24 February 2004 - Saying Goodbye

Sheldon

Sheldon stood among his foster siblings as they looked down on the coffin and the priest spoke.

He may not have liked the guy, but dying was something he never took kindly. A lot like Taylor - a view mainly aquired by their power.

He felt like hugging his youngest foster sister and telling her everything was alright, but he didn't want to move. He'd half expected some of the Hansons to show up, considering what Taylor was asking about it, but he maintained that they had a schedule these days.

"Look!" came a sudden exclamation.

Feeling a little disturbed, most people turned their eyes to the sky.

"Oh my gosh!"

"Isn't it lovely?"

"Taylor you dumbass," Sheldon muttered under his breath, but he was smiling.

A white dove flew slowly towards the gravesite, a piece of holly in its beak. It hovered above the coffin for a moment, before landing on the edge and dropping the holly into the flower decoration.

Regarding the people for a moment, it soon spotted Sheldon.

"Thankyou," he cooed in dove.

"You're welcome," the dove replied, then launched itself into the air again and flew away.
