Julie
The car pulled up at the Williams' and Julie got out of the car.
"How did the course go?" asked her mother.
"It was good," Julie replied. "Very informative."
Julie felt so guilty about that. She had told them she had found out about a one week course for expecting mothers, especially for teens.
She had told them a lie. A horrible, horrible lie. Julie was so relieved they had stopped the bombs. She never would have lived with herself if her family had died.
And she had told them a lie. A lie she could never take back or be forgiven for.
It was moments like this she wished that she had never found out about aliens. But then, it was probably worse for the actual aliens - having to lie to everyone who didn't know, all the time.
"That's good," said Mrs Williams. "Here, let me help you with that bag."
"Thank you."
Julie observed that her mother at least had been more accepting of her pregnancy lately. Mr Williams was still as... as still has he had been at the beginning.
Her poor mother. Julie still had to leave. She couldn't bring up an alien baby in this house without her parents noticing and she knew Mrs Williams wanted to spend time with her first grandchild.
She felt so guilty.
