2 August 2003 - The Pathics Meet.

Joy and Michelle

Bob

Bob was walking down the hall toward the commercial section of the spay-stay, whe he bumped into Tate. SUddenly, he stopped walking, and just stared into her eyes. He wasn't getting any vibes from her. {Man, this is weird,} he thought to himself. He was mesmerized, unable to react, just gazing into Tate's eyes.

Tate

"Why aren't I getting anything from him? Why? Why? Why?" Tate panicked. "Oh man... please someone show up! Please someone come!"

Bob

{What is going on here?} Bob panicked. {Why aren't I getting any vibes? No! This just isn't right! There's something wrong here!} Bob was beginning to freak out. {Oh please, let somebody come down the hall. It's too quiet! There's nothing in her head!}

Tate and Oliver

"Tate! There you are!" came the welcome voice of Oliver. "I've been -"

Tate ran towards him and wrapped her arms around him.

"He's scaring me," Tate sobbed, pointing at Bob.

Oliver looked at Tate then at Bob in confusion.

Moffats

Bob began to relax as another person came into the hall. "There's nothing in her head!" he freaked out. He called on the bond he hand with his brothers. /Dave! Clint! Please, help!/ Dave and Clint came down the hall and saw Tate and Bob both completely hysterical.

"There's something wrong with her!" he said, tears pooling up in the corners of his eyes. "No data. It's like she's not there!" Bob buried his face in his identical twin's shoulder, while Dave put his hand on Bob's back, comforting him by rubbing in circles gently.

"Okay," Dave said, somewhat confused. "What's going on here?"

Tate and Oliver

"That's what I'd like to know," Oliver replied. "Tate?"

"I don't know why he's blaming me for having an empty head. He's the one with nothing. Nothing. Nothing! Nothing!"

Tate cried harder. Oliver held her, and looked at the Moffats helplessly.

"She's a pathic shifter... I dont'know why she can't get anything from Bob, but I know she likes her voices."

Clint

Clint wrapped his arms around his hysterical twin. "Bob's pathic kinetic. He loves his voices as well. Maybe because they' both have pathic powers, they can't get a read on each othjer?" Clint suggested.

Oliver

"Ahh, that could be it," Oliver agreed. "Errr... I think we should separate them. I don't know about Bob, but Tate'll be happier once she gets to the right people."

Dave

"Bob's the same way," Dave said. "We've got to get him together with his family. We're triplets, but we have another brother, and out parents are around somewhere. Maybe later, whnen they've calmed down, we can all meet each other properly. In a big room with lots of people around," he suggested. Clint was trying to back Bob away from Tate slowly.

Oliver and Tate

Oliver nodded.

"Come on Tate," and he led her away. "See yas."

Tate wiped away the last of her tears as they left the Moffatts behind.

Moffatts

Clint and Dave led Bob back to their family's quarters. Darlanna, Sheila and Frank all looked concerned, which made Bob even MORE upset.

"What's wrong, Bob?" Frank asked.

"Strange girl. Nothing in her head. Very disturbing."

"Bob met up with a pathic shifter. And they bumped into each other in an empty hallway, and apparently they couldn't get any vibes off of each other, so they were both freaking out about the lack of voices in their heads," Clint explained. "WE're going to meet up with them later, in a crowded room, with lots of people around."

"Are you okay?" Darlanna and Sheila asked at the same time, and then laughed at each other.

"Yeah, I'm okay," Bob said calming down. "I'll be fine."
