22 Febuary 2004 - Tournament Day 3

Written by Michelle

Tanya, Leroy and Oliver

"What are you doing today?" Leroy asked.

"Preparing for the Ga'Revali tournament," Tanya answered.

"But that's hours away."

"Your point?"

"At least spend the morning enjoying the tournament. We only have these once a year."

"Which is why I have to -"

"You work too hard. You should relax every now and then. I insist."

"And I agree!" Oliver said.

"You're all conspiring against me."

Bob and Clint

Bob and Clint Moffatt walked by.

"Hey Oli," Clint said, as his twin gripped his shoulder tightly and glared at Tate. "Dude, get over it," he said.

"SHe just unsettles me," Bob said.

Tate, Oliver and Leroy

"Well, sucks to you!" Tate said cheerfully.

Oliver grinned.

"Be nice, Tate."

"But, but why?"

"Because, I said so."

"But I dun wanna," Tate beamed. "So there."

"Tate's been learning some control," Leroy explained.

Moffatts

"I'd suggest we lock these two in a room together," Clint said, gesturing to Bob and Tate, "But I'd rather not have to clean up the body parts." Bob stuck his tongue out at Clint. "Also, trying to influence him to BE NICE, but after 20 years, he's learned to ignore me."

Nathan and Lindsey

Nathan walked up to the door of Lindsey's apartment and knocked. RK curled around the Seer's ankles, blinking upwards placidly. Lindsey opened the door and grimaced slightly.

"Why are you here?"

"If you're going to do your job properly, you need to know some things. And some people. But we'll settle with the knowing of what else is in the world first."

Before Lindsey had a chance to say anything, RK reached out and twisted the fabric of reality, landing them inside the tournament grounds. Lindsey stumbled for a second, looking a bit green, then recovered.

"Where the HELL have you taken me?"

"A fun day at the fair. Well, tournament. Welcome to yet another flipside. Most of these people around you? They're aliens."

Nathan started to walk, hands in his pockets. RK stalked along after him.

"Excuse me but what?!"

"Aliens," Nathan repeated.

"You know of vampires and demons, and you're balking at a few aliens? Lose the sceptism, Missouri man."

Lindsey hurried after Nathan, not willing to lose what might be his only way home.

"Such a good trick."

"Well, you may be the only one to think so, cat," Nathan said.

"It is an *excellent* trick. I'm quite proud of myself. Besides, what was he going to do all day besides mope in his apartment? Not much. He really doesn't have anything to do."

"You may have a point there."

Lindsey shook his head as he trailed after them, trying not to look too out of place.

Tate

"Well, locking us in a room together wouldn't work so well," Tate pointed out. "Even though we can't infulence each other, we would have still been under the influence of the last person we were with. Very easy for me to shape shift my way out. Or for Bob to kinesis his way out."

Lindsey & Nathan

"So, you're telling me all these people are aliens?" Lindsey hissed at Nathan.

The thin man nodded.

"More or less. Some are half and halfs...there are some humans floating around the place."

"You can tell that?"

"What I am, is Seeing. Seeing the truth and seeing the actual relaity that is there. I see behind the Maya and believe me, Brahmam is laughing."

"I always told him that it's not polite to make fun of the mortals."

"Yes, but you have cattish manners."

"You're talking to the *cat*?"

"He makes more sense then you do."

Moffatts

"I'd suggest we leave them alone to shag themselves silly," Dave said as he snuck up on his triplets. Bob fwapped his brother upside the head.

"So, Oli," Clint asked, "What's going on in your life?"

Tate and Oliver

"Eww, no thanks," Tate replied, turning up her nose.

Oliver shrugged.

"Not much."
