Faith, Gunn and Angel
Faith slipped around the trees, unnoticed. She fastened the pendant around her neck, and pushed through the bushes, until she came to a clearing.
With a final look around, she brought her hand up and touched the jade centre of the pendant, focusing on Wolfram and Hart. She was going to have words with Eve.
A portal opened up, and with a little shrug, Faith stepped through, walking out the other side, in the lobby of Wolfram and Hart. As the portal closed behind her, Faith's eyes glazed over, and she looked around in confusion.
Gunn looked up from where he'd been chatting with Harmony, and then approached Faith.
"Faith?"
Faith spun around, immediately defensive, and brought her hand up around his neck, choking him. She pushed him against one of the marble pillars, and slammed his head into it.
"How do you know my name? I don't think we've been introduced."
"Fa...ith..." Gunn croaked out, his arm reaching up and pulling her hand off him.
"Didn't answer my question, and that just ain't polite."
She roundhouse kicked, hearing her foot connect with Gunn's cheek. Noticing how cold it was, she looked down, to find herself still dressed as a Valkyrie, but not realising that was why.
"Whoa, ok, some freaky shit is going down here. Where are my clothes?"
"Angel!" Gunn called out.
"Need some help here!"
Faith turned to face Gunn, at the mention of Angel.
"You know Angel," she said, not really expecting an answer.
"Faith?" Angel's tone was calm, yet wary.
Faith didn't bother saying anything, she just ran at him, trying to punch him as he caught her arms and held her still. She bent her fingers to look like claws and still tried to attack.
"Faith, it's me, Angel."
"Duh," Faith spat, eyes narrowed.
"I really don't wanna do this."
"Do what?"
Angel elbowed her in the face, knocking her out. She slumped against his chest.
"That."
Angel lifted her up, and went into his office, laying her down on the couch.
"Harmony, can you get Logan on the line? Then alert a teleporter?"
Harmony nodded and went off to do that.
Faith's eyes opened suddenly, and she got up, lunging at Angel again.
"Ok," Angel said, catching her, but getting hit by a few punches before doing so.
"I think restraints will have to do."
With Gunn's help, they managed to chain Faith to a chair.
"Figured you'd be a chain guy, Angel. You, I have no idea about. Who are you, anyway?" she said to Gunn.
"Gunn," he replied.
"Wicked name. Now, let me the f*ck out of these things."
"Boss, Logan's on the line." Harmony hovered in the doorway, eyes on Faith.
"Who the hell is Logan? And Boss? You're a boss? Oh God, give me strength, Captain Retardo is a boss."
Angel ignored her and picked up the phone.
"Logan? Angel."
Wesley & Logan
"What's going on? I heard a disturbance..."
Wesley entered Angel's office and stopped at the sight of Faith.
"Faith. My word."
"Logan here," the mutant growled.
"What's this about Faith?"
Faith
"Hey, if it isn't the Watcher Inferior," Faith said, grinning at Wesley.
"She's here," Angel said, looking at her.
"But uh... she's come back slightly... different."
Wesley & Logan
"I will assume from that she has had a slight memory loss," Wesley said softly.
"Gunn, are you alright?"
Logan growled.
"How quick can I get there? Do you have something, or should I make Storm get out the Jet?"
Gunn, Faith and Angel
Gunn rubbed his neck slightly.
"Yeah, I'm ok. She's got a good grip."
"Oh you bet I do, tiger," Faith hissed.
"Once I'm out of these things, Wes, you're the first to go."
Angel coughed slightly.
"Teleporter will be there in a second. See you soon."
He hung up.
Wesley, Logan & Jubilee
Wesley smiled tiredly.
"I doubt that, Faith."
He took his glasses off and polished them slowly.
Logan put the phone down and scribbled a note before looking up as a woman phased into the room. He nodded at her and let her take his arm.
"Wolvie, I found..."
Jubilee saw what was happening and pounced on Logan just before the woman teleported them out. They appeared in Angel's office and the woman dropped to one knee, breathing shallowly.
