Nyx and Mordred
Nyx stalked through the school, skin strumming with tension. She felt all...itchy. She shook her head restlessly and uttered a small wavering cry. Logan was sleeping, and she was bored and she felt so hot... Nyx hmmphed to herself as she walked through the empty hallways. Most of the kids had gone home after the whole world not coming to an end thing.
Mordred stepped out of his and Gwen's room and nodded at Nyx. "Hey, Nyx..."
Nyx's eyes gleamed as she stalked over to Mordred. "Hey, wolfie." She plastedered herself to his chest and rubbed herself sinously along his body. Mordred gaped for a moment, then tried to push her off, unable to 'port while she was touching him.
"Nyx, what the hell are you doing? What about Gwen? And Logan? I love Gwen!"
"I just want a little fun, wolfie..." Nyx purred, emerald eyes sparkling. Want me, need me, want me... Mordred's eyes went dazed.
She smelt so good, and she felt so right...
"Do you want me? I know you do. Good boy." Nyx smiled slowly, then reached behind him to open the door. Mordred stumbled backwards as her hands went to his pants. "Where's Gwen?"
"She's...out..." Mordred replied slowly, feeling like there was something very very wrong with this situation but unable to put his finger on it. When Nyx drew his mouth down to hers, he stopped thinking all together. Nyx waved the door shut with a sweep of her hand and then pushed Mordred down onto the bed.
"Let's see why Gwen is so happy all the time..." Nyx got Mordred's clothes off. "Well...that's not bad, not bad at all." She grinned, and then pounced. Mordred was lost, burning up.
Gwen and Bobby
Gwen was talking to Bobby went she felt something strange in her mind. No, Mordred couldn't be...
"Hey, Bobby, I gotta go. We'll catch up later, yeah?"
"Sure." He looked confused.
Gwen stood and kissed his head lightly, then headed out to find Mordred. She tried their room first and opened the door to see...
"Oh god."
Nyx and Mordred
Nyx stretched langourously and then slipped out of the bed to get her clothes. Mordred covered his eyes with his hands in shame. He didn't know what had come over him. He, oh god, he had cheated on Gwen. With Nyx. The catwoman slithered into her clothes and pulled on her boots.
"He's very talented, Gwen," Nyx said conversationally.
"Nyx, *please*, just go," Mordred said in a hoarse voice. He couldn't even bear to look at her but he could feel her in his head. Oh god, cariad, I'm so sorry.
"What kind of person would I be if I just skipped and ran?"
What the hell did you do to me, Nyx?
"Well, wolfie, if you don't know, Gwen hasn't been teaching you too good." Nyx wriggled her top on over head. "I'm surprised you can speak coherently after that. Most guys pass out."
"Go away Nyx, before I find out how I can kill you." Mordred's voice was icy.
"That's not polite, wolfie."
"Stop *calling* me that."
Gwen
Gwen felt tears in her eyes but she pushed them aside.
"I..."
Her expression turned icy.
"Looks like I'm in the wrong room. Sorry about that."
She turned and walked away, then as soon as she thought she was at a safe distance, she broke into a run, tripping over a bump in the carpet and cutting her leg. She cursed then got up and limped away.
Nyx, Mordred and Vortigern
Mordred could feel her heart breaking, and his broke along with it. He raised icy eyes to stare at Nyx, the pupils dilated so his eyes were almost black. "What the hell did you do to me?" He hissed at her. "I remember telling you to back off, and then it's all like a blank."
"Well, now I feel insulted. No chance of another round then?"
"Get out before I forget I don't hit women." Nyx looked at him, and he got out of the bed, forgetting he was naked. "GET OUT!" He grabbed her arm and pushed her out the door, slamming it closed behind her. He crumpled to the ground and started to weep in deep chest tearing sobs.
Nyx sniffed in disdain, then went to go find another guy. Man, was she hungry today. Like she just couldn't get enough. Nyx swayed down the corridor, looking like a woman who had been extremely well laid.
Mordred? What's wrong? Vortigern asked his twin worriedly. All he received was a wordless wail of grief, despair and a deep soulclenching shame. "Spike...something's up with Mordred. And it involves Nyx." What's wrong? Let me see.
Oh god, Gwen. Gwen, I'm so sorry. I love you so much. I'm so sorry, love. So very, very sorry.
"C'mon, I'm really worried now." Vortigern got up and set off to his twin and Gwen's room. "Gwen, what happened? Mordred is just howling in my head...you're hurt!" Vortigern looked at her worriedly. "What happened?"
Gwen
Gwen stared at her leg blankly, unaware of the pains in her leg while she was feeling the pains in her heart.
"I'm ok. I'm ok. I'm ok."
She hugged her knees to her chest and rocked gently.
"It's ok, it's ok."
Mordred
"It's obviously not, luv," Spike said gently as Vortigern knelt beside her. "Sides, I can smell blood. Did ya fall down?"
"I can...Spike, go check on Mordred for me, please? I get the feeling he's going to do something very, very stupid..."
