It was the more bizarre night Friday had ever had. She could understand why guys got so much pleasure out of... that. But even being male at the time, it hadn't prevented the nervousness that comes with having never had sex before.
Still, she did say that she wanted to lose it as a boy first - so that when she found that special someone she wanted to lose it as a woman to she would know what he'd like.
Some part of her did wonder if that was a mistake. But it was too late now. Way, way too late.
Besides, one way or another, Zac had to get pregnant - he even decided he wanted to (now that was weird).
"Do you think it worked?" asked a female voice from behind.
Friday turned, still male, and a little unwilling to change back.
"If not, we can always try again," but her tone lacked the usual mischeviousness.
"Suppose. Hmm... so that's what it's like for women," Zac mused. "I think I understand a bit better now."
"You'll understand pretty well while you're a woman. How much of that understanding is retained when you're a guy again is debatable," Friday said.
"Hmm. So when are we going to go to this other dimension of yours?"
"The cavalry should arrive this morning."
"We'd better get dressed," Zac started to get up, and then seemed to realise that none of her male clothes would fit.
Friday seemed to realise.
"Easiest way to do it? Use atom manipulation," he said. "That's what I've taken to doing. Makes switching sexes on the spot so much easier now that I don't have to worry about, ripping, stretching and otherwise messing up clothes."
"Okay," Zac replied.
She started to get out of bed, then stopped and glanced at Friday.
"Don't tell me you're being modest."
"I, uhh, well," Zac's face went red, "I feel silly."
Friday snickered.
"Would you feel better if I were a girl?"
"Uhh..."
Friday changed herself back, and then picked up her own clothes and started changing into them.
"You'd think a guy who has had as much sex as you have wouldn't get so embarrassed," she mused.
"Yeah, well, I'm not a guy any more," Zac replied. "I think that's kinda the point."
Friday shrugged, and discreeted turned her head away while she changed. Ugh, her male self had found Zac's female self attractive? What a bizarre life she lead - always attracted to the opposite sex - no matter which she was in, but then when she turned into said opposite sex, her hetrosexuality kicked in and just went 'eww, you were attacted to them?'.
Both dressed, they headed downstairs for breakfast and 'the cavalry' to arrive.
Dawn, Jessica and Rachel
Julie, Dawn, Armelle, Jess and Rachel all arrived. Annie was with the rest of Zac's kids' nanny, for the three days, and the girls were ready for a holiday.
"Okay," Dawn said. "We can't go through the portal from here, because technically it's a parallel world, and we don't know if any of our doubles live in this town. So, first, I'm going to do a teleportation spell, to take us to the Carribean before we step through the portal, okay?" Dawn said, and she started preparing the spell.
Isaac, Zac, Friday and Julie
"Sounds like a plan," Friday said.
"See you guys in a few days," Zac said.
"Bye," Isaac said.
"Bye Daddy," Saku giggled, "I mean Mommy. Hey, Uncle Ike! I have two mothers!"
"Oh there are a few things I could say about that," Julie snickered.
"I'm sure you could," Friday said dryly. "But maybe we should let Dawn concentrate?"
Dawn, Jessican and Rachel
Dawn finished the spell, and everybody suddenly found themselves on the beach. Then Dawn prepared the portal. She poured sacred red sand in a circle, then chanted, and pricked her finger, dripping one drop in the circle, a swirling blue portal appeared.
"All right everybody, jump on in." One by one, Jessi, Armelle, and Rachel jumped in, then looked at Julie, Zac & Day.
"All right, Zacharina, I have to go last."
Zac, Julie and Friday
Zac scowled at the name.
"You are a girl now," Julie poked out, then jumped into the portal.
Zac followed, and Friday jumped in after.
Dawn, Rachel and Jessica
Dawn grinned, jumping through the portal and closing it, so that nobody could follow them. She found herself on a matching beach, in a somewhat abandoned area. It looks like she chose well. Far down the beach there were people swimming and sunbathing.
"I came in yesterday," dawn said, "And booked us a resort. we should go check in. I booked us a suite with three bedrooms a couch, a tv and video games. We have a pool, they ocean, and a full-stocked mini-bar. Lemme have my props!" Dawn said, attempting poorly to be 'ghetto'.
"Props to Dawn!"Jessi squealed. "You rock, chickadee! I knew there was a reason I was your friend. BUt Rachel had a sudden horrible thought.
"Are mutants and or aliens real here?" Rach asked.
"Yep, and powers are fully accepted. The more powerful the woman, the more respect she gets." Rachel sighed in relief. "I should probably set up an OB-GYN appointment since we'll be here for a year. But first, I suggest we check in, and go swimming. Oh, Zac? I have extra EPTs in my bag, to help make sure. egg implantation takes 2 weeks, so you can test then."
"So, Tigger," Jessi said. Do you want to share a room with me? I've always wanted an older sister," she said, winking.
Zac, Friday and Julie
"Oh hardy-har-har," Zac said. "But yeah, I'll share with you. I think sharing with you, Roo, will be much safer than sharing with a few other people I could mention."
"Like who?" Julie asked, batting her eyes innocently.
"Guess."
"Well, it's a lot of preplanning you've done, Dawn," Friday cut in. "I never would have thought of it. It was just... oh good somewhere to hang out while Zac has the baby without losing any time back home. What's happening with money?"