Logan snarled at Jubilee and cuffed her ear lightly.
"That was stupid. You weren't meant to come and we all could have died."
Jubilee grinned wickedly.
"Awww, but where would be the fun without the near death experiences? And the reason I thought you were hightailing it out to the City of Angel and evil lawyers is true. How did Miss Bitch get back here?"
Logan cuffed her again and Jubilee slid away, still grinning as she looked at Faith chained to the chair.
"Angel, explain why Faith is chained to the chair," Logan said in a softly dangerous voice.
Faith, Gunn and Angel
"Yeah, explain it, asshole," Faith said, concentrating and breaking through the chains.
She got up and kicked Wesley's legs out from under him, then went after Angel, lunging at him.
Gunn pulled forward and pulled her back, and she punched at him.
"That's why," Angel said, helping Gunn hold her down.
"F*ck off, Gunn, don't make me kick your ass."
Wesley, Jubilee & Logan
Wesley picked himself off the floor slowly.
"Wow, she's finally showing her true colours," Jubilee said.
Logan grabbed the girl's arm and steered her to a couch, sitting her down firmly.
"Jubilee, I love you like a daughter, but ya will sit down and be quiet while we get this mess figured out."
Jubilee pouted at him, then folded her arms as she watched the scene unfold. Logan walked over to where Angel and Gunn were still holding a struggling Faith. With a reluctant sigh, he unsheathed his claws and put two to either side of her throat, the middle one sliding down to just rest gently in the hollow.
"Just be still, darlin'."
Faith and Gunn
"Who the hell are you?" Faith asked, but she stopped moving.
"That's Logan," Gunn said.
"You got with him after you got... well, while you were married to Zac."
Faith snorted.
"F*ck that shit, as if I was married. I don't do marriage, Gunn. And how the hell do you know that? What, we get wriggly or some?"
Logan, Wesley & Jubilee
"You were," Logan said.
"It ended bad."
He lowered his face and glanced over her neck, then made a pleased noise as he noticed a fading nearly gone bitemark of his on her neck.
"As to us, yeah, we're f*cking. And you're *mine*, darlin'. Might take you a while to remember that but it doesn't change what you are."
Wesley moved around slowly to get a tranquiliser gun. Jubilee whistled and kicked her feet.
"And my, isn't that an understatement. Fair to put me off my Cheerios. I don't want to think about my father figure sleeping with someone. Especially when that someone is you."
Faith, Angel and Gunn
"So, what, don't tell me I was in another coma? B stab me again? To save you, dearest Angel?" Faith said sarcastically.
"Buffy's gone," Angel said softly, eyes reflecting pain he hadn't allowed himself to feel.
Faith laughed.
"Coughed up the big one? Ha!"
"And you and Angel, not enemies," Gunn chimed in.
"Pfft, right, whatever, dude," Faith said, rolling her eyes.
"F*cking this guy, yeah, I believe. Being Angel's friend, hell nah."
Faith kicked out, sending Logan flying back and she flipped over Angel's desk and grabbed the broadsword.
"Don't shoot," Angel said to Wes, before focusing on Faith.
"We're not throwing down here."
"Like HELL we're not, vampire."
Wesley, Jubilee & Logan
Wesley nodded slightly to show he had heard.
"Wolvie!" Jubilee yelped.
She concentrated and sent a firework flying at Faith, sending the Slayer into the wall. Logan got up and jumped over Angel's desk, pouncing on Faith and grabbing her hands to pin them to the floor, straddling her hips. He grinned and then leant in to kiss her hard.
Faith and Angel
Faith kissed him back, then maneovred her way out from under him, looking at Angel with contempt.
"You're gonna die, twinkie," Faith said to Angel, before going to attack him.
Angel blocked her punches, not hitting her back, knowing how this scene would play out.
It had happened before.
"Fight back!" Faith yelled, hitting him hard across the face.
"Nice try, Faith," Angel replied.
He tossed her against the wall.
"But I know what you want."
She punched him hard, and he dropped her to the ground.
"I'm not gonna do it. I'm not gonna make it easy for you."
