Getting found out

Written by Joy

Cassie, Giles and Willow

Willow followed Cassie to the stable. She was about to shift into cat form when Willow approached her.

"Hey Cassie." Cassie looked up, a guilty look on her face.

"I'll leave if you want."

"Do you want to?" Willow asked. The godling shook her head, "Do you want to stay, and go to school here?" cassie nodded.

"Then why don't you come inside with me. We'll talk to Giles, and get you a bedroom. It's way too cold to be sleeping in the stable, Cass, even for a cat."

"Nobody wants us," Cassie said. "Mum ran off with Dracula, and Da disappeared. Orion moved in with some of the Hansons, and Draco got thrown in juvie, though he's probably on the streets again. And Percy is still in New Orleans, I think." There were tears in Cassie's eyes, and Willow enveloped her in a tight hug.

"LEt's just go back up to the school and talk to Giles."

"Okay," she said, sniffling. They walked up to the school and knocked on Giles' door.

"Come in."

"Hey Giles. Look who I found," Willow said. He saw the resemblances in her instantly. For a moment, he thought it was Priss.

"Well well, what have we here? Cassiopeia, isn't it?"

"Yes sir."

"Is there something you want to ask me?"

"Yes sir. PLease, would it be possible, I mean, may I stay here? I want to go to school. I need to learn how to read and write and fight, and all those things. We had to grow up so fast," she said. "And everybody left us. Nobody told us where to stay or what to do."

"But you're only a year old!" Giles said, shocked. "I might have expected this of Drusilla, but I never thought that Sabre would just leave his children without setting up care for them. Yes, you may stay. BUt you need to understand, there will be no bloodshed, and no magick without supervision."

"Yes sir."

"Willow, why don't you give her the empty 17-year old room next to Darcy and Tiff. I think swhe'll do well to be on the same floor as Rosalind.:

"Sure, Giles," Willow said, and took Cassie up to her room.
