Heath & Elizabette
Heath followed Elizabette as she walked into Wolfram & Hart, LA branch.
"How interesting," Elizabette commented as she regally surveyed the foyer.
"My Sire is now the CEO of one of the most prestigious lawfirms."
Heath rolled his eyes slightly.
"But ensouled now, you said."
"Yes, true..." Elizabette mused.
"But...I am a client."
"That will mean what?"
"Well, he can't start hacking and burning through the client lists, he'll have no business. And I'm one of the top clients at Wolfram & Hart."
Harmony
Harmony looked up from her desk, smiling cheerfully.
"Miss Dashwood, how nice to see you again. Did you have an appointment?"
Heath, Wesley & Elizabette
"Yes," Elizabette said.
"I'm Angel's 10 o'clock. I needed to discuss exactly how the LA branch will continue to handle my business."
Heath nodded slightly at Harmony, eyes flicking over her form.
"Good lord," Wesley said faintly as he came out of Angel's office.
"Oh, look. Hi Wes," Heath said.
Angel
Harmony pressed the buzzer.
"Angel, your 10 o'clock is here, shall I show her in?"
Angel looked up from the papers he'd been reading over.
"Yes, thank you Harmony. Oh and Harmony, could I get some more blood?"
"Right away Boss."
Harmony smiled at Elizabette and Heath.
"You can go in."
Heath, Wesley & Elizabette
Heath chuckled slightly at Wesley as Elizabette swept passed him, impeccable designer dress both business like and seductive at the same time flaring around her fine ankles. Her feet were encased in sandals with high heels and straps, the leather a deep cherry red. Her dress was the same shade, and she wore a very restrained amount of diamonds in gold settings as jewellery. Heath stalked after her, dark hair falling across his eyes, dressed in black leather and silks.
"Close your mouth, Wes," Heath advised as he moved fluidly in Elizabette's wake.
Wesley polished his glasses, then headed off to his own office.
"Hello, Sire," Elizabette purred as she walked into Angel's office.
"Let's go straight to business, shall we? I need to set up some accounts in my Childe's names, complete with alternate identities."
Angel
"Well, I can look into it, but that's more Gunn's department, not mine."
Eve appeared in the doorway and she walked over to Elizabette.
"Elizabette, how nice to see you again."
Angel rolled his eyes.
Heath & Elizabette
"Eve, I didn't know you'd been assigned here," Elizabette said, shaking the other woman's hand.
"How have you been?"
Heath padded over to examine some of the decorations on the wall, in particular the weaponry.
Angel
Angel set his pen down on the table.
"I've been great, and yourself?" Eve asked.
Heath & Elizabette
"Frustrated," Elizabette admitted.
"But I am glad to see that things here will not change overmuch."
"Well, they wouldn't," Heath said softly, turning to look at Angel.
"Angel is as much Angelus, as the demon is the soul."
Angel and Gunn
Angel ignored Heath and buzzed Harmony.
"Could you get Gunn, please Harmony?"
"Sure thing, Boss," she replied happily.
Gunn walked into the office moments later.
"What's up?"
Heath & Elizabette
"Besides the items for my Childe," Elizabette said.
"Wolfram and Hart have been my major suppliers for several arcane ingredients of a difficult nature to obtain. Will that change?"
"Gunn...in a suit," Heath noted.
"Should I buy iceskates for my time in hell?"
Angel and Gunn
"That's right, Charles has the book smarts now," Eve said, smiling, perching herself on the side of Angel's desk and flashing him a smile.
Angel rolled his eyes as she turned away from him.
"Nothing's going to change too much," Gunn said to Elizabette.
"Of course, we are weeding out elements of this firm's policies, but I think you will be safe."
Heath & Elizabette
Heath just glared at Angel, arms crossed.
"Most of the items I think you would have trouble with, I can obtain for myself," Elizabette said dryly.
"Besides that...I have a minor communication problem with a Ky'th'zi clan. Heath!"
Heath rolled his eyes, then handed Gunn a sheaf of legal documents.
"They signed an agreement, I provided my services...and now they're trying to get out of paying. I would kill them, but they're very well connected with people I prefer to have happy with me."
Gunn
Gunn scanned over the paper and nodded.
"Need be, we can take them to court over this. But first I'll try negotiating, we have some contacts over there. And you'll get your payment."
Elizabette
"Very good," Elizabette said.
"But that is what I pay this firm for."
She looked at Angel.
"How, exactly, did you end up as CEO? I thought with soul, you would be mostly about the good, not the evil. And Wolfram and Hart are evil, that's why I use them. Evil lawyers are generally better then the ones who think nobly."
