Do You Have A Plan?

Written by AiMsTeR and Michelle

Christian & Taylor

After some large persuasion moves on Christian's part, he managed to convince Jackson let him use the outside phone again. Only this time, he wasn't calling Tanya.

"Hello?" someone yawned on the other end of the phone a moment after they picked up.

"So, do you actually have a plan or are you expecting me to do all the work?" Christian grinned.

He waited while Taylor began to realise who he was talking to and what he was talking about.

"Ah... I might have."

"Want to share your ideas?"

"Of course I do. I just wasn't expecting to the moment I woke up. On a weekend no less."

"I have a hectic schedule these days you know."

"You're back in training, aren't you?" Taylor frowned.

"Got a problem with that?"

"No, of course not," Taylor insisted, "it's just well... it's hard to know what's going on, that's all."

"Back on topic. Ideas?"

Taylor hesitated, then took a deep breath before sitting up on the bed and rubbing his eyes.

"I need you to go in, pretending to be me. You can take him down when it's too late."

"Why don't you just go in and blast him with your sonics? Considering you did such a good job with-"

"This is Blakesley, Christian. I don't know what will happen if I have to face him again. I'm nowhere near over what happened if I must remind you."

Christian hesitated, then sighed.

"Ok. Well I won't be out of training for a couple of weeks yet..."

"I won't be ready by then anyway," Taylor insisted, hanging his head.

"Ok. Well I'm coming out for a week or so - going to see Craig's grave and such. So I might show up on the doorstep for a few hours..."

"That's fine. We're not exactly doing anything right now," Taylor insisted, "just be careful of Tad. He's been asking questions. Too many for my liking."

"Do you want him out of the way?" Christian frowned.

"No, no. Not like that anyway," Taylor insisted, "Tanya put him on assignment anyway.

"What exactly is he doing there?"

Taylor hesitated, pursing his lips.

"Isaac had what you would call a nervous breakdown and lost control of his power. It's in emotional control right now. And considering he can't watch me in cae I lose it again... you know. Tad has a power called Disruption and so he's basically here to stop us if we do anything stupid."

"So he's sort of like a bodyguard for everyone around you?" Christian almost chuckled.

"Yeah. And he must have the worst attitude on the freaking planet."

"Hey I noticed that. So... do you want to think this Blakesley thing through a little more and wait until I call again, or what?"

"I don't think I can think it through too much," Taylor shrugged, "there isn't much to think. You go in, you kick ass. I trust you to do that."

"I don't see why you wouldn't. I have to go."

"Ok. Have fun training or whatever."

"It could be worse," Christian admitted, "but I can't wait until I get out of here. I'm really sick of staying in one place for so long."

"Understandably. Guess I'll see you around then."

"You will. Bye."

"See you."

Taylor hung up and collapsed back down onto his bed.

Tad

Tad walked out from around the corner and sat down on a nearby chair. He had only been able to overhear Taylor's side of the conversation (if only he thought he could get away with bugging their phones!)

Taylor had been talking to someone... presumably Christian about his plans for dealing with Blakesley. Possibly a time had been discussed. And there had been no need for those comments about him!

Tad would have to mull over what was said. And do some more investigations of his own.
