Gwen and Oz
Gwen rolled over to find herself lying next to Oz. She rubbed her eyes and felt a dull thudding in the back of her head. She had been way too high and way too drunk last night. Not good.
Oz opened his eyes and smiled at her.
"Morning," he murmured, looking like he was going to go back to sleep.
"Morning." Gwen sat up and covered herself with the sheet, reaching beside the bed for her clothes. She put them on quickly. "Hey, Oz, sorry about last night. I was just really upset."
Oz shrugged. "Yeah, it's cool," he said, yawning.
"So... it's not all weird?"
"Um... no."
"Cool. Well, I'm leaving today, so uh, yeah. Thanks. For last night. It helped."
"Always glad to be of service."
"Bye."
"Later." Oz yawned again and rolled over on his side, going back to sleep.
Gwen shook her head in slight amusement and slipped her shoes on. She tip toed into her room and grabbed her bags, then headed for her car, which was still parked in the garage. She started it and drove away from the school as fast as she could, and without a look back.
She flipped her indicator on and turned into a gas station, filled up, then drove to the nearest McDonalds and got some breakfast, before making the drive from NY to LA.
