Rove

"Well our next guest this evening is one we had on* not too long ago actually. She was set to be touring with Robert `Millsy' Mills as their album releases coincided, but has suffered a major setback preventing her from doing so. She is also one of our favourite Australian Idol stars* and I am pleased to welcome back Rebekah Lavauney!"

Rove clapped along with the audience as the volume of screams intensified.

Rebekah

Rebekah came walking out from the double doors, smiling as she reached the stage.

She hugged Rove and sat down on the seat.

Rove

Rove laughed as he straightened his jacket and the screams continued.

"Alright, alright*" he attempted to calm the crowd, "so Bek* absolutely lovely to see you again by the way* but you are looking rather well in light of recent events."

Rebekah

"Thank you," Rebekah smiled.

"You're looking pretty good yourself. I heard you're up for the Gold Logie again?"

Rove

Rove sighed, raising an eyebrow.

"Well that's what they tell me anyway. You never know, I might show up and be ready to walk out onstage and they'll all jump out from behind the curtains saying `HAHA! IT WAS ALL A JOKE!' But never mind about me. How have you been?"

Rebekah

"I've been good, keeping busy, getting ready to tour again. Keeping away from Levi and hockey sticks."

Rebekah smiled and tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear.

Rove

"Ah yes* as in the statement that BMG released* which I have right here with me*" Rove grabbed a piece of paper, "they said something about a hockey game all gone wrong? For our viewers that still don't know * or aren't sure what exactly happened, would you mind elaborating for us?"

Rebekah

Rebekah nodded.

"Well, one afternoon, Levi, Rob, Kel and I were all just doing sound checks for the first concert of the tour that was postponed... we had some free time, so Levi and Rob decided we should play some hockey."

She laughed slightly.

"What Levi didn't tell me, was that he was slightly less than co-ordinated, when it came to holding a stick."

Rove

"I'll assume by that you mean the hockey stick," Rove raised his eyebrows as he leant over the counter, nodding for confirmation.

"So you never actually got to play the first concert? Because I know some people thought that the first couple of shows went ahead and then there was this huge uproar and everything just kind of hit the fan* fans wanting their money back and all that*"

Rebekah

"Yes, it turned into this huge mess, but luckily, it got sorted out and money was refunded where needed, but BMG have just said, 'look, use these old tickets at the door and they'll be valid'. So it wasn't too drastic as far as these things go."

Rove

"As long as it was all cleared up in the end, that's the main thing," Rove insisted.

"I ah, also heard that quite a lot of your fans were massively supportive* you've been getting a lot of presents and such. And what we have here*"

Rove directed attention to the side of the stage where a stage hand was bringing a large bunch of flowers up to the set.

"Is a little present for you, on behalf of Rove Live, just as a* it was intended as a `Get Well Soon' thing butt hat's kind of over now, so*"

Rebekah

Rebekah looked taken aback.

"Oh... thank you, wow, thank you."

Rove

"You are very welcome," Rove smiled, sitting back in his seat.

"Also, congratulations on the newly made public pregnancy*"

The crowd cheered.

Rebekah

Rebekah blushed.

"Thank you."

Rove

"As said, you are very welcome."

Rove grabbed a pile of cards and tapped them on the desk.

"So how is everyone on tour? Levi* Millsy* Kelly*?"

Rebekah

"They're all good... impatient, but all understanding about it. Especially Levi, who's been waiting on me hand and foot, which is actually quite nice."

Rebekah laughed as a bunch of girls screamed.

Rove

"Well I for one bet he's feeling a little guilty over the hockey thing," Rove said in a quiet voice, before chuckling.

"But I'm sure he's apologized many a time. And it's always good to have someone waiting on you."

Rebekah

"It's a nice feeling," Rebekah joked.

"But yeah, we're definitely all glad that we're going to be touring soon. But before we go, I think we're meeting up with the other idols again."

Rove

"Oh really?" Rove looked interested.

"I know that Guy and Shannon have been well and truly keeping in contact with each other* we had Shannon on the show last month, not long after yourself."

Rebekah

"They see each other the most... I probably see Levi the most, whereas Matt and Lauren see a lot of each other. But we try and see each other as often as we can."

Rebekah nodded.

Rove

"Well Shannon is touring to the extent of my knowledge, but I'm sure they keep in contact by phone," Rove shrugged.

"Has anything been made official about a big reunion yet, do you know?"

Rebekah

"Not yet, but Dicko is trying to arrange it. And a few people are going to be hanging out with this years finalists in the competition."

Rove

"Ah yes* Australian Idol 2. We are definitely looking forward to it. Are you or any of the other finalists from last year going to be involved in the new show?"

Rebekah

"Guy will probably make an appearance... but for now, we've all been told it could be anyone of us. Rob's hoping it's him."

Rebekah shrugged slightly.

Rove

"So* being on tour with you fellow Idol finalists* is there any goss going around that you can let us in on?" Rove raised an eyebrow with a cheeky grin.

"Surely there must be some* Idol secrets looming, some disgusting habits no one knows about, maybe someone giving people a hard time*?"

Rebekah

Rebekah thought for a long moment.

"Levi snores, really loudly. I mean, you can hear it rooms away. Um... Rob... oh Rob has really bad gas, and he's probably going to strangle me for saying, but he does."

Rove

Rove laughed along with the audience.

"Oh that's great. That's just great," he chuckled, pretending to wipe a tear from his eye, "yes I'm sure you'll be in trouble when you get back to the place you're staying. Well, say hello to everyone for us*"

Rebekah

"I will, once Rob is far away."

Rebekah smiled.

Rove

"Of course, of course. The young Millswah. No new girlfriends for him by any chance?"

Rebekah

"Surprisingly no, he's been good while he's been doing promos and stuff. I think he's been too busy for it," Rebekah replied.

Rove

"Millsy too busy for a girlfriend? Never*" Rove shook his head in disbelief.

"Well thankyou for dropping in to see us tonight. It's great to see you back in good health and with the little one on the way* do you know if it's a boy or girl? Any names sorted out yet?"

Rebekah

"I'm not sure, I don't know if I want to know, or be surprised," Rebekah said, smiling.

"Thank you very much for having me."

Rove

"You're always welcome. If you're passing by any other time feel free to drop in and say `hello'," Rove grinned, leaning over to shake her hand.

"Good luck with the tour and with whatever you have planned for the immediate future. Straight after the break we have all new What The*? and we go Roving With Rove. Back shortly!"
