Zac
Zac arrived at the house that he and Faith had bought. Their furniture, both new and old, was still being moved in and sorted.
"Hi Faithy!" He greeted, walking in the door. "I'm home!"
He grinned, thinking how cool it was to be able to say that. He had just been packing up the last of his things from home.
Faith
Faith was in the process of moving their couch around, carrying it all over the lounge room.
"Hey. Good, now you can help me."
Zac
Zac grinned.
"Yes, yes I can," he replied. "Just give me a minute for me to move Saku's scratching post to his room."
"Yay!" Saku cheered.
Faith
"Exploiting my strength."
Faith shook her head.
"Hurry, I'm sweating here."
Zac
Zac chuckled.
"Won't be long," he promised.
He hauled the scrathing post up to Saku's room (which was no mean feat consideing how huge it was) and then trotted back down the stairs to Faith.
Faith
"About time," Faith mock grumbled.
She nodded at the other end of the couch.
"Be useful, Hanson, and lift."
Zac
Zac grinned and picked up his end of the couch, and lifted in sync with Faith.
"So, maybe I should have asked before we picked it up... but where are we carrying it?"
Faith
Faith indicated to a bare space in the room.
"There. And then we have to set Brand's bed up. By we, I mean you. I'm going to fix my gym up."
Zac
"Okay," Zac agreed.
Together they moved the couch over, then Zac decided to chrisen it by lying down on it.
"Ahhh," he sighed. "Hey you."
He reached over and grabbed her arm.
Brand
"Not in front of me!" Brand declared.
"I forbid it!"
Faith
"Yes, not in front of Brand, you lazy, lazy bastard."
Faith paused, then hoisted Zac over her shoulder and trotted out to the backyard, where she threw him in the pool.
Zac
Zac surfaced, shook his head and then twisted around so he could see Faith.
"Again!" he shouted childishly.
Brand
"He acts like he's younger then me," Brand sniffed.
"Why do you put up with this guy? I mean, *c'mon* Faith."
Faith
"Because for some strange reason, I love him."
Faith ruffled Brand's hair.
"I suppose I'll go move the stuff into your room."
Zac
Zac hoisted himself out of the pool.
"Yes," he said. "Because I have to dry off now that I'm all wet. And who's fault is that?"
He grinned at Faith.
Brand
"Oh, it's not Faith;s fault you're a pain," Brand said.
"Need a hand, Faith?"
Faith
"Yeah, that'd be nice, thanks Brand."
Faith grinned at Zac.
"Get changed, you."
Zac
"Okay. Will you help?" Zac said, batting his eyes.
He closed the distance between them and put his arms around her waist.
Brand
"I said not in front of me!" Brand exclaimed.
"You need to train him, Faith."
Faith
Faith pushed Zac back in the pool.
"Bad Zac. Now I'm all wet. In a non gross way."
Zac
Zac surfaced again and leant against the side of the pool.
"You're a spoilsport Brand," he complained. "And as for you, Faithy! Happy Valentines Day!"
He beamed. With all the moving excitement he nearly forgot.
Brand
"I am not a spoilsport," Brand said.
"I just don't want to watch you two make out. It's icky."
He nodded firmly.
Faith
"Happy Valentine's Day to you too, Zachary."
Faith started back into the house.
"You two, stop bickering, or one of you is gonna get punched out."
Zac
Zac got out of the pool (again) and hurried after Faith.
"Thank you my love, my beautiful one," he said dramatically. "If you punch out Brand, he wouldn't be conscious enough to know that -"
Brand
"Oh, be quiet, Zac," Brand said.
"I'm her sacred duty to protect. You're just her bedmate. Ner!"
He ran into the house and up to his room.
"C'mon, Faith, I want to get all my stuff unpacked. Wow! My lighter! Fantastic!"
Faith
"Don't you have anything else?"
Faith followed him into the room and looked around.
"We got you a bed, a desk, bookshelves, yada yada..."
Zac
"What use is a lighter, if you have nothing to burn?" Zac joked.
He paused, watching Faith. He loved watching her. Good thing they were engaged else he could get in trouble.
Brand
"I have...a lighter!"
Brand brandished it and flicked the flame on.
"Fire. Pretty."
Faith
"Why don't we go shopping later and get you clothes and such."
Faith watched him with the lighter, then made a mental note to get the Halliwells to fire proof the house.
