"Oooooh, look! Look Sprout!"
Roberto rolled his eyes.
"Elata, please don't call me that."
"But look!" Elata pointed ecstatically to a poster. "It's a poster for the Genovian Society of Mutants! They're having a Fair!"
Roberto glanced at the poster without much enthusiasim.
"How exciting," Elata sighed. "I'm going to go. Come with?"
"I don't know, Elata..."
But Elata had moved on.
"I wish I could join. But I'm not a mutant. Have you joined?"
"Uhh, no."
"Aww, why not? If I were a mutant, I'd join in a heart beat."
"It's not really my scene."
"Madame Bella is a member," Elata went on as if she hadn't heard him. "She was very excited about it."
"That's good for her," Roberto sighed.
How was it he ended up friends with Elata anyway?
"Do you suppose family of mutants will be allowed to join?"
"Uhh... I don't know."
Family? What exactly was going on in Elata's mind? Roberto decided he didn't want to know... just the initial possibilities entering his head were freaking him out.
