N621
N621 recieved her orders early in the morning and slipped out of the house silently. She trotted away and backtracked, covered her trail and found somewhere she could change back into her human form. She crawled out from under the house, white hair shining in the sun before she silently entered a house and stole clothes from the family who lived there.
Dressed in black jeans that clung to her hips dangerously and a black ripped tee that fit her like a second skin, 'Punk Princess' scrawled across it in red glittery writing, she set off for the park. She had boots on her feet, despite how much the things hurt. She wasn't used to wearing shoes, and she wasn't sure she wanted to wear them often either. They hurt.
She got to the park and looked around. Well, he should be here soon. Deciding she needed to calm down, she kicked off the horrible boots and started to go through a series of karate katas. Movies graceful and edged with deadly intent.
Taylor
Taylor rode his bike up the path and into the mostly deserted park. It took a bit longer to get there from the apartment than the Hanson house.
He skidded a little as he found the bench, and shut the bike off. Looking around to make sure there was no sign of Blakesley, he took his helmet off and shook his hair out. Sitting it on the bike, he got off, and plonked down onto the bench before closing his eyes.
N621
N621's movements slowed, then stopped when she saw Taylor.
Fireworks went off in her brain. Taylor Hanson - picture, scent - get in contact. Spy on him, using whatever means nessecary. Do not use telepathy. Use nudges of empathy, but never anything overt. Name to use: Nina Trotsky. Do not let him see you change. Do not let him know who and what you are. Report often.
She licked her lips cautiously, and then a dog came out of nowhere, barking at her. She made a noise of distress and backed away, putting her hands down to keep it off her.
"N-no, go! Go away now!"
Taylor
Taylor looked up as he heard the dog barking, instantly recognizing it.
"CHELSIE!" he called, seeing the dog stop and take notice - recognizing his voice.
He hesitated.
"Go home!" he ordered in both English and dog, so the girl wouldn't hear.
N621
N621 backed up more, restraining the urge to hiss at the dog. When it barked at her again, more baying then anything else, she gave into her natural reaction and hissed at it angrily, lips peeling back from human teeth, canines slightly longer then normal.
"Shoo!"
The dog backed up, whined and then ran away. N621 let her shaky knees take over and dropped to the ground.
Taylor
Taylor watched with some confusion as the girl fell to the ground.
"Are you alright?" he called.
Not recieving an answer, he bit his lip.
Oh he hoped this wouldn't turn into another Kat thing. He didn't think he'd get that far into it today, but still...
After a moment of contemplation, he rose from his seat and made his way over.
"Are you ok? It was just a dog..." he began, standing over her.
N621 & Ashtoreth
"I don't like dogs," N621 said in a small voice.
"Thanks for making it go away."
She made her lip tremble slightly as she raised her mismatched eyes to his.
Ashtoreth pointed her finger at her scrying mirror and mumured a few words.
"She is perfect, wonderful, everything you ever dreamed of and you must have her for your own..."
Taylor
Taylor blinked for a moment as his eyes fell into hers.
"I..." he stuttered for a moment.
"Ah, you're welcome."
He extended his hand to help her up.
N621
N621 let her eyelashes fall demurely for a moment, then took his hand and let him help her to her feet.
"S'cool, yo. Umm..."
She shuffled her bare feet slightly.
"Name's Nina, yo."
Taylor
"Ah... Taylor. I'm Taylor," he smiled slightly.
She was beautiful.
"Umm... you sure you're ok? Do you... live around here or something?"
N621
N621 smiled at him, grinning and eyes gleaming like jewels. Her close cropped hair was stuck up in wierd and wonderful ways.
"Fine now, man. Don't much like dogs, you know? Like cats, I do. So yo, live here? For now. Parents all with the moving, dad with a new job. And yo, see, I'm all with the bad boys down in Eastside LA, so they think they're gonna make me a proper prep girly girl here. OK so quiet, least they think so. Happy blind them, not quite so happy uprooted me, yo."
Taylor
"Alright, well..."
Taylor looked around.
"Do you need a ride back to where you're from or anything? I mean I have a bike..."
All the while kicking himself.
N621
N621 scruffed her fingers through her hair, making her top look even tighter.
"Nah, though thanks. I be cool as ice. Just hanging, yo? Nice park. Not many parks a girl can go into all alone in LA, you know?"
Taylor
"No, no I imagine there wouldn't be," Taylor replied, looking her over a little.
Hey, he was single now.
"But things are pretty nice around here."
