Wesley
Wesley leant over the counter, looking out into the foyer as he completed some paperwork. Serafina played happily at his feet. Cordelia was recovering from a vision which had seen Gunn and Angel go out to kill demons and save people, again. He just hoped they got paid this time round. Connor slouched down into the lobby.
"I'm going out."
"Don't die."
Wesley turned over a piece of paper and scribbled a note on it, before sucking on his pen thoughtfully. Connor rolled his eyes and started to walk across the lobby to the door.
It opened and a petite woman in a deep red designer dress came in. The dress's hem whispered along the floor and she flashed more then a bit of leg walking as the slits up the side came to midthigh.
"Angel Investigations, we help the hopeless. My name is Wesley Wyndham-Pryce, how can I help you?" Wesley said, looking up.
"Yes, I actually think you can," she said, British accent ringing clearly in her light lilting voice.
"I'm looking for Angelus."
Connor brought his crossbow up and the woman, vampire as Wesley now saw, broke Connor's arm and threw him into a wall before smashing the crossbow over her knee. Wesley ducked, dragging Serafina behind the counter. She reacted with a startled mew, as Connor hit the floor, moaning in pain. Wesley grabbed a stake and a cross, before starting to vault the counter. Suddenly he found he couldn't move, could barely breathe.
Elizabette walked over to Connor and kicked him hard in the temple. Connor's eyes rolled up in his head and he fell into unconsciousness. Cordelia came to the door, gasped then turned to fetch a stake. A flick of the vampiress's hand and Cordelia crumpled, asleep before she hit the ground. She dusted her hands slightly and checked her nails before fetching Serafina who watched her with wide brown eyes.
"Hello, little girl."
Elizabette stroked her fingers through Serafina's hair as she walked back over to the couch.
"And why do you smell of my Sire, hmm? I suppose we should wait until he comes back."
She sat down on the couch with Serafina, blue eyes fixed on brown. Serafina sniffled slightly, glancing around at the room.
"Don't cry, poppet. I used to be good with children. Do you know this song?"
Elizabette cleared her throat slightly.
"By baby bunting,
Sire's gone a-hunting,
He's gone to fetch a human skin
To wrap his sweet Childer in..."
Angel
Angel and Gunn walked into the lobby, talking about the demon they'd just killed when they looked around.
"Serafina," Angel said, looking around, then he saw Elizabette.
"Lizpet."
Wesley
"Hello, Angelus," Elizabette purred, glancing up.
Serafina stared at her father with round fearful eyes.
"Darling Sire. What are you doing with all these humans? Pets? This one is pretty..."
Elizabette twined a curl of Serafina's hair around her finger. Wesley made a strangled noise, trapped by the spell. Gunn had his axe out and looked at Angel.
"Why is it, whenever your family comes to visit, we all end up in deep shit?"
"How rude. You should be whipped for your insolence," Elizabette said in a dangerous growl.
Angel
"Gunn, just... don't say anything, just go see if everyone's alright."
Angel took a slow step towards Elizabette as Gunn nodded and went to Cordelia's side.
"What are you doing here, Lizpet?"
Elizabette and Serafina
"I came to see you, of course," Elizabette said, kissing Serafina's nose.
The little girl smiled uncertainly, mouth wavering as she couldn't decide whether to laugh or scream.
"When I heard Darla was gone...hopefully for good this time. And I heard about you and I came home, Sire."
She smiled at Angel, eyes alight with adoration and happiness.
"I had to leave, before. I didn't want to. I wanted to stay, but Darla..."
She tossed her head, uncertain suddenly.
"She tried to stake me, so I left. I'm so sorry I left without a word, but I left a note..."
Angel
"I didn't get a note," Angel said slowly.
Gunn crouched next to Cordelia.
"Cordy, Cordy?"
Angel took another step towards Elizabette.
"A lot of things have changed, Lizpet."
Elizabette and Serafina
"I left a note in your sketchbook."
Elizabette's lip quivered slightly as she stared at Angel.
"You didn't get it?"
Serafina gasped slightly as the vampiress's grip tightened.
"Why are you keeping all these...humans around? You were never one for Renfields. Where are your minions?"
Angel
"Could I... could I just take the child?" Angel said, now standing right in front of Elizabette.
"I'll explain everything, as soon as I have Serafina."
Elizabette
"What does she mean to you? So sweet, so pretty..."
Eliabette let her eyes glow gold and her fangs lengthen as she slowly flickered into gameface.
"What is going on, Sire?"
Angel
"A lot has changed since you left."
Angel carefully sat down next to Elizabette, touching Serafina's hand to let her know it was alright.
"This is my daughter, Serafina."
Serafina and Elizabette
Serafina almost sobbed with relief, eyes darting to his.
"Da?"
"I thought something of the like..."
Elizabette kept her hold on Serafina.
"Once, I would have done anything for you, Angelus. But until I know what's going on...I've come to value my own skin, you see."
Her eyes flickered with rueful humour.
"Nearly being staked as you hunt with your Grandsire, by your Grandsire, does tend to have a lasting effect on trusting people."
Angel
Angel nodded.
