Nessa and Michelle

Piper, Paige, Madison and Chrissy

Piper came out of Faith's room, looking alarmed.

"Angelus tortured her."

Paige sighed. "I know... I healed her, remember?"

"Do you know what he did to her?"

"I couldn't get that out of her," Paige replied sadly.

"Well it's no wonder she's so freaked out right now." Piper shook her head and went to call Madison to ask her to work another night.

***

"Again? Yeah, alright. I'll do that. She was what?" Madison asked in alarm. After a few minutes, she hung up and turned to Chrissy.

"Faith's back... you're not up for working, are you?"

"Not really," Chrissy said absently.

Madison nodded, and went to tie her hair up. She flipped her phone out to ring Isaac. He should probably know about Faith, so he could tell Zac. Or whatever. She just wanted to call him and was using this as an excuse.

She waited patiently for Ike to pick up.

Isaac

"Why is my leg vibrating?" Isaac wondered. "Oh!"

He fetched his mobile phone.

"Me thinks I can change the ring tone now..." he said, then answered, "hello?"

Madison

"Uh, hey Ike," Madison began awkwardly. "It's Madison."

She took a deep breath.

"I'm just calling to tell you something."

Isaac

"Oh hey," Isaac replied.

Why, oh why did Madison had to call? It just made things worse.

"What is it?"

Madison

"I just thought you guys should know that Faith is back."

Madison took a deep breath.

"She was... she was tortured. A lot. I don't know if Zac would want to know, but I thought I should give you guys the heads up."

She sighed.

"He broke all of her bones, and cut her to pieces, and raped her, then convinced her Zac was dead. Not necessarily in that order, either."

Isaac

"Ouch," Isaac winced. "Thanks for telling me. I'll be sure to pass that on to Zac."

He paused.

"If he'll listen."

Madison

"I'm sure he'll listen, you saw the way he freaked when he thought she was dead."

Madison sighed.

"Hopefully he'll listen. So what's news with you guys then?"

Isaac

"Hopefully," Isaac agreed. "But like you said, he freaked when he thought she was dead. Anyway. Well, we have a concert today. We're in Portland."

Okay she had told him the news... couldn't they hang up now? Before he did something foolish?

Madison

"Oh cool, how did it go?" Madison asked.

"Idiot, hang up... he's your sister's boyfriend. No more talky!"

Isaac

"Good," Isaac replied. "Oh an umm, speaking of which, I should go. Thanks for telling me."

"Good move there Ike..."

Madison

Madison nodded, then realised Ike couldn't see her.

"Yeah, I should get to work. Good talking to you. Bye."

She hung up, breathing a sigh of relief.

Isaac and Zac

Isaac hung up and then went looking for Zac.

"Oh there you are."

Zac ignored him.

"I thought you might like to know that Faith's alive."

Zac jerked his head up, but didn't look at Isaac.

"She's been tortured and raped," Isaac said quietly.

Zac whirled around.

"What?"

"Tortured and raped."

Zac looked around the room madly. No no no no no no no.

"And she was told that you were dead."

"I bet that was a real tormet," Zac said bitterly.

"Zac -"

"Good riddance to the pesky ex."

"Oh come on Zac, that's unfair. She loves you."

"Oh sure. Then why was she in your arms, huh?"

"She was upset. I was trying to comfort her."

"Suuuuure. And if she needed 'comfort' so badly why would she go to you if there was nothing going on?"

"It was something she felt she couldn't talk to you about."

"Like what? What could she possibly say to you that she couldn't to me?"

"I promised not to tell."

"How convienient."

"Zac -"

"And I can't believe you Ike. Faith is an incredible, amazing woman and you blandly say 'she was tortured and raped'. What kind of unfeeling bastard are you? Why aren't you comforting her now, huh? You don't deserve her!" Zac shrieked. "And you don't deserve Chrissy either! You rotten, stinking, woman-stealing, trecherous eunuch!"

Zac stood up and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind him. Isaac said. Maybe Zac was right.

He didn't deserve Chrissy.
