7 August 2003 - Mind swap!

Michelle, Nessa, Joy and Tegan

Isaac, Zac, Friday, Rogue, Tate, Oliver and Hunter

The Hansons were at a private party with a bunch of their friends. The Moffatts, Tate, Hunter, Oliver, Friday, Adam, Sabre, Dru and Rogue were all there.

Friday hadn't been happy when she realised Sabre and Dru were there. Those people bugged her.

"Hey Day!" Zac called, pointing very energetically to the seat next to him. "Sit!"

Friday raised and eyebrow, but she sat down.

"What?"

"Look," Zac said, after looking around as if to check for eavesdroppers. "I have a secret to tell you."

"Oh really?" Friday drawlled.

"Yes. You see... I have a voice in my head... which I like to call... the supervoice."

"Uh huh."

"And the supervoice, it's what gives me all my witty comments and jokes and makes sure I remember to do all my homework and stuff like that. Important, intelligent stuff."

"I see," Friday replied, making no attempt to wipe the smirk off her face.

"And then there are the subvoices. And when they get in front of the supervoice, they block it."

"And you can't hear it anymore?"

"No. Not until the subvoice goes away."

"And what do the subvoices say?"

"Oh, they're the ones interested in things like umm, sex and kero and stuff."

"Materialistic buggers huh?"

"Yep."

"They must block your supervoice often."

Zac grinned.

Avery

Avery started to walk over to Isaac to talk to him when she started to feel sick. She grabbed her head as she felt a headache coming on, and she realised she could hear everyone in the room. But their thoughts, not what they were actually saying. Her head was filled with a loud jumble of voices and her eyes started to water from the pain.

"Ow, go away, go away, go away! Go back to your own heads!" she whispered desperately.

She took in a deep breath and tried to focus on getting the voices to leave her head. Suddenly, silence.

Taylor

Taylor jumped back a little, when he found himself looking into Zac's face. A very confused Zac...

Well, he couldn't blame him. One second he was with Mouse, the next sitting next to his brother.

Uh...

"Zac? What..."

Taylor gasped and covered his mouth. That wasn't his voice.

Rogue, Friday and Zac

"I'm not... Zac..." Rogue replied in confusion.

Weird... she sounded different. And come to think of it... she was awfully alone. She put her hand to her head.

"They're... they're gone... all those voices... they're gone!"

Meanwhile, Zac was wondering why he could suddenly feel people's emotions, and more importantly, why he felt like he was going to fall over face forward. He looked down.

"Oh my gosh!" He yelped in a voice that was defintely not his own.

More like Mouse's.

On the other side of the room, Friday was trying to work out how come she wasn't having that crazy discussion with Zac any more. And why she could feel people's emotions.

"What the hell?" she asked.

The deepness of her voice told her she was male but... hang on her mind set hadn't changed. What was going on?

Taylor

Meanwhile, Taylor had noticed something in the way of his arm...

"You're not... Zac?" he asked as he looked down.

"OH my GOD!" he... well, screamed.

"I'm... I'm..."

He ran his - well, her - hands down her body, suddenly coming to the 'nether-regions'.

He cursed.

"Who the hell am I?"

Rogue

"I'm Rogue!" Rogue said. "And I've never met you before. Dang... what's happened?"

She looked at her own body.

"I'm a guy... oh my gosh... look at the size of my arms!"

She flexed one.

"Hey, I have muscle..." her incredulous look turned to a frown. "I... I never thought I'd be lonely without my voices..."

Taylor

"Rogue?" Taylor kind of... forgot about the body he was inf or the moment.

"Rogue? It's me... Taylor... Hanson..."

He looked down again.

"And I... oh!"

He flinched as he felt his body... change. Into a guy.

"Ah... woah?"

Then he looked down again.

"This is more like it..."

Avery

Avery looked around at the confused people. She could hear snippets of what they were saying, but her head was pounding and there was a churning in her stomach.

Something had gone wrong, she could see that, but she didn't have time to worry about that right now.