He held onto her, and she hit wildly at him, screaming.
"Please, just do it Angel. Please, just kill me. Please..."
She collapsed into his arms, sobbing.
Logan & Wesley
Logan got up and stared at Angel and Faith, looking distinctly antsy. Wesley made a staying motion at him. Logan lifted his lip in a snarl, but stayed where he was.
Faith and Angel
"Shhh, it's ok, I'm here," Angel said softly, rubbing her back.
He lifted her up and eased her into his chair, reclining it for her, then started to get everyone to leave.
"Angel?" Faith said softly.
He looked at her, and she suddenly imagined picking up his pencil and stabbing him through the heart with it, and she shuddered visibly.
"Nothing."
Wesley, Jubilee & Logan
Wesley ushered Jubilee from the room. She turned her head to look at Logan.
"Be alright, old man?"
"Be fine, Jubes," Logan said softly.
He didn't move from where he was standing, just looking at Faith and feeling his heart twist as she was comforted by another man.
Angel, Gunn and Faith
Angel looked at Logan.
"Maybe you should see what happened when this first happened," he said softly.
Gunn nodded, understanding and went around to the cupboard, pulling out the appropriate machinary, and hooking Faith up to the screen. A click and her memories were displayed.
Faith killing Alan Finch accidently.
Her isolation from the Scoobies.
Eventual downfall and going evil.
Being stabbed.
Coma.
Nightmares.
Waking up, attacking Buffy, then going to attack Angel.
Freaking out.
Nightmares.
Logan
Logan watched stoically.
"Doesn't change how I feel about you, darlin'," Logan said softly.
"I've been a government assassin, so I know darkness. I've killed more people then you've known. I'll wait. Until you remember me. Or whatever you decide."
Faith and Angel
Faith looked at Angel.
"I can't remember."
She looked at Logan, beckoning him to come closer.
"I want to remember."
Logan
Logan came across to her slowly, then bent and cupped her jaw in one hand.
He let the claws on his other hand slide out and ran them down the side of her neck.
"You always complained as fast as you bought clothes, I'd destroy them by slicing them into ribbons."
Faith and Angel
Faith shivered slightly, and Angel lay his jecket over her, then stepped out of the room with Gunn.
"Who... why are you here? How do I know you?"
Logan
Logan grinned slightly.
"Well, we spent a lot of time together when you came to Xavier's mansion. I helped you patrol. Our daughters play together, sharing an invisible friend called Drop Dead Fred who is the biggest pain in the ass you can imagine."
Faith
"Wait, wait, wait, back up this crazy ass train. Daughter? I have a daughter? Um no, I think that's gotta be a lie."
Faith shook her head.
Logan
"Nah, you have one," Logan said.
"Her name's Airlia...where you picked that from, I don't know. Kanika's name I can blame on her mother, crazy cat that she was. And I mean literally, a cat. Daughter of the goddess Bastet. You slept with her brother, Sabre as well," he said thoughtfully.
"I think you f*cked most of the male students at the school as well."
Faith
"That, sounds like me. Daughter, still doesn't."
Faith sat up in the chair, sliding her arms through Angel's jacket.
"So... you and I... how come you're around for longer than one night?"
Logan
"Because I'm possessive as hell," Logan said.
"But we both kinda decided we liked having the other around on a permanent basis."
Faith
Faith nodded slightly.
"So wait, back up the train again. I was married? And I don't hate Angel? Dude, this is an alternate reality."
Logan
"I don't know how either of those things happened," Logan said.
"That was a part of your past I wasn't there for. But now you're back...god, I missed you, Faith."
Faith
Faith looked at him for a long moment.
"I wish I knew if I missed you too, I just don't know."
She paused.
"Wait, where was I?"
Logan
"You died," Logan said simply.
"I was too late...god, by just a second. You were meant to be safe...the witch had a protection around you, but a man knocked her out cold. I killed them both, the demon who killed you and the man that made it possible. I sliced them into bloody ribbons for you. God, I'm so sorry..."
