Tina
Tina Hakim-Baba looked around as she got off the plan in Texas. Her whole family, their bodyguards, the Genovian Royal family, and several people from the Xavier Institute were getting ready to go on the space station. Willow, Kitty and several others had come to try and hack into Skynet and stop it before it started. Tina saw a familar group, and darted away from Wahim.
"Oli!" she squealed and ran up to him, and gave both him and Tate big hugs. "How are you guys?"
Oliver, Tate and Hunter
"We're good, and yourself?" Oliver asked, a grin on his face.
"Ahem," Hunter said.
"Oh," Tate giggled. "Hunter this is Tina. Tina this is Hunter."
Tina
"Hi Hunter, I'm Tina, That's my friend Mia," she said, pointing to the princess. Tina yawned. "It was a long flight, and man am I hungry. Is there anywhere to eat around here?" she asked.
Mia, Oliver, Hunter and Tate
"Oh, hey Mia, didn't see you there," Oliver said.
"Nothing new about that," Mia smiled.
"Okay, food. Walk this way," Oliver replied.
Tate watched him walk and shrugged.
"Okay..." she replied and started copying his walk.
"Very funny, Tate," Hunter snickered.
Tate blinked.
"What?"
Hunter just laughed.
Tina
Tina giggled and followed them. "So, Hunter, what's your power?" she asked.
Hunter, Mia, Oliver and Tate
"I'm a technokinetic," Hunter replied.
"And here we are, the cafeteria," Oliver announced, entering the building.
"Man, I'm hungry," Tate said. "Come girls, let's eat."
She took Mia and Tina's hands and pulled them over to the line.
Tina
Tina giggled, and and got a roast beef sandwich, mashed potatoes with gravy, a piece of chocolate cake and a diet soda. Then she followed Tate and the boys to a table. She smiled at Hunter.
"SO, technokinesis, that sound pretty cool, is it fun?" she asked.
Mia, Tate, Hunter and Oliver
Mia and Tate sat down at the table with their food too.
"Yeah, it's real fun," Hunter grinned. "I can use the computer without even having to touch the mouse of keyboard. And I can change the channel on the TV by only thinking about it."
"Yeah, it's a real pest," Oliver put in. "If you want to watch something that's on the same time as something Hunter wants to watch - he wins."
"That's because I rock."
"And you're so modest too."
"Yep! So, what's with all those people you're travelling with. Are those two bodyguards or something?" Hunter asked, pointing to Wahim and Lars.
Tina
Tina blushed. "Yeah, Wahim is my bodyguard and Lars is Mia's. My father is a sheik, and Mia's is a prince." Tina looked down at her mashed potatoes. She had gotten so used to people teasing her because she had a bodyguard.
Hunter, Mia, Tate and Hunte
Hunter looked at Mia.
"A prince?" he repeated. "Wow."
"Ha ha. She meant princess," Mia replied, a small smile on her face.
"He knows," Tate grinned. "He's just a tease."
"Aww, I thought I was the tease," Oliver complained jokingly.
"I said 'a' tease."
"Oh. Oh, well, that's okay then."
Tina
"No, I said 'Mia's is' Meeaning Mia's father is a prince, I was talking about our fathers, not us," Tina said, smacking Hunter lightly. Tina sighed. "Everybody else has the fun powers."
Hunter
"Oh okay, whatever," Hunter replied. "Why, what's your power?"
Tina and Mia
Tina blushed. "I, ah, I make people fall in love." Mia snickered.
"And she hasn't quite mastered it yet, she always seems to put the love whammy on the wrong people."
"Well, at least people aren't sitting on me all the time!" Tina retorted.
Hunter, Oliver and Tate
"Aww, so sweet," Hunter teased.
"Well, at least you don't have Rogue's power," Oliver pointed out with a sidelong look at Tate.
"I like Rogue," Tate put in. "Only thing wrong with her power is that she can't control it."
Tina
"Maybe control will come in time," Tina said. "I'll tell you one thing, I'm certainly glad I finally mastered undoing my whammies," she giggled. "Although, you must admit, it was rather amusing to see Mr. Summers and Mr. Logan going at it," she giggled again.
Oliver and Tate
"I heard about that," Oliver mused. "I'm glad I wasn't there to see it. I think it would have been rather scary."
