27 September 2003 - Getting Back In The Saddle

Nessa

Faith and Xander

Xander tentatively reached for Faith's hand, smiling slightly when she relaxed and took it.

"So, here we are..." he said, looking up at her house.

"Yeah, here we are," Faith replied, turning to look at him, her dimples flirting with her cheeks.

"Has anyone ever told you that you're amazing?"

"Not today," Faith said, her eyes twinkling in amusement.

"Come here," Xander whispered, pulling her in for a long kiss. She hesitated, then let her body melt into his, and put her arms around his neck.

"That wasn't so hard," she said, once they'd pulled apart.

Xander grinned.

"Oh, you're gross."

"I'm gross? Me?" Xander replied in mock indignation.

"I was talking about dating again."

"And so was I. All you have to do is get back in the saddle."

Faith grinned cheekily.

"Oh, now who's being gross?" Xander asked.

"Hey, you started it!" Faith shot back, playfully.

He leaned over and kissed her again, then led her up the stairs to her front door.

"Do you wanna come in?" she asked, flipping her keys out and unlocking the door.

"Uh... yeah. I'd like that." Xander followed her through the door, and closed it behind them.

And you can pretty much assume what they did. But try not to get in the habit of assuming. It makes an ass out of you and me.
