Sirens wailed hysterically on Houston. Urgent messages were sent telepathically. Tanya was summonded as the investigation ensured.
Libby, Josh and Daniel had been waiting on the station for their friend Millsy to return. He and his family had gone downside for some family things and were due to come back.
"Kids, you're going to have to leave," said a security guard arriving to the scene.
"We're waiting for our friend."
"Wait somewhere else. There's been an accident. It's not safe here."
He shooed them away.
"Well, I'm not just going stand here," Josh muttered. "I'm going to find out. Be right back."
Josh turned himself invisible and snuck past the guard and to the teleportation centre. He came back a few miniutes later, having been caught by Tanya herself (just because his can turn his body invisible does not mean a telepath or empath can't find him), and being returned to his friend by another guard, looking rather miserable.
"And this time, stay out here," the guard warned.
"What happened?" Libby asked.
"I... I don't know everything..." Josh replied unhappily, "but there was a teleporter accident - they're looking into the details now, but... but Millsy... he and his whole family are... are dead."
"What?" Daniel stared. "Dead? No!"
"Yes."
"How?" Libby whispered.
"Don't know. Something wrong with the teleporter. They just... no more. No more."
