28 September 2003 - Making a scene

Michelle and Nessa

Isaac

Isaac pulled up outside of Chrissy and Madison's house. He took a moment to take a breath and otherwise compose himself, then got out, locked the car and knocked on their door.

Here's hoping it worked.

Chrissy

Chrissy opened the door, a none too impressed look on her face when she saw it was Isaac.

"What do you want?" she asked softly.

Isaac

"I'm here to see Madison," Isaac told her firmly. "And I'm not leaving until I do."

Chrissy

Chrissy folded her arms.

"She doesn't want to see you... so I guess it looks like you'll be sitting out here for awhile. Bye now."

She started to try and close the door.

Isaac

Isaac's hand (and telekinesis) met the door and he pushed it open.

"I'm going to speak to her," he said, forcing his way in. "Madison!"

Chrissy and Madison

Chrissy's eyebrows went up as she was pushed aside.

"Isaac, this is highly - " she started.

"Ike?" Madison said, appearing out of the bedroom, a confused expression on her face.

Isaac

"Madison," Isaac said happily, then went on seriously. "I've fallen too hard for you to just let things go. Please, Madison, I know things have started awkwardly, but please... would you go out with me?"

Madison

Madison's face broke out into a smile. She walked over and put her arms around Isaac.

"Did you really have to ask?"

She leant in and kissed him gently, while Chrissy's expression shifted from angry to hurt, and she looked away.

Isaac

Isaac kissed her back, his arms wrapped around Madison and holding her close. A fter a moment, he turned his head to Chrissy.

"Didn't quite turn out the way you planned, huh?" he asked Chrissy.

Chrissy and Madison

Chrissy folded her arms.

"Guess not. But it was fun."

Madison turned to Chrissy.

"I can't even believe you would've done that, and dragged Faith into it. By the way, I told her, and she's not so happy with you."

"I don't care."

"You're gonna have a pissed off Slayer after you and you don't care? Good luck, is all I can say... not that you wouldn't deserve it."

Isaac

"I'm really sorry things couldn't have worked out better," Isaac said quietly. "You're a great woman, Chrissy... or I thought you were until you suddenly turned all vindictive and spiteful. I never wanted to come between you two, you're so close, but I... I have to follow my heart, Chrissy. And it leads me to Madison."

Madison and Chrissy

"You deserved it. I'm sorry, but there, I said it. I can't be nice about this anymore."

"Chrissy, I - " Madison started.

"Don't," Chrissy interrupted. "I don't want to hear it."

"But - "

"Just don't," Chrissy said, turning and opening the door, running out quickly.

Madison looked back at Ike. "Well, that was interesting."

Isaac

"Yeah..." Isaac agreed. "I hope she doesn't do anything stupid."

Then he turned back to Madison and kissed her nose.

"It feels so good to finally have you in my arms," he said softly.

Madison

Madison smiled up at him.

"It feels pretty nice too. As far as arms go, you've got nice ones to be in."

She sighed.

"I'm sorry that this mess happened. See, if you'd called me first when you got our numbers, we probably could've avoided this."

Isaac

Isaac chuckled.

"Yeah... Not the first time I wished that, believe me."

He sighed.

"Would... would it be... inconsiderate or otherwise wrong of me to ask you to dinner tonight after what's just happened?"

Madison

"I think it would be wrong of you not to ask me."

Madison gave Isaac a cheeky smile.

"So, yes, we should go out. And start this relationship in a better way than we had before."

She paused.

"That didn't make sense."

Isaac

Isaac smiled.

"I know what you mean," he assured her.

He kissed her again.

"What time shall I pick you up?"

Madison

Madison kissed him back.

"Around seven?"

She reluctantly let him go.

"See ya then."