Avery dry retched, then held a hand up to her mouth and bolted to the bathroom where she began to throw up in the toilet.

Dru, Kitty, Jess and Adam

Kitty had been sitting next to Rogue, when she suddenly looked around and realized she was standing next to Mouse.

"Jane? How did I get over here?" She wondered, when she realized her voice was much lower. "Wait a second. What the heck?" She looked down. Those weren't her clothes. She looked at her crotch. That DEFINATELY wasn't hers.

"Um, whose body am I in?" she asked weakly.

~*~*~

Jess had been sitting on Adam's lap, when she suddenly realized she was standing next to him. Looking at herself.

"Um, what?" she asked. She had Oliver's voice. She reached into her bag, which was sitting next to 'Adam's' chair, and she grabbed her compact.

"Oh my gosh, I'm Oliver!" she yelped.

"Um, yes you are," Adam replied. When he realized he was talking with Jessi's voice. He was no loger holding Jessi, but sitting in his own lap!

"Okay, so if I'm Jess, who are you?" he asked his body.

Dru had been dancing around in circles, when she suddenly realized that she was no longer moving. Instead, a girl was sitting in her lap. And 'she' was aroused. With a penis that she had definately not been born with.

"Oh my goddess, I'm a boy!" she said, surprised. Were the stars playing tricks again? She deposited 'Jessi' into the chair next to 'her' and went running to 'Sabre."

"Sabby, darling, am I a boy? I told you that everything was switching!"

~*~*~

Clint was hearing voices in his head. But these were not the normal emotions he heard. No, these voices were telling him to change. All of a sudden, he was standing next to somebody who looked like Hunter, but wanted him to be Taylor. So, he changed from a girl's body, into Taylor Hanson.

"Well, at least I'm a guy again," he said to Mouse, in Hunter's body.

~*~*~

Dave was still standing next to 'Clint,' but on the other side. And he was much shorter.

"What just happened?" he asked. And then he gasped. "Why am I talking like a girl?" he looked down. He WAS a girl!

Carmen, meanwhile, was freaking out. There were voices in her head. A lot of them, and she was scared. All of these voices seemed just as confused as she felt. She looked down. Okay, she was a guy, this was weird.

"Am I Bob?" she asked 'Scott.'

~*~*~

Bob was freaking out. The voices were gone. And why was he standing next to Rogue? He put his hands on his head and slumped over against a chair. Suddenly, he slipped through the chair, and fell on his back on the floor.

"Oh God! What is happening to me?!"

Rogue, Isaac, Zac, Friday, Oliver, Hunter and Tate

"Impressive," Rogue gulped, looking at Taylor - well, the body Taylor was in. "You're Taylor... wait you called me Zac? I'm in Zac's body?"

She paused looked around.

"Okay that would explain the high hormone level..."

**********

"You're in Taylor's body," Zac replied, putting his hand on a nearby table. "And that must mean... well... I'm in Mouse's body... Have to be, she's probably the only freaking pregnant woman on the station!"

**********

"Don't look at me," Oliver replied to Jessica's boyfried (or at least whoever was in his body, "I'm Oliver, not Sabre. Who are you?"

**********

Isaac found himself standing with Clint and Carmen.

"Umm, okay..." he said. "Why am I over here when I was over there? Not that I don't mind talking to you guys but, y'know... And while we're on the subject, why does my voice sound different?"

"Do I look like I know?" Friday glowered in Clint's body.

"It was a general question."

**********

"Why am I dancing?" Hunter asked himself.

He stopped and looked around. He absently ran his tongue over his... fangs? and eyed everyone hungrily. Then he realised what he was doing and flipped out.

Kitty

"Wait, who are you, if you're not Mouse?" Kitty asked. "Are you Zac?" she asked, still very confused.

Dru

"I'm Drusilla!" she said. She looked around.

"Sabby? Where are you?!" She called out.

Dave

"Well, you're in my body," Dave said a little shaken. "I'm Dave. And I'm thinking I'm in Carmen's body."