Dawn and Rachel
"Well, theoretically, our atm cards will work, but we'd be taking the money from our counterparts in this world. So, I set up a bank account with a debit/credit card. We can use it to buy things, and to take out money we need. However, the money we have on us is useless, because of the faces on it. If you feel the need, you can pay me back when we get home. It's not like the Watcher's Council lets me be lacking in money." Dawn explained.
"I have a great deal of money back home too," Rachel said quietly.
"So, let's party!" Armelle said. "I want to lay on a beack and get a tan without bodyguards standing around"
Friday and Julie
"Great," Friday nodded. "Okay, so which resort is it? Let's check in."
"Oh my gosh," Julie gasped. "There are women here with only one boob!"
Jessica and Rachel
"At least it seems to be optional," Jess said shuddering.
"I read that the Amazons used to destroy one or both breasts because it made it easier to use weapons," Armelle said, shuddering a bit. "No thank you."
"I agree," Rach said. "Besides, how would I feed my babies?" Rach had a sudden thought, then burst out laughing.
"What?" Jess asked.
"By the time we get back home, this baby and Annie will be almost the same age!" she said, guesturing to her tummy.
Zac, Julie and Friday
"They look kinda lop-sided if you ask me," Zac commented.
"We didn't," Friday replied, as they entered the resort.
"Oooh, nice place," Julie said, looking around, then grinned at Rachel, "You'll have almost twins! People will come up to you and ask 'why did you have them so close together?' And then instead of going 'uhh, they're twins you moron' like I usually do, you get to tell them all about how you went to an alternate dimension."
The grin on her face became silly.
Jessica
"Now Julie," Jessi said in her best impression of Diana. "I expect you to be on your best behaviour while on holiday," she joked. "Two babies being born is enough!"
Julie and Zac
"Hey, I'm a happily engaged person," Julie nodded. "And for one I wasn't thinking anything dirty when I said that."
"There's a novel experience," Zac said.
Rachel
They walked up to the front desk to register, and the receptionist-boy bowed to Rachel.
"Miss Evans, please, what can I do for you?" he asked, not raising his head to look in your face. He backed up, without turning his back to the women. He went and got the manager, who was dressed in tight leather pants, and a tight bikini top, showing off her left breast. The right one was not there.
"Oh my," she said, "Rachel Evans, please, can I help you? Anything you ask, you shall get."
"Huh?" Rachel asked confused.
Friday, Zac and Julie
"We're just here about our booking," Friday said.
She looked inquiringly towards Dawn, while Julie and Zac looked at Rachel curiously. Why the attention?
Dawn
"We've reserved a suite under Summers," Dawn said. The woman looked through the papers.
"That won't do, it won't do at all. I've upgraded you to the Queen Suite, for no additional price," the woman said. "Don't worry about a thing, I'll have the bellboys take your baggage up straight away. Only the best for Rachel Evans."
Dawn looked flabbergasted, but didn't object, and the bellboys-- walking backwards-- escorted them to the Queen Suite.
Friday and Julie
Friday's eyebrows went up.
"I could get used to this," Julie whispered, nodding her head towards the bellboys.
"It's for Rach, not you."
"Details, details."
"I thought you were happily engaged."
"Shh!"
Jessica and Rachel
They were all very comfused, but headed up to their suite.
"Is there internet access in the suite?" Jess asked the bellboys.
"Yes, ma'am," he said, bowing. They got into their suite, and they found a very top of the line computer, and all sorts of electronic equipment around. Immediately, Rach sat down at the computer and googled herself. Then Jess made a joke about how dirty that sounded.
"Oh. My. Goodness." Rach said, waving for everybody to come over at look at the screen.
"Holy crap," Jessi said.
Julie, Friday and Zac
Julie trotted over to have a look.
"No way! You're famous?"
"Famous?" Friday questioned, walking over and seeing for herself. "Hey awesome! That sure explains a few things."
Zac, of course, had to look also.
Jessica and Rachel
"Hey, Rach," Armelle said. "Your other self only has one boob."
"Rachel Evans, the leader of the Animorphs, accepting an award on behalf of her group for saving the world," Jess read the captiuon beneath the photo aloud.
"No," Rach said quietly, "Jake's the leader."
"Not here apparently," Armelle said.
Zac, Julie and Friday
"Well, of course not here. Female dominated," Friday pointed out. "What about the other Animorphs? I suppose they're famous too."
"Ha I be it irks them that three males helped save the world, and only two females," Zac snickered.
"Unless... Jake, Marco and Tobias aren't Animorphs in this universe," Julie suggested.
Rachel, Jessica and Dawn
"I'll research it all later," Rach said. "I want to lay down in my nice soft giant bed, and THEN, go swimming, and THEN unpack."
"I think I'll try out the jaccuzzi," Jess suggested.
"I'm gonna go lay on the beach and flirt with the cabana boys," Dawn decided.
"What about Clark?" Armelle admonished.
"Hey, I can look, just can't touch."
*Says who?"
"Clark."
"Oh."
Zac, Julie and Friday
"Ooh, flirting with cabana boys!" Julie exclaimed gleefully. "I'm coming with you."
"Typical," Friday said. "I'm going to explore."
"Say, has it occured to anyone that I don't exactly have any girls clothes?" Zac asked.
"What do you think is in that bag?" Friday pointed. "If they don't fit, use your atom manipulation on them. you're not helpless."
"Hmph."
Thus they all went their seperate ways to enjoy their first day together in another dimension.
