Miguel
MIguel looked around the gay dance club. Now that the professor had given him an image inducer, he much enjoyed going out and being around people again. He missed his sisters, but he had accepted it and moved on. About three weeks ago, his sisters had been vamped by Adam and Leo and their gang of alien vampires, whe Adam came to the mansion to look for Jess. When she wasn't there, he decided to have some fun. So Miguel was trying to move on. Enrique was doing well at the school, but him? He was an adult, almost 22 years old. Of course, he had been made an X-man, but still, he wanted more. What he wanted, was a boyfriend.
Miguel danced with some boys, just having fun, when he spotted a familiar face.
"Hola, it is, Orlando, ¿Sí?"
"Yeah. Miguel, right?" The latino nodded. "This is Sandra and Tom," Orli said, introducing his companions. "This is Miguel, he's from my old school."
"The mutant school?" Sandra whispered, Orlando laughed. "Yeah."
"They know?" Miguel asked. "They know and they don't mind?"
"Nah, we're cool," Tom pipped up.
"Very cool," Miguel said, smiling. Orlando pulled his boyfriend and girlfriend in for a three-way kiss, and then sent Tom off to the bar to grab some drinks.
"We," Lando declared, pointing to himself and Sandra, "Are going to set you up. You're going to dance your pants off tonight," he said with an evil grin. Protesting a little, Miguel allowed himself to be set up with a couple of boys, and was actually enjoying himself. Becky and Rosalind showed up and were having fun dancing as well.
Octavian.
Octavian slid through the dancefloor, face up to the pulsing light.
Ignore the still slight twinges from the beating yesterday. Live this. Be this.
He flirted casually as he made his way to the bar, then ordered a drink.
His blond hair was highlit by the lights of the club an he swayed his head in time with the music, looking slightly brooding as he thought. Poor Bobby. He would have liked this.
Orlando
Orlando, Tom, and Sandra broke apart from a heated three way kiss. and Orlando laughed at who he spied.
"What, is this gay mutant day?"
"What is it?" Sharon asked.
"You remember my ex-girlfriend that I told you about? Demetria?" Tom and Sharon nodded. "Well, that's her twin brother." Orlando sidled up to the blonde boy.
"Care to dance?"
Octavian
Octavian turned around and considered Orlando.
"I know you. Hmm."
He turned back to the bartender and ordered another drink for himself.
"How's Juillard?"
Orlando
"It's good. This is Tom and Sharon. How's Dem doing?" Orlando inquired of his ex. Sharon got them each another drink, and the sat on Tom's lap, who snaked one hand around Orlando's waist, silently letting everybody know that Orli and Sharon both belonged to him.
Octavian
Octavian smiled slightly at Tom's possessive stance.
"Why would you really care? She's fine. Emotionaly fragile, but that's got nothing to do with you. That's her cheating ex's fault."
Octavian sipped from his drink, eyes remote before he put the glass down on the bar and melded into the dancefloor again.
Orlando
"I did care for her, Tav. IN fact, at the time, I thought I loved her. Broke my heart she did," he said with a sly smile. "Though I'd never had admitted it. I will say, however, that I am quite amused at how many of us are here, did you notice? Miguel Alvarez is over there, and Becky and Roz are doing the Muncher Mash." Sharon swatted at him for being gross, and he just waggled his eyebrows at her.
Octavian
"I doubt that she broke your heart," Octavian said.
"You seem very well recovered."
He glanced at Tom and Sharon, then leaned towards Tom.
"Word of advice. Don't cling so tightly. If they love you, they're not going to leave but you might drive them away. But then again, I don't believe in love..."
He inclined his head slightly and started to dance with some stranger, flirting with his eyes and his body.
Orlando, Becky, Roz and Miguel
Orlando shook his head at the mutant, and grabbed his lovers by the hand, pulling them onto the dance floor.
Becky and Roz danced closely ignoring all the girls who wanted to cut in.
Miguel was happy, hitting on every boy that came over. Finally, a young boy named Tim invited him back to his place, and Miguel happily followed.
Octavian and Demetria
Octavian left, sick of happy people and pretending to be normal. He took to the rooftops and watched the sun rise from the top of a skyscraper before Demetria came and took him home.
