Rebekah and Millsy

Rove looked briefly at his palmcards, then back at the camera.

"Our next two guests were finalists on the first Australian Idol show, and have both recently announced they're going on tour together. Please welcome back, Rebekah LaVauney and Robert Millsy Mills!"

The audience clapped and Rebekah and Millsy came out the doors, grinning and laughing together. They went up to the stage and greeted Rove, before sitting down.

"So, welcome back," Rove said, sitting down in his armchair.

"It's great to see you again. You both look fantastic."

"It's really awesome to be back," Millsy replied.

"Thank you," Rebekah said, blushing slightly.

"Hey Jelly Beans!" Millsy exclaimed, grabbing a few.

"Firstly, can I just ask, did you guys keep in contact after the whole Australian Idol thing was over?"

Rebekah tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Um... yeah, a little," she said.

"Yeah, not that much," Millsy agreed.

"So, what happened, like after the tour, you just went, you know, see ya later?" Rove asked.

Rebekah laughed.

"Actually, yeah. After the whole tour ended, we did some partying, then I went back to France to see my family... and then... I moved to New York, to try and get some work over there..."

"And I sat around, doing nothing. Oh wait, I got my eyebrow pierced," Millsy grinned.

"How productive," Rove joked.

"So then... Rob, you were approached by Dicko, not long after."

"That is correct."

"And Rebekah, how did that come about for you?"

"Well, um, Levi actually came to visit me, in New York, and this was just before my birthday, then... I had a party, and invited all the other idols, and... yeah... Dicko came along to tell me that BMG had decided to sign me on."

"That must've been amazing."

"It was, it came as such a shock as well, and I think my heart stopped beating for a second."

"That was because she saw me, not because of the record deal," Millsy said, laughing.

"Oh yeah, for sure," Rebekah replied, rolling her eyes.

"So you're recording the album now?" Rove questioned.

"I'm putting the finishing touches on it now. I've been recording pretty steadily - "

"In New York?" Rove interrupted.

"No, in Australia... in Melbourne actually. And it should be finished... just after Easter."

"Whoa, that's quick. Mine took ages," Millsy said.

"But then I was co-writing with everyone."

"And you're not, Bek?"

"Oh, no, I did some co-writing. I wrote with John Foreman, who I love, he's such an amazing musician... I wrote with Tim Watson, and then I wrote some myself."

"And I read you wrote some with your boyfriend?" Rove said.

"Yes, I co-wrote some with my boyfriend, Jono, and he worked out a lot of the guitar and bass for the songs too."

"Musician as well?"

"Yeah, he's an amazing musician, and it was a lot of fun working with him, and he did a great job."

"But you're a bit biased," Rove joked.

"True."

"So you guys are going on tour together, what can we expect to see in that?"

"Nudity," Millsy answered seriously, although he was grinning cheekily.

"Nah, um... oh what can they expect, Bek?"

"Um... they can expect to see some of the other idols paying visits. Levi will be joining us, and so will Kelly, they'll be dropping in for a bit, um... we are stealing John Foreman away for this tour."

Rebekah pulled her top up a bit.

"You can expect just to have fun, and to lose your voice, because we are insecure and need a lot of yelling," Millsy announced.

"And how long and where is this happening?"

"We start in Newcastle, then go to Sydney, I think we're doing a couple of shows in Sydney, then... we're going to Brisbane, Perth, even Hobart."

"And then we're finishing up in Melbourne," Rebekah finished.

"This is starting... hmm... the end of this month. So the 30th of April is the first show in Newcastle," Millsy said.

"Well, it's great to see you two again, and I hope you guys have a great time on tour... and you're both coming back to sing for us?"

"Yeah," they said in unison.

"Great, is there anything else you want to plug before you go?"

"My album comes out on Monday, so buy it guys... or else," Millsy said, nodding at the audience.

"And mine comes out, hopefully on the 20th, and it'll be really good, so please get it," Rebekah replied.

"You heard it here first everyone. Now, after the break, funny man Wil Anderson, and then... Rebekah and Millsy are back. Stay tuned."

"Please welcome back to the stage, Rebekah and Millsy!"

Rebekah and Millsy were standing in the band area, at different mikes, smiling at each other.

"She calls out to the man on the street
"Sir, can you help me?
It's cold and I've nowhere to sleep,
Is there somewhere you can tell me?", yeah

He walks on, doesn't look back
He pretends he can't hear her
Starts to whistle as he crosses the street
Seems embarrassed to be there..."
Rebekah sang.

They sang together.

"Oh think twice, cuz it's another day for
You and me in paradise
Oh think twice, it's just another day for you,
You and me in paradise..."

"She calls out to the man on the street
He can see she's been crying, yeah
She's got blisters on the soles of her feet
She can't walk but she's trying..."
Millsy went.

They repeated the chorus together a few times, their voices threading together in harmony.

"Oh lord, is there nothing more anybody can do?
Oh lord, there must be something you can say..."

"You can tell from the lines on her face
You can see that she's been there, yeah..."
Rebekah sang.

"She's probably even been moved on from every place
Cuz she didn't fit in there..."
sang Millsy.

They sang the chorus together again.

"Because it's another day for you and me
In paradise..."

They bowed as the applause started.