"But funny," Tate giggled, her eyes sparkling.
Tina
"It was," she looked at Hunter, "Just, if I look like I''m about to sneeze, run away. In fact, if you ever see me near roses, run away, I'm allergic. When I sneeze, anybody nearby me falls in mega lust with whomever's nearest them. It's also a defense, when I get scared, or when I'm being attacked I make people fall in love with me," she explained.
Hunter and Leroy
"I'll keep that in mind."
It was at that moment that Leroy showed up.
"Sorry," he appologised to Tina, Mia and their respective families. "I would have greeted you sooner, but unfortunately I was delayed. By all means, when you're ready to depart to the station, please make your way to the teleportation room."
Leroy put his hand on Oliver's shoulder.
"Oliver here is more than capable to act as your guide if there's any problems."
Tina
Tina giggled. "Groovy. Hey, do you guys know everyone else that's with us?" she asked, gesturing to their families and a few of the students from the Mansion.
Hunter and Leroy
"I don't know any of ya," Hunter said. "Bring on the introductions!"
"I'll leave you to it then," Leroy said.
He left then to attend to other matters. He was a very busy person.
Mia
"Okay," Mia began, feeling like a statesperson. "This is Kitty Pryde, Nicodemus Yoder, Willow Rosenberg, my Grandmere, my father, my mom, Tina's mom, Tina's dad, these are Tina's brothers," she said, pointing to each person. "And that's Drusilla and Sabre," she said.
Hunter and Oliver
"Nice ta meet yas," Hunter said.
Oliver checked his watch.
"When did you guys want to go up?" Oliver asked. "I mean, we have all day, but y'know..."
Willow
"Why don't we go up now," Willow said, "And get settled in, and then we hang out and talk. I'm interesting in meeting the other hackers involved."
Oliver, Hunter, and Tate
"Okay sure," Oliver agreed. "Hunter, would you mind disposing of the trays?"
Hunter shrugged and picked them up.
"Meet you inside."
"Okay, thanks," Oliver nodded. "This way please."
"Now this is unacceptable!" Grandmere declared. "I will not be lead about by a mere child."
Mia stifled a groan. Tate then shapeshifted into an older woman.
"Then please," Tate said respectfully, in a much older voice, "allow me."
Grandmere looked at Tate uncertainly.
"I would be honoured," Tate continued. "To show you the way. To show you all the way. After all, there are so many important people in present company, how can I not?"
She bowed her head respectfully and started heading towards the teleportation room.
"Please, follow me."
Dru
Drusilla spun around with her arms out. "I'm going to the stars!" she sang. Then fell back onto Sabre. "WOn't we have fun, my dark prince?!" she exclaimed.
Tate, Oliver and Hunter
Tate lead the group into the teleportation room. There were lots of lots of people working and waiting to be teleported. Oliver scampered over to Justin, who was in charge of the admin side of the teleportation, and talked to him.
"As you can see, we've been rather busy the last few days," Tate was saying. Lots of people going up. Brett is the teleportor on duty on the surface, and I believe he's been getting a lot more work that Morgan, who's in the station at the moment. More people going up than down."
Oliver came back then.
"Okay, we've been scheduled to go up at a quarter to," he informed them. Which should leave us enough time to make sure everyone has all their gear."
Hunter patted down his body.
"Yep, all here," he joked.
Grandmere sniffed, but that didn't stop Mia from giggling.
Willow
Willow held one hand up in the Vulcan 'live long and prosper' sign. "All right, beam me up, Scotty!" she said with a straight face, before burtsing into giggles. She hadn't spen her whole life with Xander Harris to know nothing about Star Trek.
Tate and Oliver
There was laughter, and soon it was time for them to go up. They all got on the pad and a few seconds later, there they were. On the station.
"Welcome to the station," greeted a woman by the name of Cary. "If you all wouldn't mind getting off the pad please. Oh hello, Oli, Hunter. Where's Tate?"
"I'm here," Tate smiled, waving as she led the group off the pad.
"Ahh. Well, you three know the drill."
"Sure do," Oliver grinned.
Tate led them to a row of people who were sitting at computers.
"If you wouldn't mind registering please," Tate said. "This is important as we need to know how many people are here, age groups, proffessions, so we can cator to everyones needs. And of course, they'll tell you where your quarters are. This should happen quickly as I imagine you've made arrangements in advance."
