17 April 2004 - Lost inside my nightmare dreaming

Written by Tegan and Nessa

Octavian

The Friday night had ended how it often seemed to end, Bobby and him falling into whichever of their bedrooms was closest and having sex. It couldn't exactly be called making love per se, even if he loved Bobby there was no doubt in his mind that Bobby did not love him. Sometimes Bobby went and spent time with Julie, his nominal girlfriend or down in the medlabs with Hank.

Octavian had come, once or twice, on Bobby's insistence. He and Hank...he wanted what Bobby had with Hank with a certain sick jealousy, he knew it was sick. Just...friends. He didn't have many of either sex that were just that, friends. Not f*ck buddies, orgasm friends or whatever you wanted to call it. Nevertheless, he didn't feel comfortable intruding on Bobby's time with Hank. He felt like an intruder, out of place and disrupting the normal flow of their friend relationship. So, he made up excuses for why he wouldn't, couldn't go and watched Bobby look hurt for a flicker of a moment, then go off to be with Hank.

Sleepless for the moment, he ran his fingers over where Bobby's hand rested on his hip and sighed. He could feel Bobby's breath on the back of his neck as the other teen slept, and made a hopeless wish. Just that it could stay like this forever. Not changing. Just...this peace.

Octavian's eyes slowly slid closed and he fell asleep, into a darkness darker then the unlit spaces of Bobby's room.

"Quiet, Octavian..." Bryce's voice murmured next to his ear.

Why was he always so small in dreams? Dwarfed by his father, helpless. Overcome by a superior strength that should be used to protect, and never to harm. Never to be used the way his father used it.

"You don't want to wake your mother, do you?"

"N-n-no, Father."

A slap.

"Don't stutter."

"No, Father."

Octavian's hand flew to his reddened cheek, looking across the balcony rail to over the city. Where was this nightmare from? Oh yes. Somewhere in Essex. They'd been staying at an apartment in a large city...strangely small apartment for his family. Not really enough room. And his father had been continually frustrated by the servants, his sister and his mother. So, it came down to here. A balcony, raped against the cold metal railing, biting his lip while the tears slid down his face and his fingers clutched spasmodically at the white painted rail.

He heard his father's pants being unzipped and closed his eyes.

Octavian moaned in his sleep, head tossing faintly in protest. His fingers dug into the bedding as he started to sweat with fear.

Bobby

Bobby groaned slightly in his sleep as Octavian's head knocked against his.

"Huh?"

He opened his eyes and sat up, blinking the sleep from them as he tried to work out why he was awake.

Octavian

Octavian moaned again, lost inside his nightmare. A hand came weakly in front of his face, then fell back to the bed again.

"No..."

"You're a whore, Octavian," Bryce hissed in his ear.

"My whore. Oh, you can pretend to everyone else that you're not...and I'll help you, because it would be a disgrace for anyone else to discover what you are."

Octavian bit his lip so hard it bled to keep in his sounds of pain.

Bobby

Bobby yawned and then looked down at Octavian.

Hmmm, that probably wasn't normal.

He shook his shoulders firmly.

"Tav, wake up!"

Octavian

Octavian's eyes snapped open and he fell out of the bed, in his haste to get away. He was shaking so hard his teeth were chattering and sweat was pouring off him.

"NO! Oh god, no, no, no..."

Bobby

"Hey, Tav, it's just me," Bobby said, grabbing his boxers and putting them on.

"Are you ok?"

Octavian

Octavian gasped for breath, as a tear slipped down his face.

"Oh god..."

He put his face in his hands, shoulders shaking.

Bobby

Bobby got off the bed and kneeled down at Octavian's level, putting his hand on the other teen's shoulder.

"You wanna go see Hank?"

Octavian

Octavian flinched as Bobby touched him, then shook his head vehemently.

"No...it was just a nightmare..."

Bobby

Bobby moved his hand away quickly.

"Do you want to go back to your own room?"

