Heath
Heath paced his room, twitching uneasily. Angelus...
He paused, listened, then returned to pacing. Now afraid...like he hadn't been since he'd been turned. He'd seen what Angelus could do now, and now that Elizabette had basically withdrawn her protection, it could happen to him.
He'd keep his mouth shut, his head down and stay as far away from the bastard as possible.
And next time...
Next time Angelus tried something like that, Heath was going to gut him like a fish and run for it. He was quickly figuring out where Angelus's weak spots where...or what Angelus chose to present to the world as weak spots...Disconcerting thought.
He grabbed his coat off the chair and disappeared out of the hotel in a swirl of leather and bad attitude. Maybe he could relax a little once he'd hunted. Find some vampires he could practise on...or humans, or whatever happened to cross his path. Train up. Get some more muscle, a bit more practiced with this new body he found himself in. Angelus had experience with what exactly his body could do. Heath was still working on that.
Next time, it would be different.
