25 August 2003 - Stalking Leo.

Joy and Tegan

Leo D

Lily was bored. She was sick of being told to stay in the house, and only go hunting with her whole family. Then she heard that Leonardo DiCaprio was living in Brooklyn. She had been obsessed with the actor for years. She hunted him down, and was waiting for him outside his apartment when he showed up.

"Excuse me, I'm lost," Lily said, willing tears to come to her eyes.

"Okay, sweetie,. where are you trying to get to?"

"I need to find the subway to get back to Manhattan."

"Okay," he said, smiling at the 13-year-old. "I'll walk you to the subway station," he promised, then he put his arm around her. She took her chance. JUmping him, she sunk her fangs into his neck, wincing at the botter taste of the alien blood. Then she opened her own vein, to share her life with his. He drank, hungrily. When he was dry, she pulled him into the alley, and waited for him to awaken. Finally he did.

"How are you, my Leo, darling?" Lily asked.

"Hungry." he replied. She took him out, and they fed. Hours later, when the dawn was approaching, they returned to Dru's home.

"Mommy, Granny Dru, Papa Sabre, I brought somebody home for you to meet!" she called out.

Sabre

"Lily! Where have you been?" Sabre growled as he stalked over to her and put a hand on her shoulder, shaking her a little. "You *know* we have to stay undercover." Sabre had recovered from the heat his mother had placed over him and his siblings a few days ago and was able to function normally again. As normal as it got, anyway. He barely spared Leo a glance.

Leo D

"This is my new friend," Lily replied. "He's part of the family now. He's my Leo." She laid her head on his shoulder, and Leo wrapped his arms around his sire.

"Hey, Sabre. We;ve met before," he said, grinning ferally.

Sabre

Sabre stared at him for a moment. "Oh, Jaysus Christ. Lily, you little fool..." He clenched his fist. "You *stupid*, stupid bint..."

Lily

"He's mine. I've wanted him forever. So I hunted him down, and made him mine," she said, grinning, and leaning back into Keo's strong arms.

Sabre

Sabre snarled, lips lifting to display strong fangs as his eyes flared. "You *idiot*. You *never* turn famous people." He slapped her across the face, claws cutting shallow tracks of blood across her skin. "You forget who you belong to. Do I need to remind you?" Luka's face twitched.

Lily

Lily looked down shamefaced. "BUt I was never told. I did not know. He's not really in the limelight anymore anyways. Can't he just, retire or something?" she asked, remorseful.

Sabre

"Dru, you talk to her!" Sabre spun around on his heel, growling and snapping. "I can't protect ye if they do things like this!"

Dru

Dru walked into the room, hissing. She pulled off Lily's ring, and handed Sabre a bag of vampire torture items: cross, holy water, a stake.

"You do with her what you please. I wash my hands of her. But make Luka watch, and do with him as you please, as well," she decided, stomping off to be with the family that still obeyed her.

Sabre

"Luka, stand there," Sabre growled. Luka moved into the corner of the room to watch, golden tinged eyes barely blinking. Sabre turned to Lily, fairly vibrating with rage. But before he did anything, he knocked out Leo in a series of punchs and chained him to a handy pair of metal rings Sabre had embedded in the wall of the room. It paid to be prepared. He knew the fledge would soon come around and waited for Leo to wake back up as he eyed Lily, who was shivering with fear. She'd really messed up this time. "Ye have been a bad, bad girl, Lily," he said quietly. "Ye put my mate and my kittens in danger. I don't like tha' at *all*. Ye were given yer orders, and ye disobeyed them."

Lily

"I'm sorry, Daddy, I'm so sorry," Lily wept, frightened for her life for the first time since she'd been turned. "PLease don't kill me, " she begged.

Sabre

Sabre smiled coldly as he said mock-gently, "but Lily, you're already dead." He didn't look like the Sabre that laughed and played around with all of them anymore. He was a cold remote stranger with rage firing his eyes. He took a knife from out of his boot, and took her hand in his. With one swift movement, he pinned her hand to the wall with his knife. She screamed, and he did it again on the other hand with a new knife. Her fingers spasmed around the shining blades.

Lily and Luka

Lily screamed in pain, and then felt the cold steel blade against her throat. The pain was too much to bear. It one swift motion, she threw herself onto the knife, decapitating herself. When the dust settled, Luka looked on wide-eyed. He would never cross Sabre again, that was for sure. In fact, he had half a mind to take Rosie and get gone. Just disappear, and roam the earth with his beloved.

Sabre

"Weak," Sabre commented, then brushed Lily's dust off his jacket with a tsk. "I thought she'd be able to take a lot more before I dusted her." He flexed his fingers, then jerked the knives out of the wall, and replaced them in his boots. "Let that be a lesson to ye." In one swift movement, Sabre was across the room and slamming Luka's head into the wall. "Do *anything* that puts Dru and me kittens in danger and I'll do ye worse. Get me, boyo?"

Luka

Luka nodded, wide-eyed. As soon as Rosie was ready, they were taking off, that was certain. He'd never seen a dusting before. When Leo awoke, he was alone. He could smell Lily's ashes, and looked frightened. Because he was an alien vampire, he was stronger than the average vampire. He easily broke the chain and snuck out of the house. There was no way he was staying there.

Sabre

Sabre stalked around the halls of the house, tense stance warning all the vampires who were left of his continuing ill mood. They left him alone to get rid of it.