He was a little curious as to the way she talked, but brushed over the matter quickly.
N621
N621 grinned, a quick flash of teeth before she put her arms on the branch above her head and flipped into the tree. She crouched on the branch, looking down at Taylor.
"I think the view be pretty nice, yo."
She put her knees around the branch and the swung down off it, top falling down her stomach as she trailed her fingers across the ground.
Taylor
"Careful," Taylor raised his eyebrows, stepping back a little, "don't want to hurt yourself."
He looked back over his shoulder at his bike, debating whether or not to leave right then.
N621
"I be fine, foo'. Just hanging round."
N621 flipped rightside up again and dropped off the branch in an easy crouch.
"So, what do you do with your time, yo? What is there to do in Bum F*ck Nowhere?"
Taylor
"It's not exactly nowhere," Taylor almost snorted, defensively.
"And personally, I'm a musician."
N621
"It's a cold nowhere," N621 asserted.
"Sounds cool."
She tilted her head to the side, studying him for a moment.
"Don't dress like a gangsta, so not hiphop, rap or R&B...rock or pop?"
Taylor
"A bit of both," Taylor tilted his head mockingly, starting to get annoyed.
"And it's quite summer yet."
N621
N621 turned away slightly, eyes tracking to where some kids ran by shouting.
"S'cool, man. Wish I was good for something instead of nothing."
Taylor
"I'm sure you're good for something," Taylor shrugged.
"What do you like? What are you interested in?"
N621 & Ashtoreth
"I'm real good at fighting, hate people looking down on me, yo," N621 said.
"The 'rents don't like it. But sometimes, there's only so far you can run before your back's to the wall."
She sat on the grass and looked up at him.
"Ever get that feeling, yo? Like everything's pressing down on you and you think your head's gonna split? Like you're giong insane while everyone else is playing at Happy Famlies? Ever felt hunted?"
Ashtoreth stepped up on her love spell slightly.
"Look at her...her hair looks so soft, wonder what it would feel like on the palm of your hand? She knows what you feel sometimes...a kindred spirit."
Taylor
Taylor felt the palms of his hands tingling as he looked her over.
"Yeah, I do..." he said softly, his head to the ground.
He quickly put his hands in his pockets before he could do something he'd regret.
"All too well."
N621
N621 nodded slightly, still looking up at him.
"Sit down, yo. Looking up at you makes my neck hurt."
She grinned, biting her tongue between her front teeth.
"Lanky guy."
Taylor
"What, and you're heavier than me?" Taylor raised his eyebrows, though his voice quietened by what she'd said earlier.
He sat down across from her, gazing over at his bike.
N621
N621 kicked at him lazily with her foot, not connecting.
"Don't comment on a girl's weight, yo. Makes most of us all insecure like. Me, I don't care. Guy wants me to look like a stick just because that's 'the ideal of beauty'," she made qoute marks, "according to some dirty old man in a suit who runs a skin mag, he can go to hell."
Her eyes glinted with quicksilver moods as she shifted onto her elbow, looking at him.
"Your bike? Sweet looking ride."
Taylor
"Thanks," Taylor said, smiling again slightly.
"And you're not exactly anorexic, so I didn't think it'd be an insult."
N621
"Don't think I'm heavier then you, yo..."
N621 gave him an appraising stare.
"You're bigger then I am. How old are you anyway? Cos I knew an awful lot of real tall middle schoolers..."
Taylor
"I'm 21," Taylor chuckled slightly.
"I think I'm 6'1, and I didn't think I looked that young."
N621
"I'm 19, yo...know I don't look it."
N621 rolled her eyes.
"I *hate* being so damn short. Though I can get kid's prices in restraunts and stuff...mmm. Icecream. Icecream be good....mmmmmm..."
Taylor
"Well that's one way to look at it," Taylor shrugged, before laying back on the grass with a grunt.
"I normally don't have much problem with getting what I want though."
N621
"World treat you good then."
N621 scratched idly at an itch on the back of her head.
"So, um..."
Taylor
"Yeah... I guess..."
He sighed for a moment, eyes scanning the clouds.
N621 & Ashtoreth
"So, what music do you do?" N621 asked, looking at the clouds and smiling softly.
"Look at her," Ashtoreth said softly, hand held over her scrying mirror.
"She appears to be so pure, yet strong. Like metal that has been purified and strengthened by fire. She would understand you and not seek to trap you, for she has been trapped and would not do it to another. Does she not appear desirable? See, ah, her skin. So soft and pale, like white rose petals. Would it feel like petals under your fingers? Look in her eyes, and see your curious love returned. Questioning love, for you have both been hurt. But there. Love."
