Gwen
Gwen's head ached from her fall in the shower. She'd woken up a few hours later, her shower having turned itself off after too long. A handy little appliance she'd had installed. She hoisted herself off her bed and walked slowly to the kitchen.
She found even sitting up quickly would cause her vision to go blurry, and if she didn't sit down quickly after it, she'd black out again.
What was going on?
Once in the kitchen, Gwen pulled the flu tablets and headache tablets from her pockets. She emptied the containers onto the bench and poured herself a glass of water, then picked up two of each pill, taking them quickly and walking back to her bedroom.
As she sat down onto her bed, she shivered, her vision blurring again, and everything going black. Her sight returned a few seconds later, and she let out a sigh of relief. She looked down to find her hands were shaking and something strange was happening to her feet. It looked like there was something inside them, moving around under the skin.
But that couldn't be.
She must be hallucinating.
Gwen let out a scream of pain as a high pitched noise squealed inside her ears. She held her hands over her ears, in a desperate attempt to block the sounds out. But it wasn't working.
After a few more seconds of the noises, Gwen passed out from the pain.