Zac
"And then," Zac went on, "we can ditch Brand and have a nice romantic dinner."
He batted his eyes at Faith, not much caring that he was still dripping.
Brand
"You're a pain," Brand told Zac, then turned to Faith.
"He's a pain. Faith, can I drown him in the pool?"
Faith
"No."
Faith shook her head.
"Ok, here's the plan... Zac, you and I will go out for dinner tonight, but Brand, I don't want to leave you alone again. So, why don't you go to the Manor, and hang out with Paige."
Zac
"Yay!" Zac beamed. "Say do you think they would mind taking care of Saku and Airlia as well? That way it can be just the two of us."
Just the two of us. Just the way he liked it.
Brand
"Paaaaaaaaiiiiiiin," Brand intoned, pointing at Zac.
"But if it makes you happy, Faith. It'll be five by five with me. Yeah. Um. Setting up my room now? Well, the furniture seeing as I have nothing to put in the room besides my trusty lighter. Fire, pretty."
Faith
"Yeah, sure. I'll give them a call later."
Faith looked around the room.
"Where did you want all your furniture to go? Or just kinda... anywhere?"
Zac
"Okay, well, while you two are sorting this," Zac said. "I'm gonna go get changed."
He started walking down the hallway and grinned when he noticed that Saku was already playing with his scratching post.
Brand
"I don't mind," Brand said.
"As long as everything fits."
Soon, they had the room set out and all the furniture set up.
"Thanks, Faith."
Faith
"No problem."
Faith sketched a salute and headed for her half assembled gym.
"I'm gonna do some training, did you want to start that again?"
Zac
Zac dried himself off and almost got changed when he thought it would be loads more fun to walk around the house in nothing but his towel. And besides, it would annoy Brand. And hopefully have the... opposite affect on Faith.
Thus with but a towel wrapped around his waist, he made his way down to the gym.
Brand
"Sounds five by five to me," Brand said.
"You know, didn't work so well last time but I'm willing to try agian."
They entered the gym.
Faith
Faith pointed at the smaller punching bag.
"There's some gloves in that cupboard."
She taped her hands up and went over to the bigger punching bag.
Zac
"Heyas," Zac greeted, joining them.
He looked around the not quite finished gym.
"Doing some more unpacking? Or working out? Looks like the latter to me."
Brand
"You have no room to talk," Brand said.
"You didn't help do my room. Faith and me did that all by ourselves, lazy. Meh!"
He stuck his tongue out at Zac and then started punching the punching bag.
"And put some clothes on please. I'm pretty sure I'm straight."
Faith
Faith looked up and smiled at Zac, then got back to training.
"When's the nanny coming?"
Zac
"I did Saku's room all by my lonesone, so don't you comment," Zac retorted. "Nanny is coming... March 1, I believe."
He sat down on a box.
Brand
"Close your legs! Bleah!"
Brand put his hands over his eyes and dropped to the ground, moaning in pretend agony.
"My god, the horror, my eyes! My eyes, you bastard, my eyes!"
Faith
"I happen to like that view... however, I'm not a fifteen year old boy."
Faith roundhouse kicked and then went back to punching, beads of sweat forming on her chest and forehead.
"Zac, why don't you go book somewhere for tonight?"
Zac
Zac shrugged.
"Yeah, okay," he agreed.
He watched her for a moment before he left the gym. Yep, he was the luckiest man alive.
Brand"I hate you," Brand declared from his position on the floor, hands fixed firmly over his eyes.
"I'm scarred for life now. I may never recover. Mentally traumatized psat the point of recovery."
He thought for a moment, then settled for one more sentance.
"I hate you."
Faith
"Ok, so Brand," Faith went on. "We'll drop you at the Halliwells and, then pick you up around... midnight?"
Brand
"Sounds fine," Brand said.
"Yay, witches and spells!"
Zac
Zac hot footed it to the nearest phone and began the strenuous task of trying to find a restaurant that wasn't completely booked out on Valentines Day.
Faith
Faith gave one final punch to the punching bag then moved on to the balance beam.
"Try not to blow yourself up."
Brand
"Aww, you've heard about the lab at the school," Brand said.
"I maintain that was Leech's fault, not mine."
Zac
Still Zac continued to ring around. This was not looking good.
"You sure you don't have any? Oh yeah, okay, I understand."
