Chrissy and Faith
Chrissy ran from the house, heading for the Manor. Hopefully they'd let her stay for a bit, because she sure as hell was not going to go back to her house.
She was almost there when she heard a voice she really didn't want to hear.
"Hello, Chrissy."
Chrissy turned around to see Faith standing behind her, arms folded across her chest, a dark expression flitting over her features.
"Faith."
"Yeah, didn't think I'd find you? Or maybe, you just didn't think at all."
"I can explain."
"Well do it fast, Chris, coz from what I've heard, I owe you a severe ass kicking. And I think I'm gonna enjoy it."
"Look, I didn't... I was just trying to make Ike and Madison pay."
"Oh, and me? What the hell was I paying for?"
"I didn't want to bring you into it, not to hurt you anyway."
"Well you did. You made Zac think that I was with Isaac. Ok, so he thought that before, but that time, he actually thought he had proof."
"I'm sorry!"
"Just answer me, why did you bring me into it?"
"Because I knew if Zac saw you and Ike, he'd get angry at Ike..."
"And at me!"
"I didn't think you liked Zac anymore."
Faith reached out and backhanded Chrissy's face. Hard. "I love... loved Zac with everything I had, and you might've just ruined any chance I ever had of being anything with him ever again."
"It didn't seem as important," Chrissy replied, rubbing her cheek.
Faith hit her with a left hook, then spun and roundhouse kicked her to the ground. She reached for her knife and brought it down, then stopped before she killed her. "I could kill you, you know."
"I know," Chrissy said, quivering.
"But I'm not going to. And you're lucky." Faith stood up and tucked her knife back into her pocket. "But in the future, I'd stay away from me, because what I just did to you, is nothing compared to what will happen if you ever pull a stunt like that again."
Chrissy whimpered and got to her feet, hobbling down the road. She couldn't go to the Manor, they were more Faith's friends that hers. There was nowhere left to go.