Zac

"Yes, I'm Zac. Who are you?" Zac demanded.

**********

"Yeah, you're in Carmen's body," Isaac replied. "Okay, weird. How did this happen?"

"And more importantly, how do we undo it?" Friday said.

Kitty

"Kitty. And, like, chill out, dude. I'm sure it can all be figured out soon."

~*~*~

"I don't know, but I'm betting a telepath was involved," Dave said, feeling rather perturbed.

Zac, Friday and Isaac

"That's easy for you to say," Zac replied. "You're not pregnant!"

Then he groaned.

"Okay, okay I know poetic justice when I'm err, victim to it."

**********

"Telepaths can do this?" Friday asked, wide eyed.'

"It seems telepaths can do a few things," Isaac replied dryly.

Kitty

"NO, and I'm surely glad I'm not pregnant. But," and she shuddered, "I can hear the babies talking."

~*~*~

"A strong telepath can do just about anything with somebody's mind. Take Tanya, for instance. I definitely wouldn't want to get on her bad side." Dave said.

Friday, Zac, Hunter and Isaac

"Yeah... weird..." Zac commented, and frowned. "Why do I have this weird urge to drink people's blood?"

"I'm wondering the same thing," Hunter said.

"I think it's because - whoever you are - you're in Dru's body," Zac commented.

"I'm Hunter. Yeah, that could be it."

"I'm Zac. This is Kitty."

**********

"Who's Tanya?" asked Friday.

"You don't know who Tanya is?" Isaac asked in surprise. "She's a Ga'Revali Master -"

"Which is?"

"Telepathic Martial Arts."

"Oh. I think my stepmother does that..."

"Yeah, well, there are only two Masters, and Tanya's one of them. She's also a YIRAAS Agent. She's rather famous."

"That's nice for her."

Kitty

Kitty was getting very frustrated. So she stood up on a table, and yelled.

"HEY! Okay, I'm not sure what just happened, but I think we need to form a circle and figure it out. Maybe we should start by figuring out who's in whose body."

Avery

Avery wiped her mouth and leant back against the toilet stall door. She took a deep breath and was about to stand up and flush the toilet when her stomach convulsed again. She retched and vomitted into the toilet, holding her stomach and trying to see through her watering eyes.

Her head was still pounding.

She massaged her head gently and stood up and flushed the toilet, grabbing some toilet paper and wiping her mouth. She staggered over to the sink and washed her mouth out, then slipped over and hit her head on the sink.

The last thing she remembered seeing was the tiles as her head hit the ground.

Then it all went black.

Sabre and Natalia

Sabre looked down at the delicate body he was wearing and tried to snarl in frustration. It didn't work well. "What the *hell* is going on? Who the hell am I? And *why the hell am I wearing a collar*?!" He stomped out of the room he was in to try and find people who could explain, long blonde hair spilling around her waist, already starting to unbuckle the heavy leather bands.

Natalia shuddered as she looked around the room. There were people there. She'd been by herself...She started to weep hysterically. There were voices in her head! "Make them stop, make them stop!" She wailed. "Oh god, please make them stop talking!" A high pitched evil snigger echoed through her head. Heya girlie...filthy mutie...hey cherie... Natalia seemed to drown in the voices and memories in her mind. "Nononononononono..."

Mouse

Mouse looked around wildly. Her head was all empy...and why was she standing over here? She'd been next to Taylor. GAH! Babies! Where were the babies? She looked down at herself. Male and very not pregnant. "Ok..." She blinked, then managed to take in some of the conversations. "Zac, all I can say is it serves you right," she said dryly in a much deeper voice. "Learn to love the backpain. It is your mortal enemy. Oh, and can I mention the morning sickness? I almost wish I stay over here long enough to have you go through that." She grinned evilly. "So, whose body have I got?"

Kitty

Kitty, still standing on the table, was reverting into total bossy mode.

"Okay, I'm Kitty Pryde, now, where's Taylor?" she asked.

