Christian
Christian took a deep breath as he stepped out from the doorway, pretty glad to be breathing fresh air again.
Ok, so the air conditioning wasn't too bad. It could be better.
"See you in a couple of weeks," came Jackson's voice from the door.
"Sure thing," Christian nodded, waving a goodbye.
He spotted his bike - nicely cleaned and everything - and headed over to it. His hair had been neatly cut to his preferred length and once again dyed jet black. His eyebrow ring sported a tiny blue gem on the top bead, only visible if you were actually looking for it.
Twining the keys to the bike between his fingers, he stepped over onto it and fitted them into the ignition. He could have purred in delight as the engine started.
He grabbed the helmet sitting on it and put it over his head, before backing it out of the driveway and taking off down the street.
The beginning of his training was over. Just the first few stages. He still wasn't immune to pain and he hadn't learnt how to control all the spider pendant's powers of yet, but there was always more time after his break.
Which ran for two weeks.
And he was planning on enjoying them.
He headed into the heart of Tulsa, heading for where he'd last heard Chloe lived.
Kirk, Christian & Chloe
Kirk was already in a bad mood before he answered his phone.
"Yeah Joel?"
"Guess who's headed your way?" the monitor was obviously smiling.
"I haven't got time for games Joel*"
"Alright, alright. Looks like your kid's having a break from training. Head West two blocks and he'll be coming along shortly."
Joel hung up as Kirk's eyes widened. He excused himself from the people he was with, before beginning to head West.
"Where are you going?!" Chloe called after him.
"Come on!" he indicated for her to follow him.
Chloe looked around curiously, before jumping down from a railing and following him down the street.
"What's happening?" she asked casually.
"Our boy's home," Kirk grinned.
"Christian?!" Chloe's eyes lit up.
"Yep."
Kirk stopped at the end of the street and watched both ways.
"He should be here* right about*"
"STEEL!"
Chloe was pointing to a motorcycle headed in their direction.
Kirk grinned as he caught sight of it, before moving out into the street to wave the rider over.
The bike pulled to a halt just in front of them, and Christian removed his helmet.
"Hey guys," he grinned, as Chloe ran into his arms for a hug.
"Hey yourself," Kirk smiled, watching as Christian obliged, hugging the small goth.
"You're back."
Christian smiled up at him.
"Yeah. For two weeks* I'm back."