"I'm sorry, I never knew... but Darla... she's..."
He sighed and took an unneeded breath.
"For my birthday, Darla brought me that gypsy girl... her people, they cast a spell on me and gave me a soul."
Elizabette
Elizabette blinked slightly, registering what he had said.
"What?"
She breathed in an unnessacery breath.
"I mean, pardon? I thought I heard you say you had a soul..."
Angel
Angel nodded.
"The gypsies... and after, Darla kicked me out."
He squeezed Serafina's hand.
Elizabette and Serafina
Elizabette's face went cold.
"That ungrateful whore. Block your ears, poppet. Sister Lizpet needs to swear some, unbecoming as it is and completely unladylike."
Serafina's eyes went wider and she stared at Elizabette.
Angel
Angel nodded at Serafina and tried to reassure her with his eyes.
"Then she was dusted... but some people brought her back and she... she drugged me and then... Connor was born."
Angel indicated to Connor's heap on the floor.
Elizabette and Serafina
"He's not dead," Elizabette said.
"Though, I might not have pulled my hits if I'd known he was Darla's get. Hmm."
She looked at Connor thoughtfully, then back at Serafina.
"Nowhere near as sweet and pretty as you, little poppet. And you're so much more polite, lamb."
She smiled slowly.
"Must because you're related to Darla a little more distantly, hmm? Do you think that's it, pet? Not so close to the nasty Grandsire?"
Serafina smiled slightly, eyes lighting up.
Angel
"She's Nyx's daughter," Angel said softly.
Gunn slapped Cordelia gently and she opened her eyes slowly.
"Wha - "
"Shh, don't talk, just relax, you'll be ok," Gunn whispered to her.
"Why are you here, Lizpet?" Angel asked gently.
Elizabette and Serafina
"Nyx..."
Elizabette looked thoughtful, bouncing Serafina on her knee. The small girl laughed.
"The cat? And why did I come? You shouldn't even need to ask, Angelus. You never used to..."
She looked wistfully sad and almost heartbreaking beautiful in her human face once more.
"I missed you, Sire. I always have."
Angel
"It's different now," Angel said. "Because of my soul."
He touched Serafina's cheek.
"The gypsies cast this curse that only true happiness could take it away, and so, I'm more or less always going to have it. I've had it for over one hundred years, Lizpet, and I help people now. A lothas changed."
He didn't mention the losing of his soul a few times.
Elizabette
Elizabette looked close to tears.
"This is all I have dreamed of, since I left you...that Darla would leave, and I could come back. I..."
Angel
"Lizpet."
Angel sighed.
"But this is... this is what I do now."
Elizabette and Serafina
Elizabette let out a muffled sob and rocked Serafina, hair falling across her face in a shimmer of gold. Gunn rolled his eyes. Oh crap. Tears.
Serafina looked at Angel, puzzled, then patted at Elizabette's face, crooning softly.
"Don' cry, pretty lady, don' cry..."
Angel
Angel sighed and put an arm cautiously around Elizabette.
"Lizbette," he said softly. "My little China doll... don't cry."
Elizabette
"I just, I *missed* you, so much, it was like a hole where you should be and you weren't," Elizabette wept.
"And oh, it hurt so badly I thought I'd die again, and I wanted to come back so much and I couldn't, I couldn't..."
Angel
"Lizpet... you need to know a few things, ok?"
Angel sighed.
"Darla's dust, as you know... William has a soul, and Drusilla and he are no longer together. Penn is dust too."
Elizabette
"William left Drusilla?"
Elizabette looked up sharply, flicking her hair away from her faintly tearstreaked face.
"How very...odd. What happened to Penn? Did William stake him for trying to play Daddy? Penn always tried so hard to make use behave for him, but he was never you..." she said almost seductively, staring at Angel through wet lashes.
Angel
"Actually, Drusilla left William. Said he went soft."
Angel almost chuckled.
"I was sent to Hell, and then came back. Penn came here looking to kill me, so... I dusted him."
Elizabette
"Penn always was stupid," Elizabette said flatly.
"Handsome though, in his way. If you could manage to make him shut up for five minutes so he didn't remind you what a crashing Puritanical bore he was. You were always good at that..."
She chuckled softly, eyes distant with memory.
Angel
"As I said, a lot has changed."
Angel glanced over at Wesley.
"Could you possibly... undo what you did to Wesley? For me?"
Elizabette
"A lot has changed with me as well," Elizabette said.
She flicked her hand and Wesley collapsed across the counter, stake and cross falling to the floor with a clatter. He winced slightly and leant back up, rubbing his side where he'd hit the edge of the counter and bruised himself.
Angel
Angel paused.
"I'm sorry that you find me different from what you expected."
Elizabette
"Well, what I was expecting was to be welcomed back with open arms, and a hunt or two," Elizabette said.
She walked her fingers up his arm.
"I'd settle for a kiss."
Angel
Angel hesitated.
"And if I don't?"
Elizabette
"I'll pout," Elizabette said flirtatiously.
Angel
"Will you go, once I have?"
Angel looked at Connor's unmoving heap once more.