Taylor
Taylor frowned slightly to himself, before sitting up onto his elbows and looking over at her.
"A bit of everything," he replied, again looking her over.
"I play a lot of instruments. I'm in a band with my brothers. You've probably heard of us before... unless you've been living under a rock the past seven years."
N621
N621 rolled over onto her stomach lazily, propping her head up on her hands.
"So, what's the name of your band, yo?"
Taylor
Taylor scratched his eyebrow, trying not to make it obvious that he was checking her out.
"Hanson," he replied finally.
"Most people relate that to a song called 'Mmmbop'."
He looked pained at the idea.
N621
"Hanson, yo? Tripping. I do know you wrote other songs though, dude."
N261 licked her lips, thinking for a moment before singing a snatch of one of their songs.
"Good lovin'
Come on and gimmie that love
Good lovin'
All I need is love
Good lovin'
Good, good lovin' baby
Come on baby, baby
Squeeze me tight, squeeze me tight
said don't ya want your baby to be all right, all right
I said baby, baby
it's for sure, it's for sure
I got the fever,
you got the cure, you got the cure
Everybody yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah..."
Her voice drawled through the song, voice husky like she'd been screaming all her life. But still true in pitch and tone.
Taylor
Taylor chuckled slightly.
"I guess you've seen Jack Frost," he smiled, "but... that wasn't originally our song. We do some covers, and that just happened to be one of them. That's by The Rascals."
He tilted his head slightly, watching her eyes. There was something... not quite right about them.
N621
"Still a good song, yo."
N621 smiled back, closing her green eye in a wink.
"I'm more a fan of hiphop, myself. But your stuff has some good tunes, know what I'm saying?"
She leant back onto the grass, lying down fully and making the grass more comfortable beneath her with an emphatic wiggle of her hips.
"These chicks don't even know the name of my band
But they're all on me like they wanna hold hands
Coz once I blow they know that I'll be the man
All because I'm the lead singer of my band..."
She looked at him and lifted an eyebrow.
"Get that?"
OOC: My Band by D12
Taylor
"Perfectly," Taylor said softly. He shifted slightly so he could still see her eyes. Only then
did he realize the colour difference. "Different contacts?" he raised his eyebrows, "looks cool.
Suits you."
N621
"No, yo, I be an all natural girl," N621 said.
"These be my real eyes, yo. Freaks some people out. Mutant scare,
you know? But it's some rare condition, has a Latin name. Animals
get it too, yo."
Taylor
Taylor pursed his lips for a moment, his curiousity sparked
again. "I guess... it's not that common around here. Moreso
Europe."
N621
"Yeah?"
N621 lifted herself up on her elbow again, looking at him.
"It doesn't bother you? Cos it really, really does some people. I
have nothing against muties, yo, but they make it hard for me to get
along with people. Some people see my eyes and freak."
Taylor
"I..." Taylor hesitated to collect his thoughts. "I've seen a lot of weird things in my time," he amended,
before laying down again.
N621
"I hear you, yo..." N621 chuckled.
"Life is weird, flat out. People are weirder. God has a strange
sense of humour, yo."
Taylor
Taylor almost snorted again. "In more ways than one," he murmured under his
breath. His thoughts turned to Blakesley again. And Mouse.
N621
N621 rubbed her fingers through the grass, eyes on the sky.
"Watching clouds is hypnotic, yo."
Taylor
"Cheap form of therapy for some people," Taylor sighed,
listening to some nearby insects. He stared upward silently for some time, wondering if he
should make some kind of move toward her.
N621 & Ashtoreth
"Cheap I can do, yo. Like Almond Joys are Prozac for the poor."
N621 put her hands behind her head and sighed softly, reaching
out tentavily with her empathy. Slow...
"You want to, she's interested, why not?" Ashtoreth prompted.
"Otherwise she would have left. If you were some random guy she
met off the street and she wasn't interested, she would have left by
now. She's not impressed by your international recognition,
interested but not over awed."
N621 turned her head towards him.
"So, what you wanna do, yo?"
"Her..." Ashtoreth murmured.
Taylor
Taylor couldn't take the pressure any longer. "I have an idea or two..." He rolled over on top of her and locked his lips onto hers,
beginning to indulge in a full-on groping session.
N621
N621 moaned softly into his mouth, one leg twining through his
and nails running lightly down his back.