Mouse, Sabre and Natalia

Sabre stomped into the room, fuming, carrying the cuffs and collar in one hand. "What the hell is going on? Why am I in this body? And why in the name of God and all His saints was I *wearing a collar*? I am *not* domesticated!"

Natalia was trying to make the voices stop. "Please, please, go away..."

"Well, I'm Mouse," Mouse said.

Kitty

"Okay, so if Mouse is in Hunter, where's Hunter? Okay, I really think we need to all sit down in a group and try and sort this oput," Kitty suggested.

Sabre and Natalia

"Please, make them stop," Natalia begged. She pressed the heels of her hands into the side of her head. Filthy disgusting mutie whore...I wanna see you bleed...Marie?...I want to rip your throat out...cherie, don' cry...Whispers, shouts and screams ran through her mind, each bringing its own memories. She watched herself kill someone and felt the blood roll down her throat. Oh god. "Please, please, please, make them stop. Who's Cain? There's too many people in my head!"

Sabre stiffened as he heard Rogue talking. Obviously not Rogue in there. She walked over to the weeping girl with the white streak. "You're in someone else's body, that's why, lovely. Now, what's your name?" Sabre lifted the white streak of hair out of Rogue's eyes.

"N-n-natalia." Natalia didn't look up, keeping her eyes down.

"Rogue? Where are ye?" Sabre said. "Now, lovely, listen to me. You can't touch anyone, alrigh'? No skin to skin."

Taylor

Taylor heard his name called, and looked up seeing himself - err, sort of - directing people around.

"Hey!" he called out, waving his arms above his head.

"Impostor!" he chuckled, "I'm here. Taylor, that is."

Mouse and Sabre

"Tay! Oh thank god." Mouse walked over to him and grimaced as the body she was wearing reacted differently. "Zac is in my body. I'm in...Hunter's? Who's Hunter?" She frowned. "Anyway, cher, I hope we get this sorted out soon. I don't even know what the babies must be thinking."

"Sabre in here," Sabre called out. "And I still want to know what the hell was with the cuffs and collar."

Kitty

Kitty sighed. "Has anybody seen my body? I'm Kitty." she walked up to Taylor.

"What the HELL has hapened here?" she asked. "Does anybody have a clue?"

Sabre and Natalia

"Who has my body?" Sabre asked. "You can...smell magick. It's kinda got this tingly electric smell mixed with the smell of herbs. Or sometimes blood." He looked around, and spotted his body. He grinned. "Damn but I'm goodlooking. Dru? Dru lovely?"

"Please, make them stop. Please..." Natalia whispered to him. "I can't make them stop and they're saying such horrible things."

Dru

Dru danced over to Sabre. "I am here. Are you my Sabby?" he asked natalia's body. She picked up the collar. "Mmmmmmm, Is this yous?" She asked Sabre.

Sabre

"S'pose...but I'm not wearing it," Sabre said firmly. "I do not wear collars."

Dru

"I told you everything was switching," Drusilla said as she, in Adam's body, swung Sabre, as Natalia around.

"Oh! You're so much easier to carry this way," she remarked. "My kitty."

Taylor

Taylor backed away from Kitty and looked away.

"Ok, don't, do that. Don't come at me like that, it's freaky."

He could hardly stand the 'silence'.

Sabre, Natalia and Mouse

"I am not anyone's sodding kitty!" Sabre growled and disentangled himself from Drusilla as Adam. "Who the hell am I?"

"Natalia," Mouse answered him in Hunter's voice.

"Ah." Sabre nodded slightly. "The one who's in Rogue's body?"

"Apparently so."

"Make them stop! PLEASE!" Natalia cried out. "All Cain thinks of is blood...I can't make him be quiet and he's drowning out all the others..."

"Nasty." Sabre grimaced. "Rogue? How do ye get your voices to shut up?"

"Natalia, please calm down." Mouse went to Natalia's side. She curled in on herself and wept harder.

