Varian
Varian hissed slightly as kher skin shifted along the planes of kher body. It *itched*. Everything itched and crawled and felt out of place. Khe snarled angrily, then got kher claws and scratched hard. The scales parted neatly under the seeking claws and Varian breathed a sigh of relief as the itching burning cooled down for a bit.
Varian returned to it with a vengeance.
Soon, fragments of shining scale covered the ground around khet. Varian stretched, then the burning started again. Didn't matter what form khe was in, it still burned. The scratching started again.
After about five coats worth of scale came off, Varian sighed. This wasn't working. Khe still itched. A crackle of lightning arced between kher wingtops in kher displeasure. It should *work*! Khe knew that! This should all come off, and then the itching should stop. Purple eyes glowed with anger and Varian chucked a tantrum.
Fortunately, khe was outside at the time. Rain poured down and lighning lit up the skies as Varian tore at kher skin, trying desperately to stop the itching. It was driving khet insane. Itch, itch, ITCH! Thunder rolled and winds lashed at the mansion as buckets of water cascaded from the sky. Any students who were outside went back inside in a hurry.
After a bit, Varian paused and panted for breath, head hanging down. Khe moved some muscles experimentally. No itching. Khe walked back inside, water sheeting off the waterproof scales and dripping on the rugs. Khe had grown quite dramatically in size, and looked a lot more dangerous now.
Khe was now the size of a large dog...a very large dog. Irish wolfhound large. When khe became human, khe now appeared to be about five years old, rather then the 6 months or so khe had before.
Metamorphsis complete, Varian decided khe was quite hungry, so khe went to the kitchens.