Octavian

"No."

Octavian latched his arms around Bobby, shaking hard.

"God, I hate this...he's not even *here*..."

Bobby

Bobby helped Octavian back up onto the bed.

"Shhh," he said softly.

He didn't really know what to say.

Octavian

Octavian burrowed into Bobby's arms, shaking with anger and fear that was left from the nightmare.

"I'm sorry..."

Bobby

"Hey, it's no problem. Good thing you woke me up, or I'd have cum all over you."

Bobby chuckled.

"Sex dream. With you. And Julie. And strangely enough... Hank."

Octavian

"MMm..." Octavian said slowly.

"There is something about the fur, isn't there? So soft...very sensual, actually."

He just breathed in Bobby's scent for a few moments, letting the sound of Bobby's heart and his closeness calm him after the nightmare.

Bobby

"No, he wasn't in the sexual sense, he was just kinda... hanging around watching."

Bobby shrugged slightly.

"It was a little weird, but a good reminder for me. He owes me some twinkies."

Octavian

Octavian nodded slightly against Bobby's chest.

"Seriously though...does Hank have a significant other? Has he ever actually had one?"

Bobby

Bobby shrugged.

"I'm not really sure... Hank and I don't usually talk about that sorta thing."

Octavian

"Mmm..."

Octavian felt his shivers die away, finally.

"He should. He's a nice person."

Bobby

"I tell him, and he just kinda wipes his glasses."

Bobby chuckled.

"But he's great, I'd marry him if he'd have me."

Octavian

Octavian smiled slightly.

"I'd let him marry my sister."

He sighed.

"I should rescue Dem from our parents. By getting married...god, how dull."

Bobby

Bobby chuckled.

"Eh, marriage would have it's benefits. Someone to share the bills."

Octavian

"Not exactly a problem..." Octavian sighed.

He nuzzled at Bobby's neck.

"Why, are you planning to make it legally official with Julie?"

Bobby

"Nah, just thinking."

Bobby shrugged slightly.

Octavian

"Hmm."

Octavian kissed softly along Bobby's neck.

"I'm sorry for waking you up."

Bobby

Bobby yawned.

"Nah, it's ok."

Octavian

Octavian smiled faintly.

"I usually don't get them very often anymore...the flashbacks. And even less often when I'm sleeping with someone else."

Bobby

"It's ok."

Bobby wiped his eye slightly.

"Do you wanna go get some sleeping pills from Hank?"

Octavian

Octavian tensed slightly, breath coming faster for a moment.

"I don't like sleeping pills."

Bobby

"Sorry."

Bobby stretched.

"Well, it's like 5 anyway. We could just get up and harrass Jono."

Octavian

"True. Since he's often the only other one up at this time."

Octavian smiled faintly and licked his tounge quickly over Bobby's pierced nipple, since he was basically talking into Bobby's chest anyway.

Bobby

Bobby moaned softly.

"Tav... tired."

Octavian

"You're the one that wanted to leave the warm bed to annoy Jono," Octavian said.

He raised an eyebrow at Bobby.

Bobby

"Yeah well I'm sorta hungry as well."

Bobby nodded.

"I could go some cereal."

Octavian

"Odd man," Octavian murmured.

He stared at Bobby through lowered lashes, bottom lip jutting out slightly in an almost pout.

Bobby

Bobby kissed him briefly, then got up from his bed.

"I need some OJ too."

Octavian

"I need a shower," Octavian said, wrinkling his nose slightly.

"Catch you in a few?"

He got up fluidly.

Bobby and Faith

"Yeah."

Bobby put a shirt on, and headed to the kitchens, where he saw Faith nursing a cup of coffee.

"Rough night?"

"I've gotta stop drinking."

Octavian

Octavian showered, washing the fear sweat his nightmare had brought on off his body.

He hated being shown to be weak. Hated the nightmares.

Bobby and Faith

"Doesn't Logan stop you?" Bobby asked, pouring himself some juice.