"They won't be quiet, I can't make them stop...I'm drowning!"

Dru and Kitty

Dru felt the think libery spikes jutting out of Adam's head.

"Sabby? Am I a porcupine?" she asked, confused.

*~*

Kitty saw her own body curled up in the corner, rocking back and forth, and went to see what was wrong.

"Hi. I'm Kitty Pryde. Stuck it Tay's body, and you're in mine. What's the matter?" she asked gently.

"Too quiet. All the voices are gone," Bob said, with tears running down her cheeks. "Then I disappeared. Fell right through the furniture. I think I'm a ghost. Don't exist anymore. Not real!" Bob was freaking out. It was so quiet in his head he thought he would die right then and there.

Sabre and Mouse

"You're not a porcupine, lovely, you're a boy. And hey, I'm a girl!" Sabre grinned. "The guy's a punk, lovely. I know Spike went through a punk stage...actually, he's still in it. It's just hair spikes, Dru love," he reassured her. "What's my power?" He asked Mouse.

"Hmm? Oh, Natalia can create violets," Mouse replied absently as she stroked the shaking girl's hair.

"Really now?" Sabre concentrated and violets bloomed in her hair. "Flowers!"

Jessica, Adam and Dru

Jessi and Adam came over to the group.

"All right," Adam asked, pointing to his body. "Who's in my body?"

"Me!" Dru cried. She went over to Adam, and licked Jessi's cheek. "Mmm, salty." she remarked. Jess in Oliver's body smiled.

"Is that the crazy vampire lady, by any chance?" She asked.

Sabre and Mouse

"Dru is not crazy," Sabre growled, body shifting slightly into prepartory attack mode. "When I find out who you actually are, I think I'm going to do some nasty things to your body."

"Sabre, calm down, please," Mouse said wearily.

He bared his teeth at Jessi in a snarl. It looked kinda...odd.

Jessica, Adam, Dru and Kitty

Jessi in fear, hid behind her own body for protection. Adam protected his girlfried. He stood up and faced Sabre.

"You do NOT threaten my girlfriend," he said. He rarely got upset, except when it came to Jessi.

Dru clucked her tongue. "Naughty Sabby. I am crazy you know." She threw her arms up and danced around in circles, which looked somewhat odd in Adam's body.

Kitty suddenly got a very freaked-out look on Taylor's face. "Okay, I can hear insects talking. I can hear Mouse's babies, and it's REALLY freaking me out!" she said.

Carmen was really freaking out. "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" she screamed at the voices that were telling her to do things. Objects began flying around the room randomly. She held her head in hger hands and fell to the ground.

"I CAN'T TAKE IT! PLEASE JUST SHUT UP!" she screamed.

Isaac, Zac, Rogue, Tate, Oliver and Friday

Rogue made her way over to her body.

"Okay, listen, listen to me," she said to Natalia. "Find the voice named Tate. Tate will help you."

Weird... people were complaining about hearing voices and she was feeling edgy without them.

Isaac winced at Carmen's shouting. It was bad enough hearing voices without her yelling. Still, he seemed to be handling it better than Kitty in Taylor's body. Maybe all those years of concerts and having to look after his younger brothers and sisters had helped him learn to tune things out.

"I'm Isaac," he said.

"And I'm guessing that Rogue's the one in my body," Zac said.

"Where's Tate?" asked Oliver.

"Oli," whispered Scott's voice. "Oli? Hunter?"

Tate was in tears. She couldn't hear anyone. She couldn't feel anyone.

"Tate, is that you?" Oliver asked, walking over.

Tate nodded miserably.

"I can't... I can't... everyone's turned into Bob!" she cried.

Oliver would have put his arms around her, but he felt weird about the idea of hugging a guy. He put err, Sabre's hand on Scott's shoulder instead.

"Oh ho!" Friday said. "I recognise that body! So, Taylor. You're finally a boy."

There had to be a way to block all these emotions. The anxiety, fear, frustration and half a million other things were driving her nuts.