Faith
Faith's eyes widened and she got up.
"No... I didn't."
She shook her head, in denial.
Logan
Logan watched her with sad eyes.
"You died. I organised a funeral at the mansion. Kurt...you won't remember him, he read a Mass for you. Kinda bout this tall, blue fur, yellow eyes and a tail."
He gestured with a hand as to Kurt's height.
"I held you as you died, and then I killed the one who did it."
Faith
"I didn't die."
Faith pushed past him, shaking her head, running out of the office.
Logan
Logan leapt after her, face working in the grimace of a man who will not cry, no matter how deep the grief is. He grabbed her by the arms and pushed her up against a wall.
"You died, Faith. You died, and I went down to the morgue where they laid you out and I could smell the death on you, your heart didn't beat, you didn't breathe and I knew my darlin' was dead. You painted me with your blood as you died. You died because you were something that the Senior Partners couldn't control and didn't want around. They killed you because you were the gaurdian of a very special boy called Brand, the Firefly Key who opens doors to heaven with his blood. That's why Wrath came for you and killed you. Because she wanted what you were gaurding. You were too strong, too ornery for any evil highups to twist around and make you do what they wanted. They killed you because you helped Angel stay on the side of right. Stay a champion."
Faith
Faith shook her head vehemently.
"Then I don't want to be a Slayer. If it just gets me killed..."
Logan
Logan shook her slightly.
"If you hadn't been a Slayer, you'd still die. Hell, everyone dies. What you do is worth doing. It's something that needs to be done, and there are very few people who can, and even fewer who are willing."
Faith
"I died because I was the Slayer. Evil comes, and it's attracted to me, being the Slayer is like wearing a giant beacon. I don't want to..."
Faith looked away, she wasn't going to cry, there was no way.
"It's made me different, and I'm sick of being like that."
Eve watched from her place upstairs, an amused smile on her face.
This was working out rather well.
Logan
"That's what they want you to think. You think I wanted to be born a mutant, keep going even though I know that everyone that I was born among is probably dead. Hell, I don't even know when I was born, or if Logan is the name I was born with. I was experimented on, played with, sent out to kill like a dog and my memory's been shuffled like a pack of cards. But I wouldn't change any of it, because otherwise I wouldn't have met you."
Logan nuzzled at her neck lightly, then turned his head and looked at Eve.
"You bitch. Gloating. You made her die, and now you want to gloat over what you've done to her?"
He pulled away from Faith and started to stalk towards Eve, claws sliding out with a deadly schnikt.
"You're already living on borrowed time, because I will kill you, bitch."
Faith and Gunn
Faith watched with glistening eyes, then turned and started to run from the building.
Gunn grabbed her arm and held her still.
"It's ok, Faith."
Eve smirked slightly.
"You can't kill me Logan. I don't gloat anyway. I merely observe."
Logan
Logan's nostrils flared, eyes starting to burn with gold as his rage built.
"Funny way of showing it. You sure I can't kill you? Can't strip you of your protections and slide three feet worth of adamantium into your gut?"
Faith, Gunn and Angel
"I'm going to take her to your apartment," Gunn said softly to Angel.
Angel nodded, watching Eve squirm in amusement.
Faith allowed herself to be led away, eyes on the ground.
Eve narrowed her eyes.
"I'm very sure. Senior Partners will never allow it."
Logan
"I wouldn't be too sure about that," Logan said, grinning nastily.
"You think you'll be useful to them forever? I will be waiting for the day they decide you're not."
Gunn and Faith
Gunn helped Faith onto Angel's bed, and tucked the blanket around her, then went to get her a drink.
"Gunn... what are we?" she asked.
Gunn paused and grinned at her.
"Friends... fight together. Argue. You know."
Eve's eyes narrowed again.
"You'd think so, wouldn't you. Maybe we'll be seeing you again, sooner than you think."
Logan
"Better be ready to take on the Eyptian Pantheon then," Logan shot back as he drew closer to her.