"I think he secretly likes to see me off my face," Faith said, rubbing her head.

Octavian

Octavian crawled back into the bed, and laid his head on the pillow. He let himself cry silently for a few moments, then wiped his face clean.

Wonder where Bobby got to.

Bobby, Rebekah and Faith

"Hey, how come you and I never had sex?" Bobby asked suddenly.

"What? Whoa, it's way too early for that conversation."

Faith got up and smiled slightly.

"Wait till I'm feeling alive, then we'll talk that one over. Catch ya."

Bobby chuckled and then looked up at Rebekah walked in.

"Why you up early?"

"Don't know," she replied absently.

Nikolai

Nikolai sort of stumbled through the kitchen door, tripped and fell over heavily against one of the cupboards. He didn't drop his cigarette though, so he drew back on it, leaning against the cupboard.

"Bonne matin, jolie fille." (Good morning, pretty lady)

He glanced at Bobby through lowered lashes.

"Bonne matin, monsieur."

Rebekah and Bobby

"Bonjour," Rebekah replied sleepily.

She sipped from Bobby's OJ.

Bobby saluted.

"So where's broody Brit boy?"

Nikolai

The younger boy sighed slightly, rubbing one hand over his eyes. He got up unsteadily then went to the coffeemaker, getting himself a cup of coffee and just ladling sugar into it before drowning it in cream. He sipped it quietly, trying to understand the English.

Rebekah and Bobby

Rebekah shrugged.

"Playing guitar."

She yawned and got up.

"I need a shower."

Bobby nodded and watched her go, then refocused on his juice.

Nikolai

Nikolai sipped his coffee slowly, feeling the last drug induced fogginess slip away. His dark eyes were ringed with slightly smudged lines of kohl, his thin fingers clutching at the mug.

"So...I do no' zink we haf been introduced," he said in his quiet, almost gravelly husky voice.

Bobby

"I'm Bobby Drake."

Bobby looked at him and smiled slightly.

Nikolai

"Nikolai Draculae," the Romanian said, proferring a hand.

His nails were painted with a deep red nailpolish. Noticing Bobby's gaze, he preened slightly, body language altering to become more inviting.

Bobby

Bobby nodded slightly, and focused on his juice.

"I should go back to my room, I left Tav there."

Nikolai

"Ah, you know Tavvie?" Nikolai said in heavily accented English.

"Nice."

Bobby

"Yeah."

Bobby started out of the kitchen, then changed directions and headed for the showers.

Jonothon

Despite the form of Jonothon's mutation and the destruction of most inner organs, he still sweated. So, he needed to shower. He didn't like to shower when people could wander through and see exactly what had happened to him when his pyschic flares manifested and burnt through his body. Due to this, when he showered in the morning, he showered very early in the morning to cut down on the chance of someone seeing him sans bandages. Some people were around, like Logan. But Logan was insane by anyone's standards and most people didn't like to up at 5 in the morning without a lot of reason.

He coiled his bandages neatly after he took them off and placed them on a shelf before he got in the shower. Steam immediately arose as he ducked his head under the water and started to shampoo his hair.

Bobby

Bobby announced his presence to what he thought was an empty bathroom, by singing loudly as he peeled his clothes off.

"Rubber ducky, you're the one..."

Jonothon

Jonothon froze, eyes closed to keep soap suds out of his eyes as they dripped down his nose and into the cavity below it, hissing slightly.

Bloody. Buggering. Hell.

He rinsed his hair and reached for the conditioner. Get done, get out.

Bobby

"What about me?
It isn't fair
I've had enough now I want my share
Can't you see
I wanna live
But you just take more than you giveeeeeeeeeee!"

Bobby chuckled to himself, then noticed the pile of bandages on the chair.

"Jono?"

Jonothon

"Yer singing is bloody awful," Jonothon told him.

"Do you have a strangled cat in your throat or summat? And yeah, it's me."

He quickly started to wash his body.