Elizabette and Serafina
Elizabette heaved a sigh.
"If you insist. And he will wake up."
Connor stirred slightly.
"See? He rushed me a little, waving pointy sticks around and crossbows."
"Connor does that," Serafina confided.
"Does he now? Is he mean?"
"Uh huh."
Angel
"Serafina," Angel said softly.
"Can I have my daughter, please?"
Elizabette
Elizabette traced her hand down the curve of Serafina's cheek.
"She's beautiful, Sire. I can see you in her..."
She cuddled Serafina for a moment more, then handed her over reluctantly.
Angel
Angel took Serafina and put her behind him, one arm curled protectively around her.
"Thank you, Lizpet."
Elizabette
"You're welcome, Angelus."
Elizabette bit her lip, watching him. God, it hurt so much she thought she would break. He just didn't...
Angel
"It's..."
Angel shook his head.
"It's Angel now, actually."
Elizabette
"Angel."
Eliabette nodded slowly, not able to look away. He was her world, her God. And now...he told her he wanted her gone.
Inside, she keened with grief.
Angek
"Elizabette..."
Angel's brown eyes studied her face.
"Why are you here? Honestly."
Elizabette
Eliabette fought the tears that so easily rose.
"Sire..."
She turned her head away and got up, stalking like an enraged and caged cat.
"Because! Because you're MY SIRE! You made me, you're *everything*, my God, my, my *addiction*, everything that ever mattered to me, you always have been."
She came back and knelt at his feet.
"Don't send me away. I'll do anything, anything, please, Sire, please..."
Angel
"Childe," Angel said softly.
"I'm sorry, but... I couldn't ask you to stay, I couldn't put my friends lives in danger."
Elizabette
"I said, anything. I won't hurt them. I didn't kill them, did I? Ple- ease..."
Elizabette bowed her head, shoulders shaking. He could always do this to her, even when she'd been human. Make her lose her composure and turn her into a ridiculous ball of need and want, craving his prescence, his word, a smile, a touch, anything that said he was thinking of her.
Angel
Angel touched the top of her head softly.
"If you promise not to hurt them, you can stay for a few days."
"Angel," Cordelia began.
"Not now, Cordy," he replied, eyes not leaving Elizabette.
Elizabette and Serafina
Elizabette took his hand and pressed her lips to it, still shaking. A few days grace. She had something, a scrap. But that was all she ever got, and she'd be thankful for it.
"Thank you, Sire."
Serafina made a small confused noise.
Angel
"It's ok, Sera," Angel said softly, only now turning to look at his daughter.
"Can you go sit with Aunty Cordy for a moment?"
Angel stood up and reached for Elizabette's hand.
"Come on, we'll get you a room."
Wesley
Serafina got up and walked over to Cordelia slowly, who scooped her up and hugged her tight.
"You alright, sweetie? You're not hurt?"
"Ok, I'm ok," Serafina said as Cordelia started to check her over.
Wesley crossed slowly over to Connor, carrying a first aid kit. The teen sat up dazedly, shaking his head and cradling his broken arm.
"So, now she's staying here?" Gunn said with suspicion.
"Great. Fantastic. It was just about decided when she batted her baby blues and bawled. The shameless begging just clinched it."
"Thank you, Angel," Elizabette said to Angel, before her head whipped around to glare at Gunn, fury raging behind impenetrable blue eyes.
"What would you know, you, you *human*? The blood does not call to you, it does not sing. You do not know of which you speak!"
Angel
Angel rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"Gunn, please... I'll talk to you later."
Gunn bit his tongue, but looked very annoyed about it.
Angel took Elizabette's hand and lead her up the stairs.
"Uh... I don't know how many rooms have beds in them, beds that are still able to be used, because this place is very old."
Elizabette
Elizabette looked around her.
"I can see...it's very grand, underneath it all. You always found nice places to reside in..."
She bit her lip so hard she drew blood.
London, the year after she was turned.
"Sire!"
She twirled around his hotel room, laughing as he watched her.
"You find the nicest places to stay. So elegant, refined and oh,
just beautiful."
"I have always had an eye for beautiful things," Angelus remarked,
eyes tracking her every movement.
"Oh really?"
She paused and walked over to him.
"Would that make me beautiful as well?"
"You are fishing for flattery, Lizbet. You know what you are."
"I'm yours. That's all I know. Always yours."
He drew her down into his lap and she curled up against him, wildly
happily. She'd take advantage of this before Darla returned and
threw her out.
Angel
"I've always had an eye for beautiful things," Angel said softly, an
amused smile coming onto his face.
He opened a door to the room next door to his and shook his head
slightly.
"Why don't you stay in my room? I'll take this one."
Elizabette
"I couldn't..."
Elizabette looked up at him through her dark lashes. Oh, heaven. To
sleep where he did.
"It's not my place. As your Childe, I..."
Angel
"And as your Sire, I tell you too."
Angel kissed her head gently.
"It's far too dank in this room. Stay in mine. If you like, I'll
sleep on the couch in my room too."
Elizabette
Elizabette closed her eyes briefly to savour his touch. If all she
had were a few days, she had best make them count.