Angel
"Saved the world, given LA branch of Wolfram and Hart to use as I see fit. And we're taking ot a lot of the evil departments," Angel answered, eyes going back to skim the files Fred had given him earlier.
"We've got to talk to her about the budget," he muttered.
Heath & Elizabette
"Of course," Elizabette said.
"I am a stockholder, minor it is true, but I would prefer not to see my stock go down."
"Oh, Fredddddd, cute little Fred," Heath said.
He grinned nastily.
"Reminds me of Soph."
Gunn and Angel
Gunn settled himself down in an armchair, still studying the documents.
Angel nodded.
"Well, we're trying to stay afloat. Which we'd be doing if Fred's department was't just spending more money than it made."
Heath & Elizabette
"She'd be in research, right?" Heath said.
"Historically, research always pays off."
Elizabette nodded slightly.
"What is she doing, exactly?"
Angel
Angel shook his head.
"Sort of. She's head of the Science Department."
Heath & Elizabette
"Aw, little Fred's all grown up with a proper job," Heath said sarcastically.
He prowled across the room, exuding menace.
"What is she developing?" Elizabette asked.
"I know what I can;t scent," Heath said suddenly.
He turned and looked at Angel.
"So, did you kill the miracle child before you get repansyfied, or after?"
Gunn and Angel
Gunn looked at Angel and sighed slightly.
Angel shook his head.
"I sent him to a better life."
Eve nodded.
"He has a chance now, and I must say, he's doing quite well."
Angel snarled at Eve.
Heath & Elizabette
"Temper, temper," Heath scolded.
Elizabette slapped him, clawing five bright scarlet lines across his cheek. Heath's head turned with the force of it, the sound echoing through the room.
"Behave!" Elizabette hissed at him, eyes glittering gold.
Heath's tongue darted up to taste a drop of blood that dripped from his already healed wounds, and said nothing, looking sullen.
"How is the business going then, Sire?"
Angel
"It's going quite well, we're all... well, most of us are doing well," Angel said.
"Fred's still over spending, but you know."
Heath & Elizabette
"That's good, that mostly everything is alright," Elizabette said.
"Except for that minor matter of Fred's overspending."
Heath wiped the blood off his cheek, then licked at his fingers.
Angel and Gunn
Angel nodded and straightened his desk slightly.
Gunn glanced at his watch.
"Damn, I've gotta be in court in a few minutes. Look, Elizabette, I'll look over your papers tonight, and I'll get in contact with you as soon as possible, ok?"
Heath & Elizabette
Elizabette nodded.
"That would be prefectly fine, Gunn."
Heath glanced at Eve from the corner of his eye, wondering exactly how she fit in with all this.
"So, Eve, how did you manage to end up liason here? We really must meet for lunch and talk," Elizabette said.
Angel and Gunn
Angel looked up as Harmony came in and handed him some files.
"Thanks, Harmony."
"No problem."
Gunn nodded at Elizabette and then left the office.
Eve shrugged and leaned against Angel's desk.
"Mmm, I was just approached by the Senior Partners, while they were rebuilding. And yeah, we should get together soon."
Heath & Elizabette
Hetah leaned against a wall, looking bored, though managing to check out Harmoney's ass as she walked by him.
Elizabette chuckled.
"I would wager we have a lot to catch up on. So. My next question is, who undid my work and gave my Sire a soul again?"
Eve
"Oh she's a very powerful Wiccan. We were thinking of recruiting her ourselves, actually," Eve cut in before Angel could speak.
"But at any rate, Angelus is far too... he would run this law firm into the ground, whereas, we don't really want that."
Heath & Elizabette
"Sounds tasty," Heath drawled in his heavy Australian accent.
"But there is something to be said for Angelus..." Elizabette said.
Angel
Angel sipped at his coffee thoughtfully.
Eve nodded.
"Mmm yes, many a good encounter with Angelus."
Angel growled softly.
Heath & Elizabette
"There's that thing...with the tongue..." ELizabette said with a slightly obscene movement of her fingers.
"And hunting is always fun as well."
Heath growled softly in jealousy.
Angel
Angel tactfully looked out the window.
Eve nodded.
"Well, we'll have to do lunch, and I really hate to break this up, but Angel, you have another appointment."
Heath & Elizabette
"I see," Elizabette said softly.
"Well, get your people to call me, Eve and we'll do lunch. I'll eat the staff, and you can eat...human food."
Evil look in her eyes, she leaned across Angel's desk and brushed her lips across his cheek.
"Harmony I'm sure has my contact number. Ciao, Eve, Angel. Come, Heath."
She swayed out of the office, hips moving seductively underneath the clinging red silk and Heath stalked after her.
Angel
Eve nodded and then left Angel's office.
Angel rolled his eyes and went back to work.