"Not a bad idea, yo..."
Taylor
"No complaints here..." Taylor murmured. His hands began... 'exploring' so to speak. Yet there was
something itching in the back of his mind that just wouldn't go
away.
N621
N621 almost purred with pleasure, then started to make her report
while still responding to Taylor's touches with soft moans and faint
thrusts of her hips.
Contact established. Will continue to draw in subject.
Affirmative.
Like an untrained empath, who didn't even know she had the
talent, like a mutant so minor she didn't know she was a mutant,
N216 let her empathy drift across Taylor's mind, soft and fleeting.
Taylor
Taylor frowned suddenly, before backing off. He took a moment to compose himself, before putting his
hand to his head. He looked at her curiously. "What are you?"
N621
N621 looked at him from under lowered lashes, mouth kiss bruised
and red.
"Me, yo? Just a girl with funny eyes. Why?"
Taylor
Taylor just shook his head. "You're an empath," he insisted, "I know... I know you're an
empath. I know a few of them." He instantly blocked himself from any empathy.
N621
"A who what now?"
N621 wrinkled her nose.
"What the f*ck's an empath?"
She leaned over and sniffed at him.
"You don't smell like you've been rocking the ganj. So, what's
the deal? Or don't explain and let's get back to what we was doing
before, yo."
Taylor
"Whatever you are... you're an empath," he said, sidling away
from her, "it means you can sense and manipulate
emotions." He glanced back over at his bike. He was starting to be
conscious of the fact that something wasn't letting him leave.
Something compelled him to stay by her side.
N621 & Ashtoreth
"You are tripping," N621 said flatly.
"If I could do something like that, I wouldn't get beat up on so
often. I'd make them like me so they wouldn't."
She rolled onto her stomach huffily, pillowing her head on her
arms.
"Perhaps she does not know, her talent so weak she does not know
it for what it is," Ashtoreth murmured.
"Passing off her empathic readings for gut feelings. Thinking
she's good at getting her own way, swaying people to her way of
thinking just because. Not knowing what she is...you could help her,
perhaps. If you can convince her that she is what she is..."
Taylor
"Then you just don't know what you can do, simple as
that." Taylor sat up, making himself comfortable. "Are your parents both human?"
N621
"Well, yeah, what else would they be?" N621 said in a tone of
disinterest.
"Little green men from Mars?"
Taylor
"Not Mars, no one's been there for an age," Taylor rolled his
eyes. "And they could be a vast number of things. But unless you've
been lied to... you're a mutant. No harm in that."
N621
"A mutant, yo? I can deal with that."
N621 rolled back to face him.
"Don't know what I'm doing, yo, so I don't know how to stop doing
it."
Taylor
"Well..." Taylor gave her a sideways look. "I could help you learn. If you trust me. Both my ex-girlfriend
and mother are empaths."
N621
"Don't know if I believe what you think I am, but sure, yo," N621
said, shrugging.
"Freak out finished now?"
She looked at him from under lowered lashes and ran the tip off
her tongue over her lips slowly.
Taylor
"Ah..." Taylor scratched his eyebrow. "Yeah, sure." He leant over her again with a chuckle, pushing her into the
ground a little.
N621
N621 kissed him slowly, nipping gently at his lips.
"Yo..."
Taylor
Taylor finished kissing her for a moment, and hald himself
up with his arms so his face was over hers. "So are you... in it for the long haul, or am I never going to see
you again?"
N621
"You're a more interesting thing to do, yo, then I seen here,"
N621 said, lips curving in a smile.
"Let's see how it goes, yo? You hang out here in the park much?"
Taylor
"Yeah, I do..." Taylor murmured, beginning to kiss down her
neck slowly. "At least when my brother lets me out."
N621
"Cool, yo..."
N621 moaned softly.
"Damn, but you're good with your mouth..."
Taylor
Taylor chuckled slightly. "If we were somewhere more private I'm sure I could
impress a lot more."
N621
"Good thought there..."
N621 opened her eyes to look at him.
"Where though? My mom's at home...and she's the queen biatch from
hell."
Taylor
"Hmm..." Taylor hesitated. "Well, I can't really help there. No telling when my brother's
home or not." He hesitated thoughtfully. "You up for a motel or something?"
N621
"Sure, yo. I don't have any cash on me to help pay though," N621
said with a shrug.
She kissed him again.
Taylor
"No problem," Taylor insisted. He lifted himself from the ground and extended his hand to
help her up.
N621
"That's right, you're a rock star."