He sighed and tried another number, and another and another until at last... he let it 'slip out' that he was Zac Hanson and viola! A cancellation suddenly appeared.
Faith
"Not from what I heard," Faith said, an amused grin on her face.
She wiped the sweat from her forehead.
"Hmmm, I'm gonna take a shower."
Brand
"Yes, you do that," Brand said.
"By yourself. Like normal people do."
Zac
"Why?" asked Zac, reentering the room. "It's so much more fun with another person."
He grinned broady, took Faith's hand a kissed it.
"It took some doing, but we have reservations."
Faith
"Yes, that rocks. I'm sweaty and man, so hot. In all ways. Oh yeah."
Faith kissed Zac's cheek, then pranced out of the room.
Brand
Brand made an 'ewwwwwwwwww!' face.
"Sometimes I hate you both. I'm going somewhere else now to play with fire and shiny things."
Zac
"Good," Zac replied.
And thus, he trotted upstairs as well to get changed, ready for his night out with Faith.
Faith
Faith showered, changed and did all those woman in the shower things, in a total non gross way, because let's not think about that.
And then went to meet Zac.
Brand
Brand bounced out to the lounge room and draped himsefl over the couch.
"Airlia, si, we;re going to see the witches. But witches who are good, woman power and all that kind of thing. Like Faith. But she doesn't have magic...but she has girl power! Like the Power Puff Girls!"
Zac
"Yay Power Puff girls," Zac said dryly. "You peeps ready to go?"
"Where we going?" asked Saku.
"To the Halliwells."
"Goody."
Faith
Faith lifted Airlia up and brought her downstairs.
"I need shoooooooes."
She went rifling through a box and brought out some shoes.
Brand and Saku
Brand held his hand up for a high five from Saku, who grinned and slapped his hand.
"What's up, you cool cat?"
:"Mice."
"Yeah, makes sense. Flying mice?"
"Uh huh."
Zac
Zac grinned, although, he wasn't entirely certain he wanted Saku and Brand to be too close friends.. oh well, better than enemies, he supposed.
"Okay, shoes and then we go, right?"
Faith
Faith nodded.
"Yeah, let's do it."
Brand and Saku
"Out the door," Brand said.
"Go you good thing. Like whoa!"
Saku looked at him, then giggled when Brand made a face at him.
"Straight up there with the coolest cat. Yeah, I make no sense. Faith, why didn't you stop me? I mean, c'mon."
Zac
Zac patted Brand on the head.
"S'all good," he nodded solomnly.
He headed outside to the van, and unlocked it.
Faith
Faith went outside, locked up and all that jazz (Gonna rouge my knees and roll my stockings down... sorry)
"Ok."
She put Airlia into the car and hopped in herself.
Brand and Saku
"Going, going, gone!"
Brand gave Saku a hand up into the car.
They arrived at the Halliwell's pretty quickly.
Zac
"See you guys later!" Zac waved. "Have fun. Don't get up to any mischief, but if you do, don't get caught."
He grinned broadly.
Faith
They hopped into the car again and buggered off to the restaurant.
"Nice."
Faith hopped out of the van.
Zac
Zac took Faith's hand and led her into the restaurant. After giving out a couple of autographs, they were shown to their table and given menus.
"Hmm, so what shall we have?" asked Zac.
Faith
They ordered and ate, talking occasionally.
"So..." Faith said.
Zac
"Sooo..." Zac replied, smily softly.
Then, before he realised what he was saying:
"Wanna get married now?"
Faith
"Yeah, ok."
Faith shrugged.
She wasn't a planner.
Zac
"Great," Zac replied with a grin. "Waiter? Check please!"
He kissed Faith's hand across the table.
"Find somewhere in Tulsa? Or go to Las Vegas?" he winked.
Faith
"Tulsa. It'll take too long for L.V."
Faith stood up once they had paid and they lefted the building. Like Elvis.
Zac
"Okay then," Zac paused. "Church or courthouse? Actually... we're probably better off with a Church... They're more likely to be open right now."
He opened up the van and held the door open for Faith.
Faith
Faith hopped into the van.
They found somewhere to get married... the plan was afoot!
Zac
They went into the Church, and an hour or so later, they came out a married couple.
This is the point where we all go 'awwwwwww'.
Faith
And then they went home.
Where they consumated the phsyical aspect of being married.
Again, and again and again and... ok, a lot.