Willow, Tina and Dru
Willow went up to register. "Okay, what do I out under 'profession'? Goddess? I mean, I could put down student, my my university is in a crater, and my credits never transferred."
Tiina looked just as confused when she got to the space for 'power' "Okay, what should I call my power? I don't think it has a name."
Drusilla frowned. "Bad box. Mine was enchanted, didn't have to touch the slimy letter-board. Just spoke and the words appeared. Sabby, luv, show me how it works?"
Tate
"Just write what you think is appropriate. You can always change your status later," Tate told them. "In fact, it would be more of a surprise if the information didn't change, after all, we are always changing professions, for a start."
Willow
"Good point," WIllow said. "I'll just put goddess," she decided.
Tate
Soon the registering was done and Tate led them out. There was a collection of elevators in the middle of the level.
"These elevators run through every level of the main section," Tate told them, as they stepped on. "Now, would you like for me to take you all directly to your quarters so you can unload, or would you prefer to start the tour now?"
Naturally Tate, already knew the answer, but she was asking out of curtosy, seeing as that was what many of the paro Ewan rummaged in his jacket pty expected of her.
Willow, Kitty and Dawn
"Why don't we get settled in," Willow suggested. "And then we can explore."
"Sounds good to me," Kitty and Dawn said at the same time, giggling.
Tate and Oliver
"No problem," Tate replied.
She pressed the button for the commercial centre, conferring briefly with Oliver. The elevator stopped shortly.
"This is the commercial level," Tate announced, leading them off the elevator. "All the shops and such are here. Now, I believe you are all in Residental block B."
She led them through towards the street towards:
"The Tube," Tate grinned. "Or this is what we've taken to calling it. It's basically a hallway in space that leads to the residentail quarters and back. As you can see, there are a couple of people movers, one each way, so no walking is required. In fact you can even pull up a a chair an sit the whole way. Which is good, because otherwise it's s long walk!"
As she was saying this, she led them to the outward bound people mover.
"This Tube, of course, leads to block B, in case you couldn't tell that by the big letter 'B' above it," Oliver commented dryly, pointing.
Sabre
"Oh, I ne'er would've have guessed it. Would you have, lovely mine?" Sabre asked Dru, hands curling possessively about her waist. "I mean, really, the great blinking 'B' does not in any way show people that that is the way to block B." He swirled her out in a ballroom style move, then brought her back up. "Am I being too much of a smart arse, lovely?" He whispered into her ear, nipping delicately at the lobe of it, drawing dots of blood with his needle like teeth.
Dru
"My luv, can we go out and dance among the stars?" Dru asked. "I still can't believe how clever these mortals are: coming up with ways to live among the stars!"
Sabre
"Dru my love, I regret to inform ye that we can't actually go out into space unless we put those suits on. I'm sure they have places where we can look out though," Sabre said. "And they are rather clever, aren't they?"
Dru
Dru pouted. "But I don't need to breathe," she reminded Sabre. "i want to go to Venus," she decided.
Sabre
"Dru, ye'd explode in the vacuum of space," Sabre said wearily. "I think it's almost certain that ye'd die on Venus as well. It is over hot there."
Dru
Dru pouted. "but Clark can go into space alone. He gets to run on the moon. Can't I?" she asked.
Sabre
"Dru my lovely, I really do not want to see you burst into a small cloud of pink mist," Sabre told her. "The body is still mostly human, remember."
Dru and Willow
"Fine. But then, when we can, I want to put on one of those suits and touch the stars!" she cried, dancing around in circles. Willow laughed. She's really grown attached to the insane vampiress.
Sabre
Sabre laughed. He wouldn't tell her that she really couldn't touch the stars. Maybe he could get the aliens to make something that would look like a star and she could touch it. "Indeed, my beautiful dark one, indeed. We shall make the heavens dance with us. Who could resist you?"
Dru
She and Sabre waltzed along the people mover. Suddenly both hands came up to her Dru's head.
"Oh, it's all wrong! all wrong!"
Sabre
"What's wrong, my lovely?" Sabre inquired worriedly.
Dru and Willow
"Everything is switching! Like on Halloween," she hissed.
"Oh, please no," Willow said. "I really don't wanna be a ghost again."
