8 September 2003 - Practicing

Michelle

Isaac, Zac and Saku

It was early morning, and they were on the tour bus. Zac stared at up the ceiling for a while and then reluctantly rolled out his bunk.

Isaac was already up. He was sitting on a couch, blindfolded, and with ear plugs in. Saku was racing around the bus, chasing a rubber mouse.

Hang on...

Chasing a rubber mouse?

That was moving on it's own?

What the heck?

"Ike? What's going on?"

No answer. Of course, the ear plugs. Zac walked over and moved his hand to take one out. He hand froze and he was unable to move it.

"Before you ask, Zac - if you haven't already - I'm practicing using my telekinesis without being able to see or hear. I put fish oil drops on the mouse so I could smell it and that's why Saku is chasing it. I know where Saku is and how much fun he's having because he's gotten the fish oil on him. I can grab your hand, because I felt the vibration of you walking down here - which is a miracle in itself because I also have to deal with the movement of this bus. Plus you also smell. Didn't you have a shower before we left?"

And Isaac pulled out the ear plugs and lifted the blindfold - without lifting a finger. He grinned at his brother.

"Funny. Why?"

"Hey, I had no idea before Miette blinded me that there were other ways of using my power. I'm experiementing, and I'm also trying to hone my skill. Never know when it might be useful."

"Hmph."

Then Zac seemed to remember that he wasn't talking to Isaac (hey, it was early in the morning) and went about his business. Isaac sighed and deprived himself of his sight and hearing again, and get some more practice in before anyone else got up.

At least Saku appreciated him.

Sometimes.