"The mother of my daughter is Nyx, formally known as Nehetewdat- sy. She Who Triumphs Over The Underworld. Her mother was the goddess Bastet. Her littermates are the Weary Traveller, also known as Priss, formally known as Reshewhep-sy. She Who Rejoices In Law. The other littermate is known as the Black Sword, also as Sabre, formally known as Nehchtew-ntcheret. Divine Victory. I think the Senior Partners won't find it easy to jerk my chain. And I think Khaos might also want to know why you're fiddling with Xavier's school."
Faith, Angel and Gunn
Faith rolled over and closed her eyes, pulling Angel's bedsheets up around her shoulders.
Angel laughed out loud, watching Eve sweat.
Eve just ignored Angel.
"Not fiddling with the school. Just Faith. We've had our eye on her for a long time. Certain contract she broke awhile ago."
Gunn wandered into the lobby, watching the scene unfold.
Logan
"She's a teacher at the school," Logan said, claws still out and shining.
"She's a gaurdian. Angel's daughter and mine...they share a mother. I wonder how well Ra...or Osiris, or any of them are going to take you interfering in their family member's lives overmuch. And I don't even know who Nyx's father was, so there could be some major bad feeling to come from that direction. Sometimes, it's not about contracts. Sometimes it's just about the blood you share."
Angel
"Ok, let's get something straight, Wolverine... Faith, she ain't family."
Eve laughed scornfully.
"She has none. Wait, take that back, abusive alcoholic mother. She has one family member. Well, then there's also the daughter we gave her when we had her kidnapped. But apart from that... she has no bond with Angel. All she has is her reliance on him."
Angel snarled.
"Which, by the way, Angel, you and Faith and you're weird sick reliance on each other... it's twisted. You're a vampire and she's a Slayer. Fill in the blanks."
Logan & Jubilee
"Blood spilt for each other, blood spilled in defense of each other, that's just as tight a bond if not tighter then the ones of family blood," Logan growled.
"I have no family that's blood related. I have *family* where I have spilt blood to protect."
Jubilee stepped up, her hands glowing and eyes stubborn.
"Wolvie and me, we *chose* our family. He saved me, I saved him. And he's *mine*, like no one else ever bothered for a smart mouthed slanty eyed mutie freak bitch. Mutant High, that's my family too. Faith is the pushy aunt I could do without, but she's still family cos the rest of my family wants her in it. You saying cos Ice ain't my blood brother, he still ain't my brother? You don't know family if you say he ain't. You say Wolvie ain't my dad and I ain't his kid even though we chose to be that for each other? You don't know family at all. We do. And Faith is one of ours. And she's Brood boy's too."
Angel
Eve laughed and shook her head.
"Well, if she's so precious, why is no one guarding her?"
Angel didn't even look back as she raced to the private service lift and jumped inside. It stopped at his apartment's level and he ran out, throwing open the door and breathing a sigh of relief, seeing Faith still there.
"I knew he'd fall for that... or was I not lying?" Eve said.
Logan & Jubilee
"Jubes," Logan said softly.
"Yo, Wolvie?"
"I think we need some light on this sitch."
"Gotcher."
Jubilee sent an enourmas paff at Eve, making it as bright as possible. Logan closed his eyes as he streaked up the stairs, tracking her by scent.
Angel, Airlia and Faith
Angel sighed in relief as he watched Faith sleep peacefully.
Airlia peeked up from where she'd curled up with her mother.
"Hi, Angel."
Eve ducked and then shimmered out, laugh echoing through the halls.
Logan & Jubilee
Logan halted and snarled his displeasure, before he started to curse in a low monotone. Jubilee came up beside him and put an arm around his waist, leaning against him as he let the claws retract back into his hands.
"Damn her."
"Hope she gets runs in all her stockings."
Logan shot Jubilee a quizzical look. The girl grinned.
"Trust me, something like that will annoy her more then anything we do."
Faith and Angel
Faith's eyes shot open and she let out a loud hacking cough, struggling to breathe as bright green lights twinkled around her.
Angel held onto her tightly.
"Faith? Faith?!"
