AiMsTeR and Nessa

AJ

AJ was looking through her father's address book.

She'd been looking into stealing some more money from him - as she had been for a while - and found this instead.

"Landers."

Her eyes traced her index finger down the page.

She tapped Noah's father's phone number when she came to it, then her eyes widened.

Just below, was his emergency phone number. It was Noah's.

"Oh my, oh my, oh my..."

She almost dropped the book in her rush for the phone. Who cared if her father saw the phone bill? He couldn't stop her calling him.

She dialled his number frantically, then did drop the book.

Noah

Noah rolled over and tiredly picked up the phone. He looked at the screen and didn't recognise the number, but decided to answer anyway.

He cleared his throat.

"Yeah?"

AJ

AJ's heart practically jumped into her throat at the sound of his voice.

Even though it was kinda croaked.

"Noah?" she began.

"Is this a bad time? It's only... oops. Well, four am for ya."

She chuckled a little.

Noah

Noah sat up, his sleepiness forgotten.

"AJ?!" he practically shouted.

He took a sip of water and cleared his throat again.

"How did you get this number? Not that I'm not thankful," he said.

AJ

"Oh my God," AJ closed her eyes and fell back onto a couch.

"I was looking through dad's stuff to see if I could find money, and I came across one of his address books. I decided to look up your dad, but... he had your number as an emergency one, so yeah..."

NOah

"Oh well how are you? What've you been doing? I'm just so happy to hear your voice again!"

Noah couldn't stop smiling even if he wanted to.

AJ

"I've been PINING! Pining, pining, pining... pining for you," she pouted.

"A few of my friends sprung a surprise on me... you know how I wanted to start a band? They started one for me. There's just me, the basist Tash - my best friend, Dave the keyboardist and Ross the guitarist. Tash and Dave sing some."

She fiddled with the covering on the couch.

"I can't concentrate though."

Noah

Noah let out a little laugh.

"I know how that feels, babe," he told her.

He rubbed his eyes.

"We had a gig last night, and I was just thinking about you the whole time. And Adam had a party a week ago, and I missed you the whole time. This whole long distance thing is unfair."

AJ

"Noah... I don't know if you got told... but I was not a willing participant," she shook her head.

"I woke up in my own bed wondering where the hell I was. I mean, my own father practically kidnapped me. I've been so freaking pissed at him ever since we got back."

She clenched her fist.

"So, at the moment I'm stealing his money, to afford a one-way ticket to Tulsa."

Noah

"I figured... I woke up and I got a note from my Dad telling me you'd gone home."

Noah lay back against his pillows.

"Hey, I can always come over there. I can probably create a real airline ticket. Or wait... Paige could orb me over!"

AJ

AJ's heart was back in her throat.

"She... she can orb that far?!" she exclaimed.

"Oh please! Noah, if you can... Please, come. Come and get me, as soon as you can. I have to get out of here, or I'm going to be down for the murder of my father!"

Noah

"Well, how about this... Paige won't want to be woken up right now... so how about say... five hours? I'll come over at nine?"

Noah grinned, then wondered where she would stay.

Well, she could stay with the Halliwells. Or Pete, or Adam, or Chris.

AJ

"Oh my God Noah. Yes! Yes, I don't care! But... you don't know where I am."

She bit her lip.

"Just... can she just come to Perth? The city itself? I'll get... I'll get the band and say I'm going to movies and we can meet you at the city train station. It's kinda huge, you can't miss it," she crossed her fingers.

Noah

"Yeah, it shouldn't be a problem. I'm sure she'll do that."

Noah sighed and settled back down, sleepiness taking over.

"Can I see you then? I'm kinda tired."

AJ

"Yes, oh yes. Get some sleep," AJ insisted, practically hugging the phone.

"I'll see you then. Love you. I missed you."

And they said their goodbyes.

AJ hung up with a smile on her face, waited a moment, then called Tasha.

"Hello?"

"Tash? Are you busy tonight?"

"No... w-"

"Good. We're going out."
