Emma Frost and Xavier Institutes, Lilah and Mystique
Emma Frost stood at the forcefield she had got constructed to protect her, her students & her school from the potential bombing. Nothing looked destroyed to her. She decided to let it down. Once she pressed the button to down the forcefield, the power for the building's came back on.
Angelica, Wanda, Jennifer & James were all standing in the main lounge when the power came back on. All the lights & the television & radio all came on.
"...devestation in Kansas..." the Television blared out as the four teens watched to screen in horror. Jennifer ran off toward's the bathroom, hoping she could hold in her vomit in time to reach it.
Angelica just stood with her hand over her mouth. "Oh my god!" she said to herself. James turned away, not wanting to see the images of the destruction caused. Wanda started to cry & ran to find her brother Pietro.
Manuel, Sharon & Marie all walked into the room to see what was going on. Manuel didn't care. He was too selfish & nasty to care. Sharon just shook her head & then left the room. Marie just stared dismally at the screen.
"Told you so" she simply said & walked out the room.
Julio & Alex were in the kitchen when Wanda ran in.
"Where's Pietro?" she asked, looking at the floor.
"Upstairs. You okay?" Julio said, concerned for his friend.
Wanda just looked at him & he knew something was wrong. He ran into the lounge room & saw the images.
"Oh god!" he said, as Alex walked in behind him. He just stared & then walked out to get Emma.
Moments later, the television switched itself off. It was Emma using her telekinetic powers to do so. She started to talk into their minds.
"I am truly sorry you had to see that children. Please go to your room's. I'll organise for a counsellor to come straight away in case anyone need's one"
All the student's obeyed their headmistress' command. All except for Alex and Angelica.
"Come on" Alex said to her, putting his hand on her shoulder.
Angelica looked at him & then left his grasp & headed for her room. She was hoping everyone at the Xavier's were alright. Although the news said that only Kansa's was effected, she still felt that her friend's may still be in danger.
Half an hour later, at Xavier's Institute, Rahne was finally catching up with Doug. She had missed him while he was on the Space Station & wanted to know all that he had done. After a large amount of time catching up, Rahne noticed something odd.
"Where's Sharon?" she asked suddenly.
"Who?" Doug asked, confused about her sudden query.
"You know, the cat girl I used to fight with."
"Oh yeah. I don't know. Why?" he asked.
"She was in cat form near the fence before. I bet she's snuck out. I don't trust her." Rahne said, getting off the bench the two were sitting on.
"Why? What doe's it matter Rahne?" he asked, getting up & wrapping his arm's around her waist.
"Because, I went to investigate her room but it's pad locked. From the inside!"
"You what?!" he exclaimed, letting go off her.
Rahne turned around & took a step back.
"She's up to something. I know it. She's changed. She doesn't even hiss at me anymore. We are natural enemies Doug! Something is wrong!" Rahne exclaimed towards Doug.
He stopped to think for a second. She was right. They used to be at each other's throat's and now Sharon didn't even look in Rahne's direction.
"I believe you." he said finally. "We'll try to find out more."
"Thank you Doug." she said, pouncing at him & wrapped her arm's around his neck. "I wonder where she is?"
Meanwhile, in a bar on in the heart of Westchester, Lilah Morgan sat waiting for her friend & associate, Mystique, to arrive. She heard a drunk male say behind her "Hey toots!". The next thing Lilah heard was the sound of a human body crashing through a table. Then a woman sat down next to her.
"So much for a quiet entry Mystique." Lilah said plainly & turned to look at the woman, who had taken the form of the red headed beauty known as Raven.
"Hey, I've had no chance to let out my frustrations. Do you know how much that place is a yawn-factory for a teenage girl?" she said, motioning for the bartender to come get her order. "Scotch on the rocks thanks."
"Have you been discovered?" Lilah asked, sculling the rest of her drink.
"No." Mystique replied. "There was a few time's in that god-awful mountian that Wolverine & that annoying Scottish wolf girl came close but I just avoided them."
"Good. Have you got the information?" Lilah asked her. Mystique nodded & passed Lilah the briefcase she was carrying. Lilah opened it to find files & disk's. Lilah closed the briefcase, put in on her lap & then turned back to Mystique & smiled.
"We'll extract you in two day's & you'll be brought back for debriefing. Then, we have a better mission for you." Lilah smiled confidently.
Mystique smiled back. "Excellent. Now, is this finished because I want to go get some action before someone notice's I'm gone."
"Done" Lilah said & walked out the bar, as Mystique walked over to the man sitting at the end of the bar.
In Brazil, Roberto refused to watch or hear any information about the horror's in the US. He kept on repeating to the maid's & servant's who kept bringing it up that "I will be back in the US soon. I will find out then."
Back at Xavier's, Allison was arriving back from her time in London with her father. She couldn't be any happier to be back. She hated her father so much & loved being at the school. As she arrived, she noticed Doug & Rahne sitting on the lawn, holding hand's while they talked. She just frowned,both jealous & disappointed, and got out the car & made her way back to her room.