"Sure thing, pet," Spike said as he ruffled Vortigern's hair and then walked off.
"Gwen, please, talk to me. If I really have to, I'll go rummage in Mordred's head but I want to hear what happened from you first."
Mordred curled in around himself and wept harder, feeling on the verge of vomiting. Oh god. How could he have done that?
Gwen
Gwen turned to look at Vortigern, her face wet with tears, her eyes raw.
"Mordred... he... oh god."
She burst into a fresh set of tears and hugged her knees tighter.
"He... slept with Nyx."
Vortigern and Nyx
"Oh, Gwen..." Vortigern enfolded her in his arms and rocked slightly, thinking furiously. Now, that wasn't at all like Mordred. Not at all. After that one diasastrous incident, his twin had vowed never to hurt someone like that ever. "It doesn't sound like him, at all. Oh god, Logan's gonna kill him. Idiot. Stupid, stupid..." He tried to think of a way to get to the bottom of this. "I can...sometimes, see into Mordred's memories. He can do the same to me. Do you want me to look, and see what happened?" He offered to Gwen, knowing it was scant consolation. He thought he'd look himself later, just to see for himself.
Spike walked down the corridors, then his nostrils flared as he caught a waft of an utterly bewitching scent. When Nyx appeared, he was a bit puzzled. "Hey, Nyx-mmph!" Her mouth was all over his, and her claws sliced his top into ribbons. "Hey!" He tried to push her away. She was so hot.
Nyx pouted. "Don't you wanna play, Spikey? You always used to want to..."
Gwen
Gwen cried harder.
"I don't care. I don't care anymore. I'm going to go back to LA tomorrow."
She wiped her eyes.
"Then I'm going to move. Somewhere else. Anywhere."
Vortigern, Nyx and Mordred
"Don't do anything stupid while you're upset," Vortigern cautioned her. "That kinda doesn't work, if you remember?"
Spike pushed Nyx away from him and she sprawled on the floor. Raising her lip, she snarled at him, sounding distinctly animal. "*No*," he said firmly.
"Mordred said the same thing at first, and then he said yes. Don't you wanna say yes, Spikey? Don't you want to watch someone bleed? You could chain me up and whip me," she offered sultrily.
"I said no, and I meant bleeding no!" Spike stormed off with his duster snapping around his ankles. Nyx pouted, then went off to find another guy who wouldn't be so stubborn. Once he was out of sight, Spike leaned weakly against a wall. She had smelt so good, and he'd wanted to give in so badly...it reminded him almost of the glamours his ripe wicked plum could pull on her prey. That thought nagged at him.
Mordred shivered on the floor, coughing as he fought to get air into his lungs over his tortured weeping.
Gwen
Gwen hugged Vortigern.
"I know, and thank you for being here. I just... oh I don't know. I'm angry and hurting and yeah."
She started to cry again.
"I just don't get it."
Mordred and Vortigern
"And I've got to tell you Gwen, neither do I. Mordred just...doesn't *do* shit like this. And he is so totally in love with you, I'm surprised he can even see the rest of us." Vortigern shook his head. "But he obviously did. And I don't know why. Don't even know how, really."
Spike entered Mordred's room and found the teen keening on the floor like a dog. He sighed, closed the door behind him and shoved Mordred in the shower. "Get washed."
Mordred turned on the hot tap, hotter and hotter, until it was practically burning his skin. He looked blankly at the soap while tears coursed down his face to mingle wih the streams of water pouring from the showerhead. He started to scrub fiercley, hating the scent, the *miasma* that clung to his skin. He scrubbed so hard he started to bleed.
Vortigern winced slightly. "Ow. That is gonna sting like a bitch in the morning..." He rubbed his own arm slightly. "YOu're allowed to be angry and hurting."
Gwen
"And now he's hurting you. Are you ok?" Gwen asked, peering at him in concern.
She wiped her eyes, not realising the fruitlessness, as the tears kept coming as soon as she wiped them away.
"After all this crap we went through, I just don't get it."
Vortigern, Mordred and Nyx
"I'm fine. Youi know where he is right now? He's in the shower scrubbing his skin so hard he's starting to bleed. He doesn't even know how he could do this." Vortigern dug in his pocket and then handed her a tissue. "Here."
Nyx prowled through the halls, then spotted another male. Sergei. He was a strong male...with very little discussion, she dragged him into an empty room and they had sex. More then once.
Spike smoked a cigarette and listened to Mordred's choking sobs. He shook his head slightly. He was betting the cause of this lay with Nyx. No bloke who cheated on a bird willingly reacted this badly once it was over, even if they had been caught.
Gwen
"Good. I hope he's suffering."
Gwen accepted the tissue from him and wiped her eyes.
"I don't mean that."
Vortigern and Mordred
"Yes, you did, and it's ok to mean it." Vortigern shrugged slightly. "He's acted like an arsehole."
Mordred finally stumbled out of the shower and clung shaking to the edge of the vanity. His eyes fell on the razor next to the sink, and he lifted it with one hand, before removing the razorblade.