"I...I would like that."
She hesitatingly smiled.
"You can tell me how William and Drusilla are. I have been away so
long...so far away from anyone of Aurelius. So desperately
lonely..." she whispered.
Angel
Angel led her into his room and closed the door.
"I haven't heard from Drusilla, please, sit down."
He gestured to the bed as he sat on the couch.
"But William is well, has taken a new lover, whom I have inducted
into the Order. Binding them together."
Wesley
Elizabette perched on the end of the bed, folding her hands in her
lap and crossing her legs at the ankles.
"That is good. I was always fond of William...and exceedingly
irritated with Drusilla. What is William's new heart's desire like?"
Wesley patched Connor up and sent him to bed.
Angel
"His name is Vortigern, and he's a mortal."
Angel paused.
"Soon to be immortal, with a prophecy of some sort. He's an artist,
and a twin, a very nice person."
Elizabette
"Twins..."
"For you, Sire."
She dropped a curtsey, beaming when he smiled back at her. Two girls
were laid out on a chaise lounge, arms around each other and faces
exactly the same, even in sleep. Black hair spilling out across the
white silk upholstery.
"Angelus! Angelus, we're going to be late," Darla's voice rang out
in annoyance.
Elizabette's smile slipped away as his head turned, firmly pasted
back on when he turned back.
"Keep them warm for me, Lizbette. I'm sure they'll taste delicious."
A quick brush of his lips against hers and he was gone. She screamed
in frustration and threw a vase against a wall.
"Tut tut, temper, Lizzie," William said.
She threw a heavy object d'art at him.
"Go away, you miserable little clerk!"
When she burst out crying, weeping heavy salt tears, he entered the
room.
"He can't help it, pet. It's what he is, just as we're his. He's
Darla's, always has been, always will be. We just have to accept it
and be grateful for the time she lets him spend with us."
Elizabette clung to him and howled.
"William always did have exquistite taste...I'm sure he's perfectly
lovely."
Angel
Angel smiled slightly.
"He's still as annoying as ever."
He leaned back against the couch.
"But you must be tired. Where did you come from, exactly?"
Elizabette
"Annoying, constantly," Elizabette said dryly.
"But sweet. I was in San Fransisco, but I spent most of my time
hiding away in Scandanivia. Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland...and
then I went to Asia for a while. I stayed away from Europe, and then
I felt the Master become dust. I came back to Europe, still staying
very low. And no one knew where you were, the beings I had the
courage to ask..."
Angel
Angel nodded.
"I was in Sunnydale, on the Hellmouth. I... uh... helped the Slayer
kill the Master."
Elizabette
"You..."
Elizabette shook her head.
"Things have changed. The great Angelus, the Scourge of Europe,
aiding a Slayer? How truly...bizairre."
Angel
Angel smiled ironically.
"Then I fell in love with her."
Elizabette
"Did Hell freeze over and I not get the memo?" Elizabette asked.
She looked away and ran her fingers through her golden hair, just
thinking and quietly despairing. All she wanted was her Sire back,
and Satan take it, she deserved that.
Angel
Angel sighed sadly and looked out his window at the memory of Buffy.
"It was just... I've changed, that's all."
Elizabette
"Well, I can see that," Elizabette said.
"Several things sort of clued me in. For one thing, the humans. And
another would be that my dress isn't in several pieces by now."
Angel
Angel sighed.
"You probably need sleep."
Elizabette
Elizabette chuckled wickedly.
"Does that make you feel all edgy? Being reminded? I remember...a
lot."
A slow thoughtfully naughty smile crossed her face.
Angel
"It's nothing."
Angel got up and headed for the door.
"Just get some rest. I'll be back."
Elizabette
Elizabette watched him leave, then fell back on the bed with a huff.
Harder then she thought. And it probably was. She rolled over,
burying her face in his sheets and giggled, thoughts becoming
dirtier and irrestibably reminded of times they'd spent together. In
bed...and other places. Angelus had never been shy and she'd been
quickly broken of the concept that sex was for the bedroom only.
She wondered suddenly if he remembered that she slept naked.
Angel
Angel slowly went downstairs, shaking his head slightly. That had
been close.
"Wesley, Cordy, Connor, are you alright?"
Wesley
"I'm fine, Angel, shaken but fine," Wesley said, looking up from
setting Connor's arm.
"Connor's arm is broken, and so are two of his ribs."
Connor glared at his father, then ostentatiously turned his head
away again.
"Oh, stop being a whiny baby. You'll be fine in a couple of days,"
Cordelia said.
"I'm fine. She just...put me to sleep."
Elizabette pulled her dress over her head and kicked off her high
heeled shoes. She took off her jewelery and placed it on his chest
of drawers, walking around in sheer burgundy underwear, silk
stockings and garters.
Angel
"If you want, we can take you to the hospital, but you do heal
quickly," Angel said to Connor.
"But you're good, that's good."
He looked around.
"Sera?"
Serafina and Elizabette
"Here," Serafina said, looking up from where she'd wandered off to
play with her dolls again.
"She smelled nice. Like...sugar."