Bobby

"Only a true friend could be that honest!" Bobby said, chuckling.

"I thought for a wonderful moment that Bek was in here, and that I'd get to see her tits."

Jonothon

"Nah, just me. How disappointing for yer."

Jonothon rubbed soap over the back of his neck, steam cascading from where the water was hitting his flares.

Bobby

"Not really, I get to see your balls this way," BObby answered seriously.

Jonothon

Jonothon froze, then turned off the shower and grabbed his towel.

"Right, going now."

Bobby

Bobby pouted, hopping into the shower.

"Come on, show me why Bek's happy!"

Jonothon

Jonothon's hands raised in front of him defensively as he turned around again, presenting Bobby with his back. The flares were starting to edge out further from his body.

"Bobby, clear orf!"

Bobby

"I need a shower too."

Bobby turned on the water in the shower and stepped under it.

"Come on, just flash me and run or something."

Jonothon

"Bobby!"

Jonothon's tone carried real distress with it. The amount of steam that came from the water hitting his flares increased.

Bobby

"Fine, fine."

Bobby turned the water off, and dried himself off, dressing again and leaving.

"I'm gone."

Jonothon

Jonothon made sure Bobby was gone, then was rewrapped and dressed in record time, still shaking.

Why was it so hard for people to understand that he was a monster? A corpse kept alive only through the wonders and versatility of the X-gene? That he didn't want to be seen without the cloaking influence of the bandages?

Bobby and Rebekah

Bobby came out of the bathroom, grumbling, when he ran into Rebekah.

"Your boyfriend kicked me out of the shower."

Rebekah rolled her eyes.

"Good, I hope he kicked you hard."

Bobby pouted and then left, thinking mean thoughts about her.

Rebekah shook her head and went into the bathroom.

"Jono, are you ok?"

Jonothon

Jonothon did up his shirt and shoved his feet into his boots.

"Fine."

Rebekah

"Bobby mentioned something about coming in here with you..."

Rebekah walked over and kissed his cheek.

Jonothon

"Why is it so bloody 'ard for everyone to understand I DON'T LIKE being seen wivvout me bandages?!"

Jonothon finished buckling his boots and stomped out, simmering with bitter rage.

Rebekah

Rebekah flinched as though she'd been slapped and then started to cry softly, running back to her own room.

Jonothon

Jonothon changed his mind and headed outside, fingers fumbling with his bandages to lower them slightly.

He went out, found a tree and started to shoot the branches off it. Sparks and flames flew, punctuated by bitter cursing.

Rebekah and Levi

Rebekah watched out her window as Jono went outside to abuse the tree. She sat on her bed next to a sleeping Levi, and keened into her hand softly.

Levi opened his eyes and looked at her, and without asking, he pulled her down next to him and rubbed her back.

"It's ok."

"Maybe," she said softly.

Jonothon

"BUGGERING BLOODY USELESS PIECE O' SHITE!"

Jonothon kicked a branch away from him, flames still a sullen angry red as it flickered around his bandages.

"Couldn't just bloody well sod off, could 'e? Oh BLOODY HELL NO!"

Rebekah and Levi

Rebekah blanched at what she could feel from Jono, and fell into Levi's arms, crying.

"It's ok, he's not angry at you," Levi soothed.

Jonothon & Logan

Jonothon finished blasting the poor innocent tree to pieces, bandages lowered down across his chest.

"You know...we have a Danger Room for this," Logan observed, stepping out of the woods.

"PISS ORF!"

Jonothon glared at Logan through his flames, looking demonic. Logan just chuckled slightly.

"Get ya ass back in the Danger Room, if ya in a bad mood."

That did it. Jonothon let his flares loose, sending Logan backwards in a gush of flame, a psionic scream of anger ringing through the school.

Rebekah

Rebekah sat up, and then rushed outside, screaming for Jono to stop.

"Jono!"

