Tanya and Leroy
"So, what happened?" Leroy asked.
Tanya looked Leroy square in the eye.
"It comes down to poor maintenance."
"Maintenance."
"Yep. They were about due for a course too. We're replacing it with a new model, and the team has been reprimanded, as it should have lasted longer than what it has. The station amplifier is still in good condition, and they were made at the same time."
Leroy nodded.
"How's the family taking it?" Tanya asked.
"About as well as can be expected. And hopefully they won't take it out of our hide when I tell them the reason."
"At least none of our people are on that stupid human tendancy to sue someone at the tip of a hat."
"Yes indeed. Although," and here Leroy smiled, "how would you? They could hardly go to a human court, and YIRAAS runs everything, including the judical system. But I'm sure, if the family requires any, some sort of compensation will work out."
Tanya nodded.