Elizabette walked around Angel's room, looking at things. She found
his sketchbook and curled up on his bed, looking through it.
Angel
"She's... she's going to stay for a few days."
Angel looked upstairs and then decided to have a cold shower.
"So, she won't hurt you because she promised."
He went, had his cold shower, and dressed again and knocked on his
door.
Elizabette
"Oh, she promised," Cordelia said sotto voice to Wesley.
He polished his glasses.
"Ah, according to the Watcher's Diaries, she generally did keep her
word...and she was, apparently still is, absolutely besotted with
her Sire. She won't do anything that might annoy him."
"Come in," Elizabette said, distracted as she stared at a picture of
William with his arms around a young man, both smiling. Her brother
of blood looked rarely happy, as he had not so often with Drusilla.
Of course, who could be happy with that loony bitch? she sniped to
herself. She'd never liked Drusilla, less so after the insane
vampiress had tried to scratch her eyes out, wailing that she was a
bad lady, all dripped with moonlight.
"Is this William's lover, here?"
Angel
Angel tactfully averted his eyes from her lack of clothing choice
and sat on the couch again.
"Yes, that's Vortigern. The next one will be Faith, she's a Slayer
that I helped."
Elizabette
Elizabette fipped the page.
"She's...fierce, is the word that comes to mind. Pretty."
Angel
Angel smiled in amusement.
"Yeah, she... she is."
Elizabette
Elizabette glanced up at him.
"You don't honestly think I'm that stupid I want to rack up a Slayer
on my hunting score? Please, that was always William's ideal. Which
he did. Twice."
She smiled slightly.
"I was so proud to hear that he finally did. I just have that bit
too much survival instinct to make Slayer hunting was attractive,
and you have to admit that was never William's strongpoint."
Angel
Angel shrugged.
"Made him happy."
He watched as she flipped the page, where she would see a sketch of
Drusilla and Sabre.
Elizabette
"Drusilla..."
Elizabette's eyes narrowed slightly.
"And who's that with her? The reason she left William?"
Angel
"No."
Angel shook his head slightly.
"That's Sabre, Nyx's brother. She left William because he helped a
Slayer to save her life, and she said he'd gone soft."
Elizabette
"Sure it wasn't the stars or that silly doll that told her?"
Elizabette asked.
"The number of times she would go off on some rant because,
arrrghhh..." She made a strangled sound of anger and frustration.
Angel
Angel looked at his feet.
"Was fun at the time... driving her insane, that is."
He watched her turn to the page which had a picture of her on it.
Naked.
Elizabette
"You just didn't have to...oh."
Elizabette stared at the picture. Extremely pleased that he had
remembered that well.
Angel
Angel looked away quickly.
"Um."
Elizabette
"Hmm."
Elizabette traced her finger along the smooth curve of her body on
the paper.
"I'm flattered you remembered so well."
Angel
"Vampire memory."
Angel tapped his head slightly.
"Wasn't easy to forget."
Elizabette
Elizabette turned huge eyes on him, suddenly looking about 12.
"You mean, you wanted to?"
Angel
"At times," Angel admitted.
"It wasn't... it still isn't easy to live with all I have done."
Elizabette
Elizabette sighed slightly.
"Hmm. So, is William all woe, for I have soul now too? Note to self,
say away from gypsies."
Angel
"No."
Angel stood up and went to the door.
"I'll leave you to get some sleep."
Elizabette
"Sleep, aye to sleep. Perchance to dream," Elizabette said dreamily.
"Do you remember when we went to the playhouse?"
London again, at the Rose playhouse to see a play by Shakespeare.
Hamlet.
Elizabette flicked her fan out and batted her eyelashes coquetishly
at the man she'd picked as her prey for the night. William was
complaining and generally being a pain, while Drusilla was
whispering to her doll. Darla was looking bored as she held onto
Angelus's arm.
Fed, she returned to her family as they moved into their box.
"It opens with a funeral?" William said.
"Apparently so," Elizabette said.
"William, what are you...oh!"
Apparently being bored was not good for William. She removed his
hand from under her dress and semi-glared at him.
"I actually want to watch this, Will."
Not that that attitude has persisted once her Sire had got into it.
Angel
Angel paused in the doorway, a small smile playing over his lips.
"Yeah."
Elizabette
Elizabette smiled back at him, shifting on the bed slightly so her
stance was a veiled invitation.
"I liked those times best."
Angel
Angel closed the door and walked slowly over to the bed.
"Mmmmm."
He looked at her, then looked at the door.
Elizabette
Elizabette wet her lips slightly, watching him.
"Angel..."
She wanted to beg, to plead. But she wouldn't. If he hadn't figured
it out by now, he'd gotten a lot less observant.
Angel
Angel sat down on the corner of the bed, trying to ignore her smell.
"Do you need anything to eat? I uh... only have pig's blood."
Elizabette
"No..."
Elizabette sat up and stretched.
"I have servants for that kind of thing. Humans who like the bite."
Mordred
"Oh."
Angel glanced at her again.
"So... how long ae you planning on staying?"