Logan & Jonothon

"Bek, get back!" Logan warned as he got to his feet, blackened skin peeling off his face to reveal fresh, new skin underneath.

Jonothon stepped back slightly, in shock.

"Don't yer get it?! I'm a monster! A walkin' corpse! I'm DEAD!"

Jonothon fled, flames still gouting out of his chest.

Rebekah

Without thinking, Rebekah headed after him, feet barely skimming the ground as she ran.

"Jono!"

Logan & Jonothon

"BEK!"

Logan ran after her as Jonothon turned, flames sprialling around him in a deadly maelstrom. The older mutant grabbed her by the waist and dived just as the sprial expanded upwards and outwards.

Jonothon ran again, boots thudding on the ground, sobbing telepathically.

Rebekah

Rebekah struggled under Logan's weight.

"I can't just let him go!" she protested.

Logan & Jonothon

"Ya don't have to, I'm stopping ya," Logan said grimly.

He got to his feet, still holding Bek firmly before he lifted her over his shoulder and pinned her there.

"One student hurt is enough. I'll go after him once I get ya to someone I know won't let ya go after him...and can stop ya."

Logan headed back to the mansion.

"Oh god, oh god...wot 'ave I done?" Jonothon demanded of himself hysterically as he ran deeper into the grounds of the school's estate.

He finally came up against a wall and stopped, dropping to the ground, lying on his back.

Rebekah

"But he'll think I don't care, Logan, I can't let him think he's still alone!"

Rebekah struggled against him in vain.

Logan

"He'll get over it," Logan said as he continued in doors.

"Faith?"

Rebekah and Faith

"He won't!" Rebekah protested.

Faith looked over at Logan and Rebekah, and laughed slightly.

"Kinky. Yeah, what's up?"

Logan

"Make sure she doesn't go anywhere," Logan said as he placed Bek on her feet in front of Faith.

"And I'm going to stop the Mummy Returns from setting fire to the school grounds."

Faith and Rebekah

Faith grabbed Rebekah's arm as the mutant tried to run again, and held her firmly in place.

"Sure, go ahead."

Faith dragged a protesting Rebekah away.

Logan & Jonothon

Logan followed the scent of burning to where Jonothon was lying, holding his bandages in one hand.

He threw the bandages at Jonothon's feet.

"Put them on."

Jonothon sat up and started to wind the bandages about himself, eyes haunted.

Faith and Rebekah

"Don't make me hurt you, kid," Faith said, holding Rebekah steady.

"He'll think I don't care," Rebekah replied again.

Jonothon & Logan

Jonothon and Logan trudged up to the mansion, the teen's shoulders hunched and Logan looking grim.

Jonothon wished he could die.

Faith and Rebekah

Faith turned and let Rebekah go.

"They're back."

Rebekah paused, then headed over to where she felt Jono.

"Jono?"

Jonothon

JOnothon turned his head slightly and looked at her, before continuing up to his room silently.

Angelo came racing down the stairs and grabbed his friend's arm.

"C'mon, vato."

He glanced at Rebekah and jerked his head for her to follow as he lead Jonothon away.

Rebekah

Rebekah followed them up to Jono's room and sat down next to him.

She looked at Angelo in confusion.

Jonothon

"When he first come to Emma, he was like this. Shuts himself off," Angelo explained rapidly.

Jonothon put his head in his hands, shoulders shaking.

"Vato...it's over, ok? You got your bandages back on, you're safe," Angelo soothed.

Rebekah

Rebekah rubbed Jono's back gently.

"It's ok," she said softly.

Jonothon

Jonothon flinched away from her.

"Ange...I can't...oh god..."

"Hey, calm down," Angelo soothed.

"It's just Bek."

"Ange, I could have killed 'er!"

Rebekah

Rebekah looked at Angelo, then at Jono.

"Jono, it's ok, I'm ok."

Jonothon

"Yer can't stay," Jonothon said descively, looking at her.

"Yer have ta go. I luv yer and I don't want to hurt yer and I'll end up doing it."

