Faith and Paige
Faith and Paige orbed behind the HOB in Las Vegas.
"Good luck," Paige said.
Faith nodded and waved as Paige left. She took a deep breath and started in the direction of the HOB, then paused. She shook her head and took off in the other direction. She needed time to think of what she was going to say to Zac.
Faith smiled as she heard them start to play. She didn't really want to hang around, so she figured she'd go for a walk, maybe try her hand at patrolling again. Her first attempt since she'd lost her memory had sent hadn't been too bad.
Hearing a scuffle up ahead, Faith squinted, straining to see. She slowed down slightly and cautiously made her way over. She found a pack of six vampires, surrounding three teenagers. Faith felt slightly nervous, she didn't even have a stake. She looked around for a makeshift weapon when one of the vampires spotted her. It grinned savagely and alerted the others. They all turned to look at her.
"Well, what do we have here?"
Faith fidgeted nervously, but instinctively she balled her hands into fists. She stood up a little straighter.
"Not gonna run?"
Faith shook her head. Her eyes were still darting around, looking for a weapon. She spotted a popiscle stick on the ground. It was going to have to do. They vampires were closing in on her, and she ducked down, grabbed the stick and kicked her leg out, tripping one vampire. She stood and twisted away from the other, and sent the stake to it's mark. She staked two more before one of them grabbed Faith and slammed her against a building. She blinked, her memory coming flooding back. While she was distracted, the vampire that held her, punched her in the face and leant in for the kill.
"Note to self, learn to duck."
Faith roundhouse kicked with a smile. She staked the vampire and dusted her hands off, her smile getting wider as the remaining vampires ran off in the oppsite direction. She looked at the three teenagers, who were standing speechless.
"You're welcome," Faith said. She saluted and headed back to the House Of Blues, pleased she could remember everything. This would make seeing Zac a little easier, she supposed.
Distracted in her thoughts, she didn't notice or sense the demon behind her. She heard a scream and then she felt herself being thrown to the ground. She looked up in confusion to see one of the girls standing there facing the large demon which had been behind Faith.
"A potential," Faith said, climbing to her feet, just as the demon punched through the girl's head. She backed away and watched numbly as the demon left.