Elizabette
"As long as you'll let me," Elizabette said simply.
Or as long as those little humans didn't try to stake her so she had
to kill one of them and then take off.
Angel
Angel fiddled nervously with the ring on his finger.
"Another thing that changed... Drusilla, she... went through
dimensions and stole all of the Gems of Amarra. I have one now...
and so does William."
Elizabette
"Really? I wouldn't have thought Drusilla could concentrate on one
thing long enough to do that," Elizabette said.
What a pity the babbling lunatic hadn't gotten lost and never come
back.
"That's fantastic. I could almost forgive her for burning my dress
that time. Notice, I said almost. I really liked that dress."
She smiled slightly mockingly. She would have done anything to get
that for him, if she'd been around. And to find that miserable
little servant had beaten her to it...honestly, she could just
scream.
"Can I see it?"
Angel
Angel took it off and cautiously handed it to her.
"If you like... we could get you one. William's lover and his
friends stole the Gems from Drusilla, and hid them, so if you..."
Why was he telling her this?
Elizabette
Elizabette turned it around in her fingers, watching it gleam in the
light.
"So, William's lover is not only highly decorative but useful too?
Lucky William."
She had a flash of amused thought.
"And I suppose he's as bad at sharing as he ever was. Pity."
Angel
Angel reached over to take the ring from her, then slid it back onto
his finger.
"Yeah," he said, shifting uncomfortably.
Elizabette
Ring of Amarra. In the hands of William, who had a soul now.
Elizabette stored that tidbit away for later consideration and moved
right along with the convince the Sire to pound her through the
matress plan. Which she shouldn't have had to come up with in the
first place, Hecate take it.
"So, where is William living at the moment? Not here, or I would
have scented him."
She picked up the sketchbook again, and resettling slightly closer
to Angel. She was actually rather surprised he hadn't already
pounced, actually. Was she losing her touch?
Angel
"New York. He's actually a teacher."
Angel smiled slightly.
"At a high school for mutants. Xaviers Institute."
He tried to ignore how good she smelt. Damn his enhanced senses.
Elizabette
"I can't believe William has the patience to be a teacher."
Elizabette laughed, eyes sparkling.
"Despite how annoying he gets, I do actually rather miss him.
Perhaps I should look him up..."
She leaned her head to the side slightly, exposing her throat to
Angel. The two pale scars of when he had bitten her to turn her
showed faintly against her white skin.
Angel
Angel shifted again on the bed.
"Yes."
He swallowed loudly.
"He... he teaches self defence or something like that."
Elizabette
"He was always very good at...fighting."
Elizabette hooked a lock of hair that had been hanging over her face
behind her ear then very gently rested her fingertips on the
bitemarks.
Angel
Angel half reached out to help her, then pulled his arm back quickly.
"Have you... have you seen anyone else?"
He frowned slightly.
"I did notice a lot of my Childer went missing."
Elizabette
"Darla," Elizabette said simply.
"One night...we were out hunting, you were gone to look after
something for the Master, I think. A vampire named Nicholas...he
came up to us, asking after you. Darla staked him, she didn't know I
saw her do it or I wouldn't have come back that night either."
Angel
"I noticed one's I had a particular attachment to, went missing."
Angel closed his eyes for a second.
But she smelt so good.
Elizabette
"Because Darla was insanely jealous, didn't you ever notice?"
Elizabette said.
"And me? Oh, she *hated* me. I reminded her of what she was before
she became the Master's favourite."
She put her hands on Angel's shoulders, fingers moving in the
soothing motions he'd taught her he liked best.
"I was far too high born for her ever to even tolerate me. Drusilla,
William...they were tolerable. I? No."
Angel
Angel closed his eyes and thought about pulling away.
"Drusilla was not a threat... a play thing, yes, but never someone I
wanted seriously. And William... he was just annoying."
Elizabette
"Honestly...what possessed Drusilla? It must have been the way he
looked, because in personality? Ugh."
Elizabette started a small spell of allure and lust. If they won't
let you win, find another way.
Angel
Angel turned around and looked her in the eyes, a hand moving down
between her legs slowly, thinking that it was wrong somehow.
Elizabette
Elizabette spread her legs slightly and moaned.
"Please, Sire..."
God, she wanted him so badly.
Angel
Angel shook his head slightly, as the little voice inside his head
went on vacation.
He slid two fingers inside of her, at the same time moving closer to
her and kissing her deeply.
Elizabette
Elizabette slid her fingers into his hair, holding his mouth to hers
as she kissed him back, moaning softly.
She was dizzy with joy. It had been so long, so long...and she had
missed him so much.
She started to undo his shirt with one hand.
Angel
Angel one handedly ripped her panties off and slid a third finger
inside of her.
He broke off the kiss and lowered his head, licking over her folds,
then delving his tongue inside.
Elizabette
"Oh god, Angelus! Please, oh god, please, Sire, Sire..."
Elizabette spread her legs wider, moaning. God, the things he could
do with his tongue!
Angel
Angel hummed against her, then nipped at her, moving his fingers
around again.
