Nessa

Faith, Angel and Paige

Angelus made little clucking sounds as he walked around the chair Faith was chained to.

"Should've been more careful, Faithy. After all, knowing I'm on the loose and just patrolling recklessly? Tsk, tsk. Thought I would've taught you better than that."

"Figured I could bring your ass down, straight away," Faith replied, defiantly sticking her chin out.

"Proved how stupid you are then, didn't I?" Angelus grinned as he walked around her chair again, leather pants squeaking with each step. He put his hand to his mouth. "Now, what can I do to really annoy you?"

"Just keep talking, it's grating my nerves already."

Angelus grinned evilly and looked down at Faith's now bare feet. He reached for the mallet on the table and smacked her big toe with it, relishing the little snap it made.

Faith gritted her teeth as he continued to break the rest of her toes, one by one.

"No screaming, Faithy?"

"Never," Faith said through her teeth.

Angelus frowned. "Hmm, then how about..." He went around the back of her chair and snapped her pinky finger on her right hand. "Still no screams? Hmm..." He snapped the rest of her fingers, one by one.

Faith's head fell back. The pain...

"You're good, I'll give you that, Slayer."

"I know, you don't have to tell me." Faith smiled weakly.

"But still no screaming... don't be shy, we're miles from anyone. And uh, just as a tip, this place is sealed magickally, so your little whitelighter friend can't get in here." Angelus pulled Faith's knife out of his pocket. "So..."

"That's mine!"

"You're about to get it back," Angelus grinned. He twisted it in his hands. "So... shall we?" He sliced down the side of Faith's left cheek, then cocked his head. "Lacks symmetry." He reached over and cut an identical scratch into her right cheek.

Faith bit her lip.

"Oh, don't bite that, I'll do it." Angelus leant over and kissed her roughly, and bit again into her lip, drinking the blood that poured out from it. He then leaned over and licked the scratches on her cheeks.

"Get away from me," Faith said.

"Sure. Say the magic word."

"NOW!"

"Ehhh! Wrong answer! I'm sorry, for that you will have to pay the penalty!" Angelus said evilly. He bent her arm back and snapped it, then cut a long, deep line and used his hands to pry the skin apart, grinning as he saw the bone. He bent his head and drank in some of the blood, then pulled away. "You know, if you scream, it'll all be over soon."

"You'll... never... hear... me... scream."

"Funny, isn't it? After all the torturing you've done, you didn't honestly expect it to happen to you, did you? Remember when you tortured Wes? Hmmm... what was it, blunt, hot, cold, loud, sharp? Let's try that, shall we? Well, we've done sharp. How about blunt?" Angelus put the knife down out of Faith's reach and lifted the mallet again, and brought it down over Faith's head. She grit her teeth again to stop from screaming. He chuckled and hit her again and again, until she passed out from the pain.

Faith came to, feeling a slight sizzling at her neck. She opened her swollen eyes to see a blurred version of Angelus holding a lighter in front of her face.

"It took you long enough," Angelus remarked. "Now, I think I solved the Slayer regeneration thing... by drinking your blood, I keep you weak. So lucky me."

"Bully... for... you..." Faith moaned.

"That's right. Now... we did hot already... how about... cold?" Angelus grinned as he picked Faith's chair up and dumped her into a bathtub of ice.

Faith's eyes opened all the way as the freezing ice burnt through her skin, stinging in all the places she'd been burned and cut.

"Guess I'll let you stay there for awhile." Angelus saluted and left, returning some time later with a towel. He pulled Faith out and wrapped the towel around her shoulders. "Good bath?" he teased, his lips turning up into a cruel smirk. "Now, I have a favour to ask of you."

Faith shivered violently, her body an alarming shade of blue.

"Can you do something for me?"

"Fu- "

"Now, now, no need for language!" Angelus backhanded her.

Faith let out a small cry. "What... do... you... want?"

"I'm gonna let you go... but I'll be back. Now, I need you to take care of yourself, Faithy. Because when I finally kill you, I wanna make it long and painful."

He untied Faith and picked her up, took her outside and walked a few hundred metres down the road. He set her down and lifted her feet, cutting the soles of them to pieces. "Stay safe, Faithy."

He turned around, and left.

Faith fell to the ground. "Paige..." she called weakly.

Paige orbed in and saw Faith. "Oh God!" She ran over and orbed her back to her house and healed all her cuts and bruises.

Faith's eyes opened tiredly. "Thanks."