Logan & Jubilee
Logan's head swivelled, then he took off. Jubilee ran after him, yellow coat flapping around her legs.
"Wolvie!"
Logan skidded into Angel's apartment, nose catching odd scents but one he knew and wished he didn't. Faith in pain and fear. He clenched his knuckles tightly.
"KHAOS!"
Khaos, Angel and Faith
Khaos appeared in an array of white lights, standing in front of Angel and Faith, facing Logan.
"Yes?"
Angel struggled to hold onto Faith as she writhed in pain, eyes fluttering in her head.
Logan & Jubilee
"You said the school would be protected," Logan began.
Jubilee looked around him, eyes wide at the sight of Khaos.
"That every one in it, you'd look after. For the sake of the two you'd taken for your own. So. Make this right. She's a guardian, give her back to us. Get our Slayer back."
Angel, Khaos and Faith
Angel looked at Khaos in desperation.
"Poros, please," he said softly.
Khaos turned and smiled at him slightly, then nodded at Logan.
"Very well, I do this as you ask."
Khaos flicked a hand.
"Stop this."
Faith immediately fell still, her breathing shallow.
"Liam, you should be wary of the Partners. They meant to take her soul."
Jubilee & Logan
"Wow, that was so cool!"
Logan put a hand on Jubilee, keeping her back. Jubilee sort of grinned and pouted at the same time.
"Can you stop them from doing it? Otherwise, I can ask Kanny to ask her folks."
Khaos, Airlia and Faith
"I can stop them," Khaos said.
Airlia felt it was safe to re-emerge from around the corner, and padded over to the bed. She hopped on and curled up against Faith again.
"I can... restore her memory, if you like," Khaos offered.
Logan & Jubilee
Logan nodded.
"Please."
Jubilee fidgeted. She'd said some nasty things to Faith, and about her, before...
Khaos and Faith
Khaos nodded and muttered a short incantation.
Faith's eyes opened again slowly, and she rubbed her head.
Airlia jumped into her lap.
"Mom!"
"Hey, baby girl."
Logan & Jubilee
Logan moved forward slowly, edging around Khaos. She smelt off to his senses, not quite right and not quite there. Made him uneasy.
"Darlin'?"
Jubilee folded her arms across her chest, feeling the usual frission of jealousy.
Khaos, Faith and Angel
Khaos disappeared in a puff of smoke.
Faith looked up and smiled slightly.
"Hi."
She looked down at her Valkyrie clothing.
"I hate being dead."
"Tell me about it," Angel said, grinning.
Logan
Logan sat down and hugged her, burying his head in her neck, breathing too steady to be anything but controlled.
"Missed ya."
Faith
"MIssed you too."
Faith kissed him gently, hugging him back, her breathing patterns returning to normal.
"So tell me, why is it that I'm the pawn in Angel's game?"
Logan
"Senior Partners meddling around," Logan said.
"You interfere in the way they want Angel to be."
Faith and Angel
"Interferer," Angel said.
"Vampire," Faith replied.
"Slayer."
"Brooder."
"Valkyrie."
"Mean!"
Logan
"And there's Brand," Logan continued.
"You can't tell me they wouldn't want their hands on that much power."
Faith and Angel
"And I'm taking great delight in the fact that Brand is made from some of me," Faith said, nodding.
"It's why he's hot."
Angel coughed, which sounded remarkable like 'whatever you reckon'.
Jubilee & Logan
"No, I think that just comes naturally. I think if he shows sign of wanting to dress in a male way of what you wear, we should be concerned," Jubilee said.
Logan stared at her and Jubilee stared back.
"Got a problem, old man?"
"Be polite, Jubes."
"I *am*. Just cos you want her accepted into this dusfunctional family unit doesn't mean I have to like it all the time. Or like her most of the time."
Faith and Angel
Faith ignored Jubilee, as she usually did and looked at Angel.
"So, mind me crashing here for a bit, Dark Avenger?"
Angel shook his head.
"Nah, feel free. Sleep in my bed. I'll sleep on the floor."
He nodded.