Rebekah

Rebekah looked hurt.

"But I don't..."

She shook her head and then left before he could see her cry.

Jonothon

"Better this way," JOnothon said to Angelo.

Who stared back at him disbelievingly.

"Oh, c'mon, Ange! I'd lose control one day, and I'd kill 'er. Or worse. Don't look at me like that!"

Rebekah and Bobby

Rebekah ran right into Bobby, and he dodged, narrowly avoiding being winded.

"Hey, what happened?" he asked, holding her steady and taking in her distraught appearance.

"I think... I think Jono just..." Rebekah burst into tears again.

Rebekah

Rebekah grinned.

"Well, seeing as he's not interested, Angelo, I can tell you the news."

Jonothon

"Stop it, Ange," Jonothon warned in a dangerous voice.

"You're being stupid," Angelo continued to insist.

"Bek loves you."

"And I love her! Which is why it's better if she's not around me!"

"That's bullshit and you know it."

Jonothon glared at Angelo and pointed to his door.

"Get out."

"Not going anywhere vato."

Rebekah and Bobby

Bobby led Rebekah back to his room.

"Hey Tav, look who I found."

Rebekah was still crying, wiping her eyes.

Octavian

"Mm?"

Octavian sat up in the bed and wiped his eyes clean of sleep with one hand.

"Hello, Bek. What's happened?"

Rebekah

"Jono just broke up with me."

Rebekah sat down on Bobby's bed and stared at her feet.

Octavian

"I can honestly say I didn't see that coming," Octavian said thoughtfully.

He moved across closer to her and hugged her carefully.

Rebekah

Rebekah hugged Octavian back, crying into his shoulder.

"God, it hurts..."

Octavian & Jonothon

Octavian stroked her hair lightly.

"Shh, Bek..."

"Sod off!"

Jonothon stomped down the stairs, Angelo following.

"You're being a coward, vato!"

"I bloody well said, SOD OFF!"

"So, you're just going to run?"

"At least she won't die! I could have KILLED her!"

"COWARD!"

"Go *away*, Ange."

Rebekah

Rebekah flinched, feeling Jono's anger.

"I can't just... I can't do this."

Octavian & Jonothon

"Shhh, shhh..." Octavian soothed.

"Ange, get away from me," JOnothon warned, heading out the door.

"So, you're going to throw this all away cos you got your pride nicked? Get over yourself, vato!"

"You don't have a clue what you're talking about."

JOnothon got on his bike and roared out the gates, hunched over the handlebars. Angelo swore in Spanish, then headed back inside.

Rebekah

"I guess he didn't love me," Rebekah said sadly.

She sniffed.

Octavian

"Stupid hard headed Cockney bastardo," Angelo swore as he walked back up to his room.

"I'm sure he did...still does," Octavian said.

Rebekah

"Merci for saying, Octavian."

Rebekah stood up.

"I'm going to go to my room."

She left quickly, and collapsed onto her bed next to a still heavily sleeping Levi. She pulled another blanket over her and turned away from him, still crying.

Octavian

"Jonothon is an idiot," Octavian observed to Bobby.

"What happened? I was asleep while the earth shook to commerate Jonothon and Rebekah breaking up."

Bobby

"Well, I went to have a shower, and Jono was in there, and then I think I got him riled up... but I'm not sure why he broke up with Bek."

Bobby scratched his head.

"It's a little odd, I mean, I thought that was going really well."

Octavian

"Maybe they just got their wires crossed," Octavian suggested.

He shifted slightly in the bed, sheets which he'd drawn up for Bek's sake dropping lower.

"I'm sure it will all be sorted out once Jono finishes his temper tantrum."

Bobby

"Or it'll clear the path for us to chop in with Bek!"

Bobby chuckled.

Octavian

"Quite," Octavian drawled.

"She'll need a lot of condoling. Although...Angelo might move in."

Bobby

"What's Angelo got to do with the price of fish?"