Natalia, Mouse and Sabre

Natalia sobbed quietly. "I can't...it's too loud. There's too many of them!" Suddenly her eyes gleamed through the tears and she looked up and leered at Rogue. "Hello, girlie. And ain't this the surprise? Do you feel like screaming for me now?" Natalia choked in a horrified sob. "Please, make him stop. He's so loud. I can't hear anyone over him!" The laughter echoed through her head.

Mouse eeped quietly as she accidentally zapped a mobile phone someone had left lying around. "What's my power, and how do I make sure I don't kill anyone with it?"

Sabre bristled, and tossed her head. "So. Is this magick or something tha' you aliens have done? You, in my body." She walked over to where his body and Scott were standing. "Breath deeply and tell me if ye can scent magic. If someone's been using magick, my body will be bale to smell it," she told Oliver. "And if there's no magic? Wellll, that could take a bit longer to fix."

Hunter, Rogue and Oliver

"Technokinesis," Hunter told Mouse. "You can control technology. Very good for flushing toilets without touching the button or chain or whatever the case may be."

Damn what was with these... vampirific urges? Aside from the fact that he was IN the body of a vampire...

"Listen to me," Rogue said firmly. "Find Tate. She's your guardian angel in all that mess. She quiets the voices. She helps you control the voices, but she talks very little, very quietly. Pretend you're in a crowded room - close your eyes if it helps. Pretend you're at a party just like this one and Tate is that shy quiet person in the corner. Find her. When you do, she'll stop the others."

Oliver took a breath.

"Well... I can't smell anything... I suppose you figure I'd know it if I smelt it, because I have no idea what magic smells like..."

Mouse, Natalia and Sabre

"Ah, sounds cool. Sounds a lot more useful then empathy," Mouse commented wryly. "Zac, you're going to have to talk to the babies. They're probably freaking out." She headed over to where her body was. "They'll know it's not me in there. And the blood lusting thingie? We think one of the babies is part vampire, so just...calm it down." She put a hand on her own shoulder and looked into her brown eyes. "Concentrate on the one that's thinking about plants. The other two are loud, but if you can find that one of the Three...you should be fine. Just slow down your breathing and close your eyes..." Mouse made her male voice as soothing as she could.

"I can't, I can't, I can't," Natalia hiccuped helplessly. "Oh god, he won't stop laughing." Mutiecheriegirliemariehelpmeohgodscream...

"Magick...oh Jaysus." Sabre rubbed the fineboned hands over her face. "Oh CHRIST this body is pitiful!" She spat angrily . "Magick...it'll make your ears prick, your fur twitch. It's like what a storm feels like before it's actually there. Prickly. Smells like electricity and quicksilver. Usually smells like plants as well, or sometimes like blood." She took in the look on Oliver's face, and laughed shortly. "There's more then one type of magick, me boyo. Each has its own scent, but they all have the same type of feel."

Taylor

"Riiiight..." Taylor looked Friday over.

"And who the heck are you?"

Friday, Zac, Rogue and Oliver

"I'm Friday," Friday replied.

"Talk to the babies?" Zac repeated. "Umm, okay... Hey babies, how ya doing? Listen, I need to talk to the one who digs the plants. As opposed to the blood. Blood sucking not so good."

"I know it's hard," Rogue encouraged Natalia, "but believe me, you can do it. And... and you know what? You can ignore them. It's very hard, but once you find Tate, it'll be easy. Tune them out, like you would when in a a loud, crowded room and trying to listen to the person next to you."

"I don't feel anything like that," Oliver replied. "Nope, nothing significant at all."

Sabre, Mouse and Natalia

"And then tha' will mean it's an alien thing. Not magick. Sorry." Sabre shrugged fluidly. "*That* is not my area of expertise."

"SHUT UP!" Natalia screamed hysterically, then covered her face with her hands again. "Ohohohohoh..."

Mouse snickered. "Yeah, that's the way."

Rogue and Zac

Zac poked his tongue out at Mouse. Or rather he poked Mouse's tongue out.

