26 September 2003 - Revenge Tastes Sweet

Nessa and Michelle

Chrissy

Chrissy walked up to the Hanson's front door, casting an illusion over herself to appear as Madison. She was still mad at both Ike and Madison, although she had told Ike she was basically ok with it. Well, she lied. Tough.

So, Madison had ruined her relationship with Isaac, Chrissy was going to make sure that Madison never had a relationship with Isaac. It seemed fair.

She grinned as an evil thought came into her mind, and worked an illusion so that all the Hanson's, except Zac, would see her as Madison. But Zac, he'd see her as Faith.

Making him think Isaac and Faith were still seeing each other.

She knew she was taking a huge risk by dragging Faith into it, and it was a little unfair, after all, Faith hadn't done anything to her... but revenge was revenge, and no matter who she was getting revenge on, it still tasted the same.

Sweet.

Chrissy raised her hand and knocked on the door.

Isaac

Isaac opened the door.

"Madison!" He exclaimed. "Come in."

He licked his lips nervously as he held the door open for her.

"Uhh, what brings you here?"

Chrissy

Chrissy grinned as she stepped inside.

"I just thought we should talk about this whole mess with Chrissy."

Isaac

"I, umm, yes," Isaac stammered.

He looked away from her, using closing the door as an excuse.

"Yeah, that's probably a good idea. I... I suppose she told you about the..." he gulped, "the song?"

Chrissy

Chrissy sighed.

"Yeah, she threw it at me."

She looked at Isaac, a sad expression fixed on her face.

"Zac thought it was about Faith, but Chrissy worked out it was... about me."

Isaac

Isaac sighed.

"I wish he would get past that."

He looked at Chrissy.

"I umm, yeah... Okay, I'm interested in you, Madison, and yeah... but if it's gonna be awkward..." he trailed off.

Chrissy

Chrissy sighed.

"I don't know."

She took a step closer to Ike.

"I just... I like you, but I think it's going to make things ten times worse with Chrissy."

She reached up and touched Isaac's chin.

"So I don't think... I don't think this could ever go further than what it already is."

Isaac and Zac

Zac had just come out of the stairwell when he heard Faith's voice. He slunk to the side.

"So I don't think... I don't think this could ever go further than what it already is."

Isaac looked downtrodden.

"Serves him right," Zac thought.

"I... I understand," Isaac swallowed.

Well. Everything had just gone and blown up in his face, yet again. Why could he never have a decent, lasting relationship with a woman?

Chrissy

Chrissy wanted to stop right here, but then she pushed that thought aside. They both deserved this.

"It's not that you're not a great guy, because you are... it's just... this went too far, and we've hurt people... and that's not a good start to a relationship."

Isaac and Zac

"I... yeah, I guess you're right," Isaac replied, looking down at the floor.

Zac found himself smirking.

"I didn't want it to start this way. Zac and I were both sick and some of our stuff got mixed up in the packing. I never meant to hurt anyone."

"Then you shouldn't have started seeing Faith behind my back," Zac thought to himself.

Chrissy

"Yeah... I know. I didn't either, but it happened."

Chrissy sighed.

"If Zac had never found the song, I guess you'd still be with Chrissy. And I'd... well, I'd be in the same boat. But... I think this is for the best."

Chrissy cast the illusion of tears cascading down her face.

Isaac and Zac

"Dang it, I'm so sorry," Isaac said.

He put his arms around her and held her close.

"I wish things could have worked out.

Zac's expression grew dark as he glowered at his brother.

Chrissy

Chrissy hid a grin.

"Yeah... but this is probably for the best."

She reluctantly pulled away from Isaac and kissed his cheek.

"I'm sorry that this mess happened. I wish... I wish none of this had happened, then maybe we'd all be happy."

Isaac and Zac

Isaac nodded.

"May... may I?" he asked.

Then, without waiting for an answer he kissed her lips gently. At least he would have this much.

If looks could kill, Zac would be guilty of murder.

Chrissy

Chrissy kissed Isaac back, noting in her mind that this was probably the last time she'd get to kiss Isaac.

She pulled away.

"I'm sorry..."

Isaac and Zac

"I wish things could have worked out," Isaac replied quietly.

Zac snarled. It was all he could do to stop himself from running out there and beating Isaac to a pulp.

Chrissy

"But we'd be hurting too many people."

Chrissy sighed again.

"And maybe... this is for the best. I..."

Chrissy decided to be really mean.

"I don't think I love you in the way that you'd like me too."

Isaac and Zac

Isaac nodded and bit his lip.

"I... I understand," he replied.

"Sucked in," Zac thought maliciously.

Chrissy

"I'm really sorry."

Chrissy kissed Isaac's cheek and turned around, opening the door. She looked at Isaac one last time.

"Good bye."

Isaac and Zac

"Bye," Isac replied.

He closed the door behind her and started towards the stairs. Zac quickly ducked down them before Isaac could see him.

Serves himself right.