Sabre
Sabre frowned in confusion. "What about Halloween? Nothing happens on Halloween...what re ye two on about?" He turned to the non-magic members of the party. "Interesting but more or less useless fact. Halloween is the night the demons don't actually do much. It's more like stay at home night."
Willow
"Yeah, well, a few years ago Ethan Rayne decided to change that. He did a spell that turned everyone into their costume." Willow explained.
Sabre
"Wait, I know that name. That's the man Priss was with in the Iniatitive base. He died. It was quite, quite sad really. They had chipped him." Sabre sighed. "Sounds like fun, turning into your costume. What did you turn into?"
Willow
Willow giggled. "Well, Buffy had dressed me up as a slut. But I was uncomfortable, so I put a sheet on over it and went as a ghost. When the spell went off, I turned into a slutty ghost. It was funny."
Sabre
Sabre looked Willow up and down, leered then licked his lips. "Sounds like fun, lovely. Wanna try it again sometime? Seeing you in something like that would be nice. What do you think, Dru my lovely?"
Tate
"As you all will have noticed," Tate said to the others who were not the least bit interested in 'those strange folk', "the space station has flora all through it, including garden level in every block. These help recycle the air so that we can breathe. Of course, there are other ways or producing breatheable air, but the vegetation is the most effective in making it fresh!"
They got to the end of the tube, and she led them to another elevator in the middle of the level.
"I believe you're all on level two. Level one is the garden, level five is the control level."
Sabre
Sabre raised his head and inhaled through his nose. He could already smell the scents of all the people living in it crowding through the air. Goddess above, this place was gonna absolutely stink to high heaven for him. The plants helped, but not that much. He sighed unhappily. The things one did to save the world. "Command center...is that where we hackers will be doing our work? Do ye know when we be getting started?"
Tate
Tate shook her head.
"Each block has it's own control level. Where you'll be working, however, is in one of the three control levels back in the main structure. The control levels are always on the bottom."
Sabre
"As ye say then, lass." Sabre cuddled Drusilla to his side and looked at Willow. "Ye ready to work, Wicca? Tsk, such a shame ye'll have to cut your nails to type quick enough."
Willow and Dru
Willow snickered. "You seem to be the wrong gender," she decided. Dru danced around.
"How about me?" Dru asked. Willow lgrinned evilly.
"Maybe," she said, slyly.
Willow
Willow smiled. "I'm just itching to get my hands on a computer again. Mmmm, I'm in computer nerd heaven here," she grinned.
Willow smirked, and drew one nail along Sabre's cheek. "Now, why would I want to do that?" She asked. "You've never watched me use a computer, now have you?" she asked. "I'm a witch. i don't type."
Tate
They arrived on the second level and Tate, Oliver and HUnter escorted everyone to their rooms. Tate told them all that she would be happy to take them on a tour of the station, and Hunter would go with those here to hack down to the control level when they were ready.
Sabre
Sabre bounced on the bed and looked around. "Well, it's not our house but it'll have t' do. Hmm. Remind me to hire Amadeo once everything's over. He's the guy doing th' renovations on the Mansion, and I've seen some of his stuff about. Now. I think I'm gonna go see what computers they've got for us t' use, lovely." He looked at Dru.
Dru
"Okay," Dru said. "I shall dance down the halls and cause nice mischeif," she grinned. "No biting?" she asked Sabre.
Sabre
"No biting," Sabre told her firmly. "No even pretending to bite. No hurting of any manner, no matter how rude they are. No flashing of yer fangs at the aliens. Be polite. Yer a guest." He stood and stretched. "Now, I think I'm going to find that Hunet boyo." He left the room, whistling slightly. "Ye said ye'd show the hackers they're equipment?" He asked Hunter after he tracked the kid down.
Hunter
"Yep, no problem," Hunter replied. "This way."
He walked to the elevator, went back to the third floor, back through the tube, and the commercial level to the elevators and then down a level to the control centre.
"Tony!" Hunter called.
Tony looked over.
"This is Sabre."
"Ahh, nice to finally meet you," Tony replied, holding out a hand. "We need all the help we can get."
Sabre
Sabre shook the man's hand, looking about him. "Well, you're certainly the little boy scouts, aren't ye? Very well prepared. So, what's our line of attack for these evil machines we're taking down?" He grinned, flashing elongated canines. "This is going t' be fun. Been a long time since I've had a bit of a challenge."