N621 took his hand and let him help her up.
"Lemme grab my boots."
She jogged over to where she'd left her shoes and put her feet
into them, zipping up the sides.
Taylor
Taylor followed her over, then led her over to his bike. He
offered her his helmet before getting on and starting the
bike. "Hold on," he instructed, revving the engine.
N621
N621 put the helmet on before she got on the back of the bike.
She put her arms around his waist, one grazing the front of his
pants softly.
"Let's go then, yo."
Taylor
Taylor felt a shiver go down his spine, before taking off to the
nearest motel. It was only a few minutes away. Taylor booked the room,
collected the keys, and led her into it. Bringing the bike in after
them, he shut and locked the door before closing the
curtains.
N621
N621 reached down to unzip her boots, stepping out of her pants.
She wasn't wearing panties. She dragged her top over her head. She
wasn't wearing a bra either.
"I'm on the Pill, yo, but do you have rubber anyway?"
Taylor
Taylor raised his eyebrows. "If we go that far? No. But don't worry about it." He pulled his top shirt off and leant over her, making her lean
down on the bed as he continued kissing her.
N621
N621 pulled him down on top of her, kissing him enthuasitically.
"Crazy man."
Taylor
Taylor chuckled slightly. "If Only you knew..." he murmured. His hands began to rove over her body, before heading down
below.
N621
N621 gasped, then moaned.
"Ah, but good with your hands. Just you, or all musos?"
Taylor
Taylor chuckled slightly. "I haven't actually asked," he raised his eyebrows. "I guess so."
N621
N621 slid her hand down his pants.
"Not something you would really ask, yo."
Taylor
Taylor grunted a little, before his hand shot to her's...
stopping her. "Not yet," he insisted, before continuing what he'd been
doing.
N621
N621 gasped slightly.
"Alright, man..."
Taylor
Taylor smiled slightly, a little unnerved. He settled to kissing her again, as he continued... well, you
know.
N621
N621 kissed him back, hand sliding up his chest.
"Please..."
Taylor
"No," Taylor insisted. "Not yet, I'm not ready."
N621
N621 hissed slightly between her teeth, closing her eyes for a
moment.

Nothing.
Query - Instructions?
Taylor
Taylor hesitated, then backed up and looked her in the
eyes. "If you have a problem with that, I'll leave."
N621
"No, s'cool, yo."
N621 smiled at him.
"Just not what I was expecting."
Query- Instructions?
Taylor
"Sorry," Taylor glanced downward, before looking up
again. "Just a... bad history. Nevermind." He went back to what he was doing.
N621
N621 arched her back and moaned softly before kissing him deeply.
"S'cool, yo. Emotional baggage is a bitch. I know."
Taylor
Taylor recoiled slightly at the thought of her calling Mouse a
bitch. There was no doubt in his mind that he still loved her, but
now he had Nina... God this was screwed. He stopped for a moment and took a deep breath. "Maybe this is enough for today," he said softly.
N621
N621 pouted at him.
"Aw."
Query - Instructions please? Aid?
Taylor
"Well I mean, we only met today. I'm sure we'll be seeing a
lot more of each other." He leant forward and gave her a peck on the lips. "Tomorrow?" he raised his eyebrows.
N621
"Learn to have some fun where I can, yo. Could be dead tomorrow."
N621 kissed him a little more deeply.
"But yeah. See you on a new day."
Taylor
"I'm sure that won't be the case," Taylor insisted, backing off
her and grabbing his overshirt. He watched her as he put it back on. "I'll see you in the park." He threw her the key to the door.
N621
"Yeah, less guns around then in LA."
N621 wriggled into her pants, then picked up her shirt off the
floor as she caught the thrown key.
"I'll see you there, yo."
Taylor
"Yeah," Taylor sighed. He stared at her for a moment, then headed for the door. "See you tomorrow." And he disappeared.
N621 & Blakesley
N621 closed her eyes for a moment.
Report- Successful contact made. Sexual activity declined.
Arrangements made to make further contact tomorrow.
Blakesley smiled, leaning back in his chair, then sat forward to
tap in a return message.
Answer- Success noted.
N621 purred as she was hit with a jolt of pleasure.
Order- Return to primary residence and resume cat form.
N621 jogged out the door, locking it behind her and leaving the
key at the desk. She looked around for Taylor and then jogged to the
place she'd chosen to stand in as her home. She climbed in through
the bedroom window, shifted to cat and then skulked out of the house
to return to the Hanson household.