Elizabette
"Oh GOD! Angelusssssssss, yes, please, more, god please, Sire,"
Elizabette moaned.
Her eyelids fluttered wildly as she threaded her fingers through his
hair.
"Oh god, Siiiiiiirrrrre...."
Angel
Angel smiled slightly, then continued his task with renewed vigour.
Elizabette
Elizabette shifted faces, eyes glowing gold and face ridging as she
lost control.
"Angelus!"
She came hard, moaning his name.
Angel
Angel licked her clean then lifted his head and kissed her.
"Lizpet..."
Elizabette
Elizabette kissed him back, face softening back into its human
visage.
"Angel..."
She ran her hands down his chest, undoing buttons and shoving the
material off his shoulders.
"Far too dressed. Clothes, bad."
Angel
"Mmmm," Angel lazily agreed.
He let his fingers dance across her back and he unclipped her bra.
Elizabette
Elizabette fumbled for a moment with the button of his pants, then
got them undone and pushed them down off his hips.
"Please..."
Angel
Angel slowly slid into her, licking over the faded fang marks on her
neck.
"Goddd..."
Elizabette
Elizabette keened and bent her head further backwards, legs locked
around his hips.
"God, Sire! Please!"
Angel
Angel ground his hips against hers, then vamped out and bit down on
her fang marks, drawing blood.
"Lizpet..." he panted.
Elizabette
Elizabette kissed him back, cutting her lips open on his fangs.
"Angelus...god, I missed you. So much."
Angel
Angel latched onto her lips, sucking the blood out gently.
"Goddd..."
He thrust a little harder.
Elizabette
Eliabette moaned into his mouth, scratching her nails down his back.
"Sire!"
Angel
Angel moaned and thrust into her harder.
"Goddd..."
His fingers went down and rubbed her.
Elizabette
Elizabette's face shifted as she came, muffling her scream by biting
down on his shoulder.
Angel
Angel cried out as he came, hands grasping at her hips.
Elizabette
Elizabette kissed him, nearly purring.
"Mmmm..."
Angel
"Oh God!"
Angel sat up and jumped out of bed.
Elizabette
Elizabette looked confused, and very, very hurt.
"What?"
Tears started to slip down her face.
Angel
Angel fell to his knees as he felt his soul being taken from him, it
was like a burning in his chest.
"ARGHHHH!"
And then it was gone.
Elizabette
"Sire!"
Elizabette flew out of the bed, tears forgetten.
"Sire, what happened? Are you alright?"
Angel
Angelus's head snapped up and he growled slightly, then grabbed
Elizabette and kissed her roughly.
Elizabette
Elizabette melted.
This was the Sire she remembered.
She kissed him back eagerly.
Angel
He pushed her down on the ground and licked at the healing wounds on
her lips as he thrust into her.
Elizabette
Elizabette moaned, sliding one still silk stockinged foot along the
back of his leg.
"Angelus!"
Angel
Angelus bent his head and licked over her neck, fangs lengthening.
"Lizpet..."
Elizabette
"Please, yes!"
Elizabette bared her throat fully.
"Yours, always yours, Sire."
Angel
"My Childer, my pet," Angelus growled in her ear, biting down on her
neck again.
Elizabette
"Yours, yours, oh god, yours!"
Elizabette's hands held onto his back, as she moaned loudly.
Angel
Angelus's hand went between them and he roughly fingered her,
keeping up his steady movements with his hips.
Elizabette
"ANGELUS!"
Elizabette kissed him fiercely, feeling almost lost within the
sensations he was creating.
Angel
"Elizabette," Angelus murmured into her ear.
He thrust harder within her, fingers moving quickly.
Elizabette
Elizabette licked along his throat, moaning.
"Sire, god, Sire..."
Angel
Angelus lifted his arm and bit into it, then held it to Elizabette's
mouth.
Elizabette
Elizabette fastened her mouth on the bloody wound, drinking
greedily. Oh god! So long, so very very long since she;d even tasted
his blood...
Angel
Angelus growled again as he came, hips twisting slightly.
"ELIZABETTE!"
Elizabette
Elizabette threw her head back as she came.
"Angelus!"
She licked bloody lips, looking up at him with blue eyes.
Angel
Angelus let his game face slide away and he bent his head to kiss
her, softly this time.
"My mate."
Elizabette
Elizabette smiled slowly, delirously happy.
"You...you mean it?"
Angel
Angelus nodded and slowly withdrew.
"Of course."
He lifted her up and put her on the bed.
Elizabette
Elizabette leant down and kissed him, before sliding her stockings
and garters off. Somehow, they'd just stayed on.
"I didn't want to leave you, ever."
Angel
"I know, who could?"
Angelus smiled and lay next to her, fingers already wandering down
her body again.
Elizabette
"No one in their, ahhhhh, right mind," Elizabette said, spreading
her legs.
"Or even ones that weren't."
Angel
"Ah, my Drupet. She was a fun toy."
Angelus smiled and slid three fingers into her.
Elizabette
Elizabette moaned, eyelashes fluttering.
"Ah, Sirrrreeeeee..."
She slid a hand down his body to grasp his length.
Angel
"I remember this..."