Hunter
"Get in and hack them into pieces," Hunter grinned.
"Ahem, don't you have somewhere to be?" Tony asked.
"Umm, nope."
"Then go find somewhere to be."
Hunter sighed.
"Okay," he replied dejectedly.
And Tony started discussing the matter with Sabre.
Sabre
Sabre followed Tony to a computer and sat down. He started looking through the programs, nodding in pleasure at the range and sophistication of the things accessible to him. "Well, I know one goddess who's going to be very happy indeed. Yer very well set up. So, we have a lead on Skynet? US military. Idiots. I mean, really. When will humans learn?"
Willow
"Hacking, fun!" WIllow declared. "And again, I must say, I really am in nerd heaven!" She followed HUnter.
"So, I hear I'm not the only person who types without touching the keyboard. How fun is that!"
Willow bounced around as she came into the room and saw all the computers.
"OOOOOH! FUN!" she declared.
Sabre
Sabre snickered. "Yes, Willow, fun. Why don't ye calm down before we find out of goddesses can have heart attacks?"
Willow
Willow pouted. "Oh, all right. but, I think that when I walked in here, I spontaneously orgasmed," he told Sabre. "This is, as I said before, geek heaven."
Sabre
Sabre laughed. "Ye, lovely, are such a foine piece of work. Ye always seem to have a zest for life. And ye're funny to listen to as well."
Willow
Willow giggled. "Well, just stay off my bad side, and we'll be all set. You're a fun guy to hang around, Sabby!"
Sabre
"Thanks, lovely." Sabre grinned. "Don't suppose I can convince you to come and play for the other team gain, can I?"
Willow
"I play for both teams!" she said, bouncing around. "There was Oz, and Xander, and. . . I think that's all the guys I've dated. 'Cept I used to have a crush on Jesse. For about a week."
Sabre
"I know Drusilla would love to have ye." Sabre grinned and darted his tongue out to lick his bottom lip. "She wants to taste the goddess in you...in every sense of the word."
Willow
Willow blushed. "Well, seeing as how I'm immortal now, I might take you up on that offer," she purred seductively.
Sabre
Sabre threw his head back and laughed, before stalking over to her. "Ye think ye can handle it, lovely?" He put a hand on her waist. "I'll see ye in a hundred years or so, when all these mortals are dead and gone and we'll talk about eternity, get drunk and cry over the ones we remember...if we remember them at all. And I'll show ye what it is to be worshipped..."
Willow
Willow shivered. "Don't wanna lose people. But that sounds. . . nice."
Sabre
"It's a date, lovely." Sabre grinned. "Now, I better go find Dru, make sure she isn't causing too much trouble."
Willow and Dru
Willow nodded, and then left. Dru was dancing around the corridors, kissing random people on the head and then hopping away.
"SABBY!" she cried, as she ran to him and jumped into his arms, knowing that he would catch her.
Sabre
Sabre caught her and whirled her around, her skirts wrapping around her legs as she held onto him and laughed. He deposited her gently on her feet. "So, cause much trouble, lovely?" He grinned and then bent down to kiss her. He brought his head back up after a few minutes and licked his lips clean of her and his blood. "I hope you've been behaving yourself..."
Dru
"See what I've been doing?" she said. She walked up to yet another stranger and kissed him on the head. Then she kissed the girl next to him.
"I;ve been blessing people's hair!"
Sabre
"Riiiiiiight, lovely." Sabre smiled. "That's good to know. Do you think you've blessed enough people yet?"
Dru
"But it's so much fun!" she cried. "Can we dance?" Dru asked Sabre.
Sabre
"Of course!" The two of them swept into an elegant waltz in the middle of the walkway. "I always want to dnce with my beautiful dark princess."
Dru
Dru suddenly got a look in her eye.
"Sabby, how much do you love me?" she asked, seductively.
Sabre
"A lot, lovely, a lot." Sabre dipped her backwards, then drew her back up. "I love you like the sun loves the moon, like the birds love the sky..."
Dru
"Do you love me enough to marry me?' she asked as he spun her around.
Sabre
"Cats aren't forever type of peoples, lovely." Sabre frowned slightly. "You're my mate. Mine. That's as attached as cats get, really. We move on."
