One advantage there was to being homeschooled now was that Friday didn't have to be worried about being teased about her name this particular day, Black Friday.
Although... the James Bond rips off were kinda funny: Black, Friday Black.
Of course there was the major disadvantage of being tutored by her stepmother. Oh joy, oh prosper. One thing had to be said for Slayer training, at least it got her out of the house!
Ahh slayer training. That battle with so many alien vampires had really freaked her out. She certainly hoped she didn't meet another horde of them like that again.
Or at least not until she felt she was better able to deal with them.
Anyway enough of this.
Friday got up that morning and trotted down stairs.
"Morning, Day," said Trey.
"Hey Day guess what!" said Jack.
"What?"
"It's Black Friday, Friday Black!"
Friday shook her head as her half brother burst into mad giggles. Then again, maybe that wasn't an advantage after all.