Angelus grinned and leant over to kiss her.
Elizabette
Elizabette moaned then kissed him back, letting him control it as
her hand sped up in its movements.
"I never forgot..."
Couldn't stop thinking about it, ever.
Angel
"Well, I didn't forget, but he buried it within his mind."
Angelus moaned softly.
"So, now that you've turned me back, what did you want to do with
me?"
Elizabette
"Isn't that up to you? As my Sire, Lord and Master," Elizabette
purred.
"I was thinking that maybe William should be divested of his soul as
well."
She grazed her fingernails over him gently.
Angel
Angelus closed his eyes for a moment.
"Mmm, like a family."
He laughed.
"Yes."
Elizabette
"Mmmhmmm," Elizabette murmured.
She rolled his balls between her fingers, then went back to sliding
her hand over his length.
"A happy family again..."
Angel
"God..."
Angelus leaned over and kissed her, pulling her on top of him.
Elizabette
Elizabette smiled at him, putting her hands on his chest and leaning
down to kiss him. She raised her hips and then sank down on him
slowly, face radiating ecstasy.
"Ah goddddd, Angelusssssssss..."
Angel
"Pet..."
Angelus moaned and his hips bucked up.
He knew he turned her for a reason.
Elizabette
Elizabette rocked slowly, eyes half closed.
"Sire..."
Angel
"Yes, Lizpet?"
Angelus let his hips thrust up.
Elizabette
"Oh, god," Elizabette moaned.
She started to move faster, throwing her head back in a shower of
golden hair.
Angel
Angelus moaned and his hands rested on her hips, tightening as his
hips bucked up again.
Elizabette
"Angelus!"
Elizabette arched her back as she came, tightening around him
rythmically.
Angel
Angelus moaned as he came, his hips thrusting up. He moved up and
kissed her.
Elizabette
Elizabette kissed him back, fingers trailing across his chest.
"Sire, I missed you so..."
Angel
"Missed me too."
Angelus grinned and kissed her again.
Elizabette
"The...soul said you never got my note," Elizabette said.
"One wonders if a certain lunatic had anything to do with it."
She bit sharply at his nipple.
Angel
Angelus growled and lent up to return the favour.
"Never got a note, no."
Elizabette
"Pity. I wondered why you never showed up," Elizabette said.
"I just left London and...retired to a different location. I waited."
She grazed her nails hard down his body, raising an eyebrow slightly.
Angel
"I would've, if I'd known."
Angelus shrugged.
"Maybe... would've had to escape Darla."
Elizabette
"As I remember far too well," Elizabette.
"Still, kisses are sweeter stolen."
She moved down his body fluidly, trailing her hands down his side
lightly before she took him in her mouth.
Angel
Angelus's hips bucked up slightly.
"Mmmm, missed this."
Elizabette
"Course you did," Elizabette said, somewhat smugly, before returning
to what she was doing.
Gradually she took him down into her throat and swallowed
repeatedly. Not having to breathe had *great* advantages at times
like these.
Angel
"Ah God!"
Angelus hissed.
Elizabette
Elizabette moaned, bringing her hands up to play with his balls.
Angel
Angelus threw his head back, his hands going down to run through her
hair.
"Lizpet!"
Elizabette
Elizabette smiled, feeling his hands in her hair. She returned to
what she was doing with eagerness, humming.
Angel
Angelus's back arched and he let out a loud moan as he came.
"Godddddd!"
Elizabette
Elizabette swallowed, licking at her lips with a small pinnk tongue.
"Mmm."
She sat up and looked at him through halflidded eyes.
"Yum."
Angel
Angelus grabbed her by the arms and flipped her down onto the bed.
He licked his way down her body, then licked over her folds, sliding
two fingers into her.
Elizabette
Elizabette spread her legs and moaned loudly.
"Oh god, Angelussss..."
Angel
Angelus darted his tongue inside of her, and hummed slightly,
twisting his fingers.
Elizabette
Elizabette's back arched and she shuddered, moaning helplessly. Her
head thrashed on the sheets, golden hair spreading out in a fan.
"Sire!"
Angel
Angelus continued doing what he was doing, slipping another finger
inside of her.
"Mmmmm."
Elizabette
"Godddd, oh goddd..." Elizabette moaned throatily.
Her hands clutched at the sheets.
Angel
Angelus slipped another finger into her, then speared his tongue in
and out of her.
Elizabette
"OH GOD!"
Elizabette wailed breathily as she came.
Angel
Angelus lapped it up faithfully, then raised his head.
"Mmmm."
Elizabette
Elizabette was breathing, as she struggled to form coherent thought.
"Quite."
Angel
Angelus looked out the window and yawned, then crawled into the bed
beside her.
Elizabette
Elizabette curled into his side, eyes starting to close drowsily.
"Wait the day out, then leave?"
Angel
"Sounds good."
Angelus kissed her head and closed his eyes.
Elizabette
Elizabette sighed and let her eyes drift shut. Finally feeling safe
for the first time in over a hundred years. God, she'd missed him so
much...
She fell asleep quickly, head nestled against his chest.