"It's getting harder to tell when you're sarcastic."
"I've been told that."
Logan
"Faith," Logan said quietly.
"*When* will you come back?"
Faith and Angel
Faith looked at Logan and smiled slightly.
"I'll be back... you could stay here, I'm just... not ready to go back to that life. I think..."
Angel got the hint and started to shoo everyone from the room.
Jubilee & Logan
Jubilee grumbled as she left, craning her head to look back at Logan. To release some of her frustrations, she made a tiny little explosive paff, zipped it around Angel and made it explode against the back of his head. She was all innocent eyes and face.
Logan sighed, trailing his fingers across his stomach.
"I have commitments, darlin'. Xavier took me in, and I owe him. I don't like to owe."
Faith
Faith nodded.
"I will come back... but I need... I hate to admit it, but maybe I need a Watcher part time for the moment. And I think it should be Wes."
Logan
"I don't have anything against him," Logan admitted.
"Knows how to handle himself as compared to a lot of bookworms I've known."
Faith
"It's just with Giles being AWOL, and... nothing against Xander, or Anya or Andrew... it's just... they're not properly trained. Giles said he'd help them with that, but I think they work better with the Potentials. I'm a Slayer at full strength, and I need a proper Watcher... just for a bit. I think the Valkyries did something... see, while I was in Valhalla..."
Faith took a deep breath.
"They were training me to be one of them. And to do that, I think they started to alter my DNA pattern, and I wanna know how this is gonna affect me. Angel's got the whole thing here... I mean, Wes can research Valkyries, and Fred can do that science stuff on me, to see what changed, and Angel can train me again, just for awhile."
She slid into his arms and kissed his neck.
"It's not that I don't want to go with you. I will be back at the mansion... I just want to know that there's nothing wrong with me now that I'm back."
Logan
Logan smoothed his hand over her hair gently.
"Alright. Just as long as you *do* come back...sometime. When you think you can."
Faith
Faith turned her face up for a kiss.
"I'll be back as soon as I know what's what."
Logan
Logan kissed her slowly.
"I've got to get back. Take Jubes back. Damn kid won't stay where she's meant to."
Faith
Faith chuckled slightly.
"Yeah... I need sleep anyway."
Logan
Logan kissed her again.
"Alright. Call me when you can."
Faith
Faith kissed him back.
"I will. Gonna miss me?"
Logan
"Course."
Logan stroked his thumb over her cheek, looking into her eyes.
Faith
Faith smiled at him, then kissed him again softly.
"I'll call. I don't think I'll be gone for too long anyway."
Logan
Logan smiled.
"Good."
He got up off the bed slowly.
"I better get back. Make sure the school's still standing. God knows Cyke is less then useless."
Faith
"Now now, blind hatred is starting to show," Faith teased.
She got up and hugged him tightly.
"I'll get Angel to get the Jet or... how did you get here?"
Logan
"It's not blind hatred, it's frustration," Logan said.
"Besides, who wants Jean when they could have you? Telepaths give me the creeps. I don't think I could handle being married to a woman who can read your mind, you dames are too good at it to begin with. We came with a teleporter, but I think Jubes may've broke her."
Faith and Angel
"I'm very flattered."
Faith poked her head out of the doorway.
"Hey Dark Avenger, could you get someone to take these two?"
Angel nodded and pressed a button on the intercom.
"Yes Boss?" Harmony chirped.
"Teleporter."
Within seconds, a teleporter appeared.
Logan
Logan kissed Faith goodbye.
"I'll call ya if I get a chance."
Faith and Angel
Faith kissed him back.
"Ok. I'll see ya soon."
Angel nodded his goodbye, holding Airlia.
Logan & Jubilee
Logan inclined his head slightly to Angel and put a hand on Jubilee's shoulder as she came in.
"We going?"
"Yeah. Bye."
Jubilee waved before the teleporter took them out.
Faith and Angel
Faith sighed slightly and then looked at Angel.
"You gonna buy me dinner?"
"Dressed like that? No."
"Fine, I'll get changed."
"I'll get cash."
