Dani, Sally, Sam and Rusty
Sally didn't mind having to drive at night. Everyone decided to take shift's on the last leg of the journey. Dani & Rusty during the day, Sam & Sally at night. Dani wanted to get to Phoenix as soon as possible.
Sally decided to put some music on. She pulled out her CD holder & pulled out System Of A Down.
"Spiders" she said to herself & pressed play, then switched to the song she wanted. This song always reminded her of a big epic battle. A battle with explosion's & many player's. She didn't realise it would be in one of hers.
"The piercing radiant moon,
The storming of poor June,
All the life running through her hair,
Approaching guiding light,
Our shallow years in fright,

Before you know, Awake," she sang along until suddenly something
slammed onto the back of the car.
Sally started screaming, not wanting to look back. The other three awoke with a scream & then quickly turned to see what was behind them.
"The Bear!" Dani yelled "Stop!"
With that Sally slamed on the brakes. The car came to a screaming holt & Sally turned off the car. All that could be heard was the breathing of the four mutant's & the Demon Bear.
Dani made the first move. She snuck out the car quietly & carefully, grabbing her bow & arrow's from the car floor.
"It came to meet me." she whispered to Rusty, who just stared at the giant creature in disbelieve. It was approximately five metre's tall, it looked like a real bear but something about it told you otherwise. The blood red eye's & the drooling were a bit oof a giveaway.
Dani reached the back of the car & lent against it & whispered out to Rusty "You & Sam, out here. Sally, you shield us & the car."
Rusty gulped & did as he was told. Sam followed, not for one second taking his eye's of the Bear. The Bear caught eye contact with Sam & growled. Suddenly, Sam fell to the ground, unconscious.
"Don't make eye contact!" Dani yelled, lifting up her bow & pulling back one of the enchanted arrow's. The Bear sniffed the air & sensed the magic & lunged at Dani.
"Now!" Dani screamed, and she let the arrow fly, as Sally put up her forcefield. Rusty pulled Sam up from the ground & laid him down in the back of the car. He turned to see Dani's arrow flying toward's the fast approaching Bear, to see it get his arm. The Bear screamed in pain, causing the ground to shake.
Sally looked down at Sam. He still wasn't awake.
"What did it do to you?" she whispered to herself & then looked back at the battle.
Meanwhile, in an unknown place, all Sam could see was black. He was scared. "Where am I?" he wondered to himself, afraid to move.
"Sam...?" he heard a faint familiar voice ask. The voice sounded in pain.
"Pa?" Sam asked back, looking around at nothingness. It was happening all over again.
"Sam...help me" the voice of his father said again.
"I can't Pa. I can't see you." Sam said back, tears starting to form in his eyes. This didn't go un-noticed in the real world.
"Dani! He's crying! Something must be happening!" Sally yelled, starting to really worry.
"Just watch him. Me & Rusty are ready for an all-out!" Dani said back, trying desperately not to look at it's eye's for too long. Rusty started to generate flame on his hand's and Dani was pulling back another arrow. The Bear had finally stopped screaming & was starting to make it's way toward's the group again. Dani banged on the car with her hand & Sally let her forcefield down.
