16 August 2003 - Dru learns of mojo

Joy and Tegan

Dru

Drusilla could not belive her vision. No, it was not possible. She confronted, Sabre, both happy, and unhappy.

"You nasty little boy. There is evil magick in the air, and I blame you." She pushed him back onto the bed.

"Because you went all kitty-like, and burned with desire, now I have your babies in me." Dru was pissed. Vampires were not supposed to bear children, and she fully blamed Sabre for this new discovery.

Sabre

"I, what?" Sabre looked at her puzzled. "*I* had nothing to do with it, lovely. I still don't know what that was." Then he backtracked the converstaion in his head. His face lit up. "You serious, lovely? You're having kittens?"

Dru

"YEs my dear. The stars never lie, and I can feel their souls already, though they are tiny." Dru stretched. The stars were telling her that because of her kittens' parentage, she'd only be pregnant for less than 2 months.

"Yes, and they'll be due soon. Just a few weeks, my darrrrrrling," she grinned, a little happier now. She always loved having children to corrupt.

Sabre

Sabre pushed his face against her stomach, sensitive hearing alreayd picking up the small heartbeats. "I have no words, I'm so happy. I ne'er thought I'd..." He looked up at Drusilla. "I hope Priss be having kittens with her Watcher. She deserves it. She always wanted kittens, but we thought that we all be barren..."

Dru

"'Twas the Heat," Dru responded. "Much magick exsisted in it. I also wonder if they exist is prophesy," she mused. "Oh, Sabby, dear. I'm hungry. I want the blood of a child, and taco chips."

Sabre

"Ok, lovely..." Sabre raised his eyebrows slightly. "ROSIE!"

"Yes, Papa?"

"Go and get Drusilla whatever she wants."

"What do you want, Mama?"

Dru

Dru though, and then fell back, gracefuklly onto the bed. "I wish for a child, still very small. Taco chips, and Cherry Garcia ice cream," she declared, drawing pictures in the air with her fingers.

Sabre

"Well, ye heard her, go and get it," Sabre ordered. Rosemary nodded, then left. "She'll get it all for ye, my lovely."

Dru

About twenty minutes later, Rosemary came back with a bag with the ice cream and chips, and holding the hand of a four-year old boy. Dru stared into the bou's eyes, hypnotizing him.

"Come sit on Mummy's lap, darling," she said, smiling, and he climbed up onto her lap. Dru quickly sunk her teeth in, and drank him almost dry. Then she emptied some of his blood into a bowl, and dunked the chips in. She smiled up at Sabre with a blood mustache.

"Mmmmm, I can see them, in the stars, my darling. Four of them, there are," she grinned. Oh, my Sabby, we must go shoping. To get a pram, and clothing, and we must make room for them in the nursery, where the twins are." then she frowned.

"Should we find a widwife?"

Sabre

"Hapi would be glad to, my lovely." Sabre crawled over the bed to her and laid his head against her stomach, eyes still full of wonder. "You, my love, are thre most perfect being on the face of this planet."

"Should I...?" Rosemary indicated the corpse.

"Aye, clean it up, thank ye kindly, Rosie lass." Sabre purred.

Dru

Rosie did, and Dru rose to her feet.

"Let's go shopping, my love. We have so many things to buy. Two double prams, baby clothes, dollies, toys, cristening gowns, nighties, oh, we must buy everything!" Dru said, happily.

"I never thought I'd have babies from the womb, and they feel so pretty, scratching me with their tiny claws."

Sabre

"S'good then lovely. Ye be alright with it? My Mam must've done something..." Sabre was still slightly worried. "We can buy everything ye and the babes will need." He got a goofy grin. "Me, a da. I ne'er would've picked it."

Dru

"It is fitting. Thousands of years, and never a baby. You will be a passionate father," Dru declared, and then linked her arm through his. Even now, her belly was continually growing, in only a month, she'd be full term.

"May we take a carriage?" she asked, hopefully. Though she'd gotten used to cars, one thing Dru loved anout New York, was the horse-drawn carriages that still existed, like the ones she'd ridden in as a child.

Sabre

"Anything your heart desires, my lovely." Sabre was still awestruck by the fact that she was having his babies. HIs mind wasn't working so well. "Luka! Call for a horse and carriage for milady."

Dru

Luka did, still astonished that his grandsire would be having kittens. Dru and Sabre climed into the carriage, and set off for some of the finest shops in NYC.

Sabre

"What do you think, Drusilla, my lovely?" Sabre fussed over Dru as they walked through a baby store. He picked out some cute little girl outfits all white and dripping with lace.

Dru

"It's perfect," Dru decided. "Nothing is too perfect for my babies. Let's see, we'll need, cradles, prams, oh, just about everything," she took Sbare's hand, and placed it on her belly, which was noticably larger than the day before. Only a week, and she was starting to show. Hmmmm.

Sabre

"Aye." Sabre nodded, then went through and basically bought out the store. He had enough money to do it. They spent an extralong time in the toy department.