"I think they're a little confused..." he remarked. "Not that I blame them..."

Rogue winced. She hoped she never sounded like that. He mind raced. Guess it was easy for her to tell someone else how to handle her power - she had been forced to get used to it. A new tactic was in order. She needed something to distract her...

"Umm... Nat? Sing with me..." she said.

Being in the body of a musician had to be good for something right?

Sabre, Mouse and Natalia

"Just...don't bite anyone," Mouse suggested. "Oh, and stay away from plants."

Sabre wandered back over to Dru....well, the body Dru was in and leant against her. "I don't like this a'tall, lovely."

"A song, a song, a song," Natalia whispered. A million words rose inside her mind and she pushed them back down.

"Not talkin' 'bout a year
no not three or four
I don't want that kind of forever
in my life anymore
forever always seems
to be around when it begins
but forever never seems
to be around when it ends
so give me your forever
please your forever
not a day less will do
from you..."

OOC: 'Forever' by Ben Harper

Isaac, Zac, Friday, Tate and Oliver

Rogue nodded and sang along with Natalia.

"Okay, look," Zac said. "Not magic, so Sabre thinks it's something alien. So what's something alien that can shift minds around?"

"Telepathy," Isaac answered immediately.

"Telepaths can do this?" asked Friday. "Huh, I knew Jennifer could play around with people's minds, I didn't know this was possible."

"I'd say it depends on the level of the telepath," Isaac replied. "Different levels can accomplish different things. I'd say we're dealing with a strong telepath here."

"This body is telepathic," Clint said.

"My body," Tate whimpered.

"Tate's telepathy is specialised," Oliver put in. "Couldn't be her."

"Who else is telepathic then - Avery!" Isaac exclaimed. "Where's Avery?"

Silence.

Mouse

"I remember catching a flash of something off from her," Mouse said slowly. "But I didn't think it was anything serious. Just nerves or something."

Isaac and Friday

"We'd better find her," Isaac said.

"She could be in the bathroom..." Friday suggested. "If Taylor would be so kind as to turn me into a girl, I'd be happy to go in. Unless of course, he'd like to turn himself back into a girl?"

Clint might have objected to his body being changed to a girl, but as he was in Tate, he couldn't.

Taylor

"Ok, I haven't quite got the hang of this," Taylor put his hands up in a 'slow down' manner.

He closed his eyes for a moment, trying to concentrate. It didn't help that his own power required zilch concentration... it was automatic rather than manual.

"Ok," he opened his eyes again and focused on Friday.

Slowly, he grinned as he watched Clint's body turn into a girl's.

"Not bad for a first try..." he raised an eyebrow.

Friday

"Good work," Friday replied.

She walked over to the girls bathroom and entered. Her eyes widened, seeing the girl knocked unconscious on the bathroom floor.

"Dang it!" she paused. "I'm getting... I'm feeling something from her, so she must be alive."

She checked Avery's pulse just to be sure, and then she ran out.

"I found her. She's knocked out on the floor. I don't suppose there are any healers in here?"

Dru

Dru, being the bigger, stronger person for once, held Natalia's body in Adam's arms.

"My Dark Prince, I don't like this. Not one bit. A Mindwalker is playing hokeypokey with our minds, and I don't like this soul. It's yicky," Dru pouted.

Bob, meanwhile, was curled up in a ball, crying. He didn't like Kitty's body, it was tool quiet, and he was scared to death. Was it Tate? He needed to find Tate, maybe she would know what was happening, and why it was so quiet. He crawled out from under the table, and looked around.

"Tate?" he called out, tentatively. "Somebody, help. Too quiet."

Tate, Oliver and Friday

"Too, too, too quiet," Tate agreed. "Way too quiet. Way, way -"

"It's okay, really," Oliver said to Tate. "We're going to get this sorted."

"Well," said Friday, "I guess that no one here is a healer. Someone had better get one then."

Silence.

"Any volunteers? I'm happy to go..."