"OW! SHIT!" Vortigern yelped and clutched his right wrist. "Mordred, you stupid, stupid boy..." He examined the skin of it and a thin red line had appeared. "Now, that hasn't happened for a long time." Spike, find him, please.
Spike burst into the bathroom when he smelt blood. He found Mordred raeadying the razorblade for another slash. He struck it out of Mordred's hand and then pinched the artery that the teen had slashed, stopping the flow of blood. "You little idiot..."
Mordred glared up at him. "Let me die."
"You don't knnow what this would do to your brother! I won't let you do this to him," Spike growled as he rapidly bound the injured wrist in a bandage. Luckily, Mordred kept a full medkit in the bathroom.
Gwen
Gwen reached over and took Vort's wrist. She rubbed it gently and frowned.
"God, he just hurts everyone. But you don't deserve to feel that."
Logan and Vortigern
"He felt my cutting...and I cut for a lot longer then one slash." Vortigern looked down at his wrist moodily. "I'm glad I sent Spike to look after him. He won't die then."
Logan woke up and stretched out his hand for Nyx. He frowned slightly. Where could she have gone? He got up out of bed and got dressed, before going to find her.
Gwen
Gwen nodded, pulled her hand away from Vort's and ignored the itching in her own wrist. She needed to do something to let her anger out. She'd get drunk tonight. Or kill something. That would make her feel better.
And then tomorrow, she would leave the school and run. Just go anywhere, it didn't matter anymore.
"You can go find him, if you want. I'm ok."
Gwen gritted her teeth angrily, knowing that Vortigern would probably sense she was angry. The dead giveaway was the fact she was now encased in electricity.
Vortigern, Mordred and Nyx
Vortigern winced. "Try not to get yourself killed." He got up. "Or do something that could land you in gaol. You sure you're alright?"
Nyx stretched sensously, the heat still filling her and beguiling her senses. She felt...like her skin was alive and she could feel everything on it. She wanted, no, *needed* to be touched. She mewed quietly, then saw Devon. "DEVVIE!"
"Hey Nyx-oof!" She pounced and started to kiss his face. "Ok, unexpected."
"Want you. *Now*. Bedroom?"
Mordred got dressed mechanically as Spike watched.
Gwen
"I'm fine." Gwen reached out and patted his arm. "Thanks," she said sincerely.
She turned to the window again and absent mindedly reached into her bag for a smoke. She pulled one out and lit up, hoping it would calm her nerves.
It didn't.
Vortigern, Mordred and Nyx
"Be safe, Gwen." Vortigern looked at her, knowing she wasn't alright. "Any requests for broken bones?"
Nyx opened the door to the bedroom Oz and Devon were sharing and led him inside. Thankfully, Oz wasn't there. She started moving her top over her head and Devon watched appreciatively as he started to take off his own clothes.
Mordred followed Spike numbly down to the Mediclab, then he paused and put his hand against a wall. He started to shiver violently. Spike went back to him.
"You alright, mate?"
"Feel like I've got the flu..." Mordred looked up at him out of a white face, his eyes like holes in his head. Then his eyes rolled up and he collapsed on the floor.
"Bloody hell!" Spike bent, and slung Mordred over his shoulder in a fireman's carry.
Vortigern swayed with dizziness, then sat down abruptly. "Ohhh, that's not good." He looked up at Gwen. "I have to go see what's wrong with Mordred. He...just fainted in the middle of the hallway, even though you're probably thinking he deserves everything he gets right about now..."
Gwen
Gwen nodded. "Good."
She followed him from the room and headed outside to sit alone on the basketball courts.
Mordred and Vortigern
Vortigern shook his head slightly as he moved down to the medlabs. "What happened?" He asked Spike worriedly as he entered. The vampire looked up from the bed where Mordred was lying, mumbling occasionally and skin glistening with fever sweat. Vortigern swayed slightly, picking up on the distress from his twin.
"Burns...Gwen, please...it burns..."
Spike got up and led Vortigern into the seat. "Sit down, luv. The doc doesn't have a clue why he's doing this. Now, the only thing to do is to try and bring the fever down and make sure he doesn't get dehydrated."
Gwen
Gwen screamed loudly, holding on for as long as possible. She sent bolts of electricity into the sky, then surrounded herself in electricity, killing any animal that went past her.
"You bastard!"
Mordred, Vortigern and Varian
Mordred shook violently, and Hank rushed out to tend to his patient.
"Please, I know he'll apprecaite the thought, but I need you to leave now." Hank slid an IV needle into Mordred's arm.
"O-ok. If there's any change, please, can I come back down?" Vortigern asked meekly.
"Of course." Hank nodded, and Spike led Vortogern out of the room.
Varian purred softly as s/he frolicked through the electricity that Gwen had summoned. It ran over his/her scales like water.
Gwen
Gwen continued to shoot out electricity until she finally broke down into a heap, crying her eyes out. She remained that way until Oz came out to find her.