Bobby looked confused.

Octavian

"You haven't noticed?"

Octavian laughed and kissed Bobby fondly.

"You're very unobservant at times."

Bobby

"Noticed what?"

Bobby looked confused.

"I'm so out of the loop!"

Octavian

"Sweet, innocent Bobby," Octavian cooed at him.

"I'm sure it will all come out in a bright loud annoucment, sooner or later, for your edification."

Bobby

"Does Angelo like Bek?"

Bobby chuckled.

"Really?"

Octavian

"Who doesn't like Bek?" Octavian asked rhetorically.

"Yes, he does. But it's all become slightly strange after Jono's birthday. Which really does make me wonder what *we* did."

Bobby

"You mean the cynical British 'look at Bek in the wrong way and I'll kill you' Jono may have had a threesome with his best friend and Bek?"

Bobby laughed.

"They're worse than us."

Octavian

"OPen your mind to the possibilities," Octavian murmured.

"Wouldn't JOno be pretty as a bottom?"

Bobby

Bobby laughed.

"Yeah, and hey, if he's relaxed on that standard, maybe I can get a leg over Bek. Again."

Octavian

"Ah, but you see, he trusts Angelo..." Octavian said.

"He doesn't trust us. With very good reason."

Bobby

"Does he know? I mean, telepath. For that reason, does Bek know?"

Bobby looked puzzled, as the mere force of more than one thought was in his head.

Octavian

"Probably," Octavian said cheerfully.

"Which will make the fireworks interesting to watch. But Jono and Angelo...they're very. Very good friends."

Bobby

"Yeah, I don't think anything will happen with it."

Bobby shrugged.

"But it would be fun to watch."

Octavian

"Jonothon will get over whatever got him in such a foul snit, come back, beg Bek's forgiveness and everything will be alright again," Octavian said.

He stretched slightly.

"What are we doing today?"

Bobby, Rebekah and Levi

"Dunno, Hank and I have a twinkie date, but that's not until tonight. I'm gonna take him down some food, seeing as he hardly ever emerges from work."

Bobby shrugged slightly.

Levi stirred and noticed Rebekah.

"You ok?"

"I don't know."

Levi reached over and held her hand, and they lay in silence.

Octavian

"Hank is neglectful of himself," Octavian noted.

He lay back down in the bed, arms behind his head as he stared up at the ceiling.

Bobby

"He does tend to be, yeah."

Bobby yawned and then looked around his room.

Octavian

"Why don't you come back to bed?" Octavian suggested.

"I did wake you up from your beauty sleep. Which you need so desperately."

Bobby

"I'm hot as."

Bobby hopped back into his bed and pulled a blanket around him, yawning.

Octavian

"Mmm...but I can't tell you that too often. You'll get conceited," Octavian said, cuddling closer happily.

"I like this."

Bobby

"You like what? Me being tired and close to passing out? The smell of my silky hair? The comfortable-ness of my mattress?"

Bobby grinned faintly.

Octavian

"This...just being quiet," Octavian said, closing his eyes sleepily.

"Not many people like to cuddle with their one night stands, you know. I like to cuddle, a lot."

Bobby

"Well, we're not exactly just having one night," Bobby pointed out.

He rolled over onto his stomach and put his hands under his pillow, yawning.

Octavian

One blue eye slid open slightly, then closed again.

"Indeed."

Bobby

"Reckon Jono will forgive Bek? Coz if not, you should chop."

Bobby yawned again.

Octavian

"Mmmm..."

Octavian turned towards Bobby, putting one hand on the other teen's chest.

"Maybe I don't want to."

Bobby

"Hmmm."

Bobby rolled over again and closed his eyes.

"Night... or morning."

Octavian

"Yes."

Octavian kissed the back of Bobby's neck.

Bobby

Bobby smiled faintly before falling asleep.

Octavian

Octavian closed his eyes, trusting that his sleep this time would not be troubled by nightmares.