"I'll go with you," Oliver said.

"Okay."

Friday and Oliver left the room to get help.

Oliver, Friday and Tanya

Friday and Oliver had barely stepped out of the room, when they bumped into Tanya.

"Oh, sorry, Tanya," Oliver said.

Tanya eyed them suspiciously.

"Okay," she said. "I felt this surge of telepathic energy being used. There aren't many people on this station who can produce that, and I came to investigate. I'm guessing from the fact that Sabre's body has Oliver in his head, that this would be the place?"

"Yep," Oliver affirmed. "A whole bunch of us - well, all of us - have had our minds swapped."

"I see. Where's Avery? I assume she's the resident telepath?"

"She's in the bathroom. We were off to find a healer," Friday put in. "She's hurt."

"Hmm... okay, lets go back in and try to remedy this situation."

"Wait, what about Avery?"

"I've made a call telepathically, so to speak," Tanya replied. "Someone will be here soon."

"Cool."

They walked back inside, and Tanya winced at the sheer chaos.

"Okay people," she said. "Let's get some order, please. Would all those who have had their minds swapped, please stand next to your natural body."

Sabre and Mouse

Sabre came and stood by his body, scowling darkly. Natalia was really beyond doing anything as she tried to quiet the riot of memories in her head. Mouse came and stood next to her body. She hoped the babies didn't sat anything else about eating Tanya. She still wasn't exactly sure why they disliked her so much, but they did.

Adam, Jess, Dru and Kitty

Adam stood between Jess and Dru, with HUnter on the other side of Dru.

"Pretty circle!" Dru sang, spinning around with her arms out. Kitty took Bob's hand and led him into the circle, next to Taylor.

Tanya

Tanya waited until two circles had formed, then concentrated. Well, Avery sure had made a mess of things. And how the heck she managed to move some of these minds around was a curiosity indeed. Some had telepathic shields. Some minds were 'unconventional' so to speak. And of course, Taylor's mind Avery didn't have the training yet.

An idea popped into her head, but Tanya pushed it aside. She'd dwell on that later.

She concentrated. She lifted the minds. Just as the noise was becoming unbearable, she dropped them into the correct bodies, causing her to gasp loudly from the sheer effort.

Drusilla

Dru found Hunter. "Did you have any visions?" she prodded.

"It's all back together now, all the pretty maids in a row. But did the stars sing to you while you were me?"

Hunter and Tanya

"I... I don't know," Hunter replied. "It was all very confusing."

The door opened then.

"You called?"

Tanya nodded to the healer.

"Bathroom."

The healer nodded and made her way to the bathroom. She put her hands on Avery and began her work.

Avery

Avery's eyes opened. She sat up slowly.

"Why am I in the bathroom?"

Zac and Friday

"That's anyone's guess, honey," replied the healer. "But it looks like you've had an allergic reaction to something. Come on, let's rejoin the others."

"Yay!" Zac was exclaiming, "I'm not pregnant any more."

"No, but I can organise it so you are," Friday taunted.

"Don't you dare."

Isaac, Zac and Friday

"Our minds got swapped," Isaac said, grateful to be in his own body. "Zac was in Mouse's body."

"Psychotic babies," Zac mumbled.

"That's such a nice thing to say," Friday commented. "Especially from someone who's going to be a dad."

Zac poked his tongue out at her.

Avery

"Oh."

Avery nodded then realised what Isaac said.

"Your minds were swapped? Whoops."

Natalia, Sabre and Mouse

Natalia was very quickly refastening the collar and cuffs. "Bad, bad, bad..." She shouldn't take them off. She mustn't. She gave the black headed man with yellow eyes a glare for doing it.

Sabre cracked his neck, and sighed deeply. "Ahhhh, much better." It had been like half his senses were dead. "Rightio, I'm definetly scarpering. That was too odd."

Mouse was sitting in a corner, trying to calm the babies down. They were screaming about where had she gone, what had happened and feeling very betrayed.
