19 September 2003 - Re-enacting that scene from the Matrix

Spook

Christina strode up to the doors of the YIRAAAS agent building, duffel bag in her hand and long leather coat sweeping around her ankles. The idea tickled her fancy, so she'd taken it and run with it. The coat was insecurely fastened across the front, so she could open it easily but not open enough that anyone else could see inside. She walked inside the foyer and strode towards the bank of lifts at the back. The metal detectors went off loudly.

The telepath at the door stood up slightly. "Ma'am, could you come back here please?" Christina paused, then walked back to the telepath. He was looking faintly worried and Christina smiled evilly as his expression went frantic. Inside the sphere now. SHe concentrated and sent it outwards.

All over the building, aliens and hybrids exclaimed in shock as their powers stopped working. Panic started, but was soon controllable.

Christina looked at the agent questioningly. "Yes?"

"Ma'am, if you would remove any metal objects from your person..." He was trying so hard to do his job...

Christina dropped the duffel bag with an almost silent whoomph, and opened her coat, clicking her heels together to release the blades. "I think you were saying..." She said as she got out the two Uzis stuck through her belt. "I just love the Matrix, don't you?" And she shot him, him still gaping at her. He flew backwards and Christina whirled as agents came down the lifts and out of the doors.

Shells clattered on the floor around her, many of the agents still not functioning at peak because of the sudden loss of the powers and many not armed for normal combat. Christina wreaked bloody death, throwing away the guns when the clips were empty and getting new ones.

She almost wished this was the movie, because at least that way she would have a partner she could trust watching her back. But as always, she was alone. And watching her own.

Christina moved upwards, floor by floor. Shells and bodies left in scattered heaps behind her. She made a mess of the pristine offices and set fire to the training facilities.

Before she left, Christina walked back over to the duffel bag and opened it. Inside, glinting away at her, was a very powerful bomb. She pressed the on button and calmly walked out.

She was maybe a hundered metres down the sidewalk when the building blew up behind her. The leather coat blew forwards in the hot wind as the debris rained around her and Christina kept walking, a grin stretching her face. She'd just gotten rod of over fifty top operatives of the YIRAAAS in one go, and destroyed one of their major complexes.

How do you like them apples, Tanya?
