun, dunnnnn!"
Oliver chuckled.
"Hmm, so you're the apprentice station commander," Rowena said.
"Yep. Proof that neoptism is alive and well."
"I'm sure you earned the position in your own right."
"I hope so. Where's Miette?"
"She was recruited to protect one of the mutants who have gone public."
"Ahh," Oliver nodded. "Do you know which one?"
"Prince Harry."
"Oooh, go sissy, getting chummy with royalty."
Rowena laughed.
"Oli, Oli, Oli," Duke interupted. "Can I go to the station sometime?"
"I don't see no reason why not," Oliver answered. "Now that they've got the teleportation ampilfier up and running we can go up and down all we like."
"Good, then I hope to se eyou more often, young man," Rowena said firmly.
Oliver saluted as Duke cheered.
"Yay! I get to go in a space station!"
